They are in the Abbey open grounds :)

DoraRose and LilyMoore, mice. Chud, otter.

"I know a bit," Chud answers. He walks over and sits down closer to everybeast. "Welp, that's a thing," he murmurs when he sees the bandaged paw.

LilyMoore sniffs and holds her paw to her chest. "I'm trying to be good, but how can I do that if I can't do what I'm told?" DoraRose hugs her. "But you were told to not help in the kitchens until your paw is a little better. Don't' worry, you're not in trouble. You are doing exactly what you were told to do." Glancing at the otter, she adds, "Could you 2 help me finish Lily's dress for tomorrow? I hear that if she behaves, she can be a flower girl in Flicktail's wedding." The young mousemaid gasps in delight.

Chud stretches, sighing contently as his back crackles. "All right, I c'n 'elp. I ain't an embroiderer, anythin' like that, certainly not fancy at it, but I know how t'sew things t'gether...gotta fix m'own clothes and stitch wounds after all." He reaches in his belt pouch and pulls out a small needle and some thread.

DoraRose smiles as her daughter claps her paws. "Yes, Lily, go get it. We can work on it out here. It's too nice of a day to be cooped up inside, anyway." As LilyMoore dashes to the gatehouse, the warrior smiles, tells the otter she'll be right back, and heads inside. After a short while, she returns, carrying 2 chairs. She sets them down and sits in one, not even winded. As the mousemaid comes dashing back up, the dress in her arms, Angela comes hobbling out of the Abbey, leaning heavily on her staff as she carries a sewing basket over. Sitting down, she reaches for the dress. "I think we should put on vines an' flowers." DoraRose agrees and starts embroidering the left sleeve. LilyMoore plops down and spreads the unfinished, unhemmed skirt over her and the otter's laps and immediately starts hemming. The dress is unbleached muslin, sturdy yet delicately crafted.

Chud dons a thimble on one thumb and begins sewing skillfully. Not artfully, but quickly and efficiently stitching everything into shape. The seams he creates are straight, simple, yet easy on the eyes for all their plain-ness. Clearly he's of a practical inclination.
