Moledeep: Dibbuns Garden

This evening, there's two beasts in the pond! Its Kentar and Robin. The stoats are swimming about and talking about something in an odd language, and Kentar seems quite happy. The two stoats laugh as Robin floats around on his back.

Aikuen slowly walks in from the entrance toward the garden path. He has a piece of parchment in one paw, and a bundle of a little otter in the other. Seems to be Ella for the day. He hums to himself, thinking that he was the only one out, until the sounds of laughter turns his ear. He blinks and looks off toward the pond, "Me thinks, the stoats, are about..." he whispers to the little one, who grrs and yawns. He puts the parchment in his pocket before heading off toward the pond.

More odd words in a foreign tongue are heard from the pond before a loud splash and a gurgle or two before loud laughter. Kentar splashed Robin who accidentally went under water afterwards. "Hahaha" Robin laughs, splashing back at his father.

Aikuen yawns and enters, but stays on the other side of the rope fence, "Well... Well... Well... Look who he got here... If it isn't the silly stoats Kent-Who-Went... Kentar... and Rob-a-lob... Robin..." he chuckles.

More odd words and then a laugh before the two stoats look towards the otters that arrived. Kentar and Robin both wave and say something in greeting before Kentar ergs a little. "Hey Aik!" he chuckles a little bit.

Aikuen eyes them both, "Hey. I don't talk in Ashurain in front of you guys... So stop talking... Whatever it is you are talking about..." he chuckles, "Silly stoats... Isn't that right Ella... They are just so silly!" he giggles and gurgles.

"Haha, Sorry Aik." Robin smirks a little. "If it helps, we weren't talking about you." Kentar grins a little evilly before tilting his head. "I didn't think you spoke Ashurain anymore?" He tilts his head to one side.

Aikuen bounces the bundle, who the sounds of uhhing from the little babe, "Well Good then! And i don't, because... You guys cant understand it... and the second... i forgot a lot of it..." he snorts.

Kentar laughs a little. "Well, we understand it, and we remember it!" the stoats grin before swimming to shore. "So there!" he nods. Robin yawns and stands, drying himself off with a towel. "I'll be back inside, napping probably." he chuckles before waving at Aik and going off. Once Robin is out of earshot, Kentar speaks again. "I tend to speak that to Robin more then anyone else since he has trouble understanding anything else." he nods, staying in the water.

Aikuen goes within the fence and leans against a post, "Its still rude! Anyway, i don't mind..." he laughs, and watches Robin leave, "See yah..." he waits till he goes before turning back to Kentar, "Seems to understand English very well, all the same. A lot better then when i was learning..."

Kentar nods a little bit and looks towards where Robin left. "Yeah. He seems it. But he doesn't really. Only bits and pieces of it. I've said things to him before that have made him very confused. He understands small things like, hello, how are you, that sort of thing. And he'll do his best to follow along in a conversation. Though he said that it is rather hard." he nods.

Aikuen snorts, "Wow... I've had extended conversations with him. And i could never tell... Maybe because i speak bad as well!" he chuckles.

Kentar shrugs. "Yeah. So have I. But it doesn't bother him. He's learning quickly. But still finds it hard." he nods. "Although, I found being around you hard at one point." he grins. "Didn't stop me." he nods.

Aikuen sticks his tongues out at Kentar, "You guys are still doing a lot better then when i did. I was pointing and making paw motions for the longest time. Cause i didn't know how to saw things... Besides you never told me that you spoke another language. But i could tell by your accent. Very GOUSIM-ish..." he nods.

Kentar chuckles a little bit and shrugs. "I speak two. English and my native one." he doesn't bother naming it. "Sort of forgot the name of the language. A long time ago." he laughed. "Only few in the village spoke it, actually. Its dying out." he nods. "Oh well." He then nods. "Yeah, well. My family taught me to speak english once I was four seasons old." he nods. "Pretty hard. Still have some trouble understanding it sometimes. Not as much though." he nods. For some reason, his accent is a little more noticeable. Probably being around Robin a lot has brought it back a little.

Aikuen ahs and nods, "Okay. I've heard it before. But never got around to figuring it out. As no beasts speaks it anymore. But English is okay. Once you learn that 'Gooder' is not a word. Its should be... Everything would be so much Gooder..." he laughs, and pokes Ella on the nose, "Gooder is not a word. GoodGoodGood." he enunciates a few times.

Kentar chuckles a little and slowly shakes his head. "Silly beast." he grins before looking around. "So Aik." he says. "How are you this fine day? And Ella. How is she?" he smiles.

