= Short little role play but still good

FV:Tavern

Outside a sign swings on a rusty creaking frame above the doorway of the tavern depicting a faded painting of what appears to be three rather rich looking skeletons slumped over a table around a black chalice, perhaps such a thing could be taken as a warning but it doesn't appear to work on the locals. The noise within on a normal day is usually heard before the door is even opened and only rises in volume when one actually steps inside.

There are the typical qualities of a tavern within, from the bar to the chairs and booths and the odd drunk who never seems to move it's the little details which encourage a patron to pay his tab if he likes his fingers. One look at some of the staff or customers might give the impression but the room is decorated to the fiercer tastes with bones, mostly skulls cropping up here and there to fill a gap on a shelf or decorating the walls above the doorways, fireplace and bar, a pair of axes joining the one over the fire with some signs that they've been yanked off to join in a fight a couple of times. Some of the comfier chairs are lined with fur and very rarely one might be found with a few pointed bits of bone to decorate the back. Despite the looks there is entertainment and fun to be had, some form of music usually played on a small stage in the corner and at least one bouncer usually tries to keep the peace while beasts gamble, drink and be merry.

A small door behind the bar leads out the back to the kitchen and cellars while one wall has been opened up in a wide arch to increase the space off into the next room where what seems to be a wooden fence with gates on either end has been set up as a fighting pit as further entertainment and something to bet over.

Exits: [Out]

Raymond makes his way into the tavern, he is on duty so he just gets a water to drink and sits down seeing who is ere and who isn’t here as he takes a couple gulps of water.

Clover is also here beside a stoat, she stays close to the stoat who is looking bored, a male stoat that’s brown and white in color and looks like a sea beast, he glares at the dibbun and makes her sit down muttering as he drinks an ale and eats some dried meat of some sort.

Raymond walks over closer and keeps an eye on the two beasts, water in paw and other near his blade.

The stoat eats some food, the dibbun goes to reach up and has her paw slapped and frowns as the stoat replies "Ya ate earlier worthless beast, yeah great gift dad...whatever" The dibbun stays by the chair and rubs her paw.

Raymond speaks up, "Hey, if the kid is hungry let her eat"

Clover blinks at the new voice and starts to tilt her head towards it and move that direction till the stoat grabs her and tosses her to a chair beside him, she barely manages to sit in it and starts to cry a little which only gets a growl from the stoat; she sniffs and manages to calm down.

Raymond narrows his eyes, "Hey that is no way to treat a dibbun, who are you stoat and you will answer" As he stands and speaks he walks over to the stoat with sword now out and pointed at the stoat.

Clover manages to hide under a table as the stoat looks at Raymond, "The badger is mine, I do as I please with things that belong to me so leave, she was a gift from my father, though so far a worthless one"

Raymond levels the blade, “We don't allow slaves here, so if you value your life and you enjoy breathing I suggest you walk away now" He says to the stoat and looks serious.

The stoat narrows his eyes and snorts, "Fine she is yours, didn’t want it anyways!" The stoat leaves and the dibbun stays, the badger stays under the table.

Raymond watches the stoat leave ad looks at the dibbun, "HEY...want some food?" He never was very good around dibbuns but he tries as he gets some oats with fruit and honey and a glass of juice for the badger and sits it beside her.

Clover comes out from under the table, feels and finds the plate and glass and its back under the table where she eats as if she hasn’t had a good meal in a few days.

Raymond stays where he is and drinks his water.

Clover finishes her food and stays put not daring to go out.

Raymond stands slowly and lets a guard keep an eye on the badger, he heads on back out to finish guard duty and make sure the stoat left.
