Your Doing Better..Now Keep Doing Better!
--In Zork’s Room, a talk between Brother Leon and Brother Zork –
Leon steps into Zork's room and nods a hello, “I wanted to be a quick check up of how you’re doing, you have not been in the infirm so I guess that’s a good sign right there.”
Zork grins as he stands up from where he was sitting in a chair and does a cartwheel and chuckles “I feel great, and not been able to do one of those in a while.” He then adds “Ok maybe shouldn’t hurts just a tad.”
Leon sighs and walks over, ”Yeah please don’t be getting back to cartwheels again and I am glad you can..do one, but make it a rare thing, please” He starts to check him over and of course ask questions, “How have you been feelings? Any pains..anywhere pains? More tired? Less tried?”
Zork frowns and nods, “Ok..and no pains, I been takin’ me tea daily Leon and even eat better than I have been, well thanks ta Lacota I eat better” He grins, “And not really tried, course not done anything ta be tried and I finished Flicky and Rayen’s wedding rings yesterday and didn’t get tried or sore at all. Maybe cause I was enjoying making em’”
Leon nods and smiles, “Well your pulse is very good and your breathing is good as well, this is very good news and you don’t sound winded, that’s good..very good in fact I want to see you healthy.”
Zork grins still and nods, “Me too lad I wants ta be around a good many seasons..hmms maybe I could be de advice giver or just ..well something” He chuckles.
Leon shrugs, “Well you still have Silverstorm to help, how is she doing and speaking of how beasts are how is that beaver babe..Kadar’s daughter?”
Zork takes a deep breath as he explains “Kadar had a brother, his brother is ta care fer Vonda and I am ok with that, it be her family and no one should be taken from a family, yes she will live in de woods somewhere but that’s ok I could visit sometimes if I like” To this he smiles. “As fer Silverstorm she be doin’ very well in her lessons.”
Leon nods “That’s true I am glad Vonda still has family in her life and being so young loseing her parents hopefully won’t be as hard on her.”
Zork hmmms softly, “She should still be told, in a few seasons when she can better understand. All beasts should know thar history and who was thar family”
“I know” Leon says, “ I am sure she will be told and they will let her know she was loved very much and still is”
Zork nods, “So how are ya Leon?”
Leon shrugs, “I am fine. Still a bit upset at myself for letting Caleb try to run away. I could of lost him Zork it scared me a lot more than I let on”
Zork looks at Leon, “ Leon..it were not ya fault, and he be a dibbun. Me nephew ran away once and got a 3 hour lecture once Ozzy caught up ta him, see he placed sleeping herbs in Ozzy’s tea..least Caleb didn’t do that”
Leon frowns at this, “ That doesn’t sound good, why are you telling me this?”
Zork answers, “Ta let ya know, tis not ya fault and Caleb is ok and he likely learned from it also. I bet he doesn’t go ta run away again.”
Leon mutters “Maybe..maybe not I don’t know. He even said he hated me and..I don’t know”
Zork sighs “Look Leon, tis not your fault..or his and I am sure he is sorry, right? Don’t let it get ta ya, just place it in de past or ya not ever gonna have a good day”
Leon nods slowly and smiles “Your right Zork..thanks. You know you give good advice”
Zork grins, “I try ta..I try ta”
Leon smiles, “Well you do a good job.”
Zork chuckles, “Ya want ta see de rings? I be holdin’ on ta em for Flicky and Rayen”
“Sure” The healer says and walks over to look.
Zork holds A wrapped box of some sort, inside is two simple silver rings with simple design of a vine , like a rosebush one going around both rings..Flicktail and Rayen's rings for their wedding.
Leon smiles “They look very nice Zork, your very skilled at what you do. Have they seen them yet?”
Zork nods “Last night and they love em’”
Leon still smiles “I am glad of that”
Zork smiles “Me as well..me as well”
Leon nods “I need to go talk to the abbot, see you later Zork” He then heads off to do whatever it is he is doing.