Aikuen makes a stupid face, and Ella giggles loudly, "I'm not silly! Kentar is the Silly!" he chuckles before nosing her, and hugging her, "I'm doing great. She is doing great... everything... is just great... Ya know... Just been so happy lately... i just cant stand it... Fira Attacked me again last night... She does not liked being cooped up." he chuckles, "Even got started on the training grounds i got planed out..." the thing in his pocket, "Cause you said you wanted to learn to fight and stuff..."

Kentar ahs and nods a little bit, smiling some. "I bet you just made her mad, as usual!" he laughs before blinking. "Oh. Yeah, I was going to ask about that soon." He nods. "So. Your still going to train me?" he asks. "Thank you Aik. I've been. Uneasy lately. Still." he nods.

Aikuen shrugs, "I try not too! Though i think i do it on purpose. Because i like it when she attacks me..." he grins, and scratches his nose, "Yep! I'm still going to train you. And Will, if he wants too. I've been thinking of how I'm going to do it. So i decided to make a grounds near, in the forest. To teach you... Also so the little ones don't see what we are doing, until they are old enough..." he thinks for a minute

Kentar smiles a little and nods slowly. "Yeah." he nods. "Good thinking." The stoat sighs a little. "Thanks Aik. For still going to train me. I know you don't like fighting, so...thanks." he nods.

Aikuen nods a little bit, "I know. I still don't. But I know, where it comes from. So I can understand why you want to learn. Though i will not teach you the whole thing. Just, the good stuff... That's it..." he nods, "I need to have a few things built... You mind helping me?"

Kentar nods slowly. "I understand." he replies before smiling a little. "Yeah, I'll help." he chuckles. "Your doing something that means more to me then anything else. Of course I don't mind helping."

Aikuen tilts his head, but shrugs it off, "Yah... I need a lot of things built. Somethings we can live without, but would like built all the same... I needs a weapons racks. A few wooden dummies, and soft dummy, and a metal dummy... A bunch of ropes. A few walls and level with levers. And of course the weapons..." he nods.

Kentar nods slowly. "Yeah. Get me a list. And I'll build what you need." he chuckles. "And want." He nods slowly. "Anyways." he climbs out of the water and starts drying himself off. "I promised Garnet I'll spend some time with her today." he says. "I'm going to go and do that." he smiles. "I'll see you later, Aik!" he nods.

Aikuen nods, and moves his butt a little bit, "Already got a list and place! Just need to get it done!" he nods, "Aye Aye Kentar! Spend time with the ole wife, is always a good thing!" he chuckles and watches him leave, before talking to Ella, "Isn't Kentar so nice and stuff... You have a good brother, eh?" he chuckles, and licks the top of her head, "My... Our little darling..." and he noses her, staring to sing a little bit.

William chuckles a little at the otters having come out to the pond as Aikuen and Kentar had been talking. "What are we making?" he asks the otter.

Aikuen bounces Ella, and jumps a little at Will, "Holy Moly Will! Don't sneak up on me like that!" he takes a deep breath and says, "Oh... Just planing out the training grounds. Where to teach Kentar... and you, if you wish. How to fight and stuff..." he nods a little bit, "But just the good stuff..." he can't stress that enough.

William laughs a little more as the otter jumps then nods a bit, "I heard you talking with Kentar before he went in. .... I've sen a few places with that kind of stuff before. They got that stuff at Camp Willow I'm sure and there's a place up river that does too but think it's still lived in. .... How long do you think it'll take to make all th stuff we'll need? Kentar can make swords and maybe other stuff in th smithy."

Aikuen nods, "I know they do. But were not supplying an army. Just one of each type. Scimitar, Claymore, Etc... Stuff like that... And since most of the stuff that i asked for, cannot be transported as a whole, and has to be built on location. It may take awhile. But i expected that. I think Kentar also know that..." he snaps his free claw, "A Shed!" he nods, and writes it down in his mind.

William blinks and squints at the otter as if that will make him make more sense. "What about a shed?" he asks, "We have one already."

Aikuen knows he is not making much since. Good thing he made a plan, that can be worked on. He tilts his head, "Aye a shed. A weapons shed. One that can be near the grounds. And most importantly. Can be locked... OOO!" he smiles evilly, "Think you can dig a hole... a bit bigger than the garden shed?"

William asks, "Bigger as in wider or as in deeper than th shed is tall? Or both? And where do you want it?"

Aikuen points behind the pond, "Go that way, into the woods, about a click. There is a small secluded clearing in the woods. That's where i want it set up...." he nods, and starts to make motions with his free paw, trying to help the rat understand, "Okay... i want you to dig a hole... that can fit the entire shed. Height width and length... ooo! And then some... I'm thinking like a cellar deal.... A locked door... then a stairwell, then another locked door!..." a light shines in his eyes.

William chews on his lip a little while, "Ok, needs t be deeper than th gardening shed is tall and a lot wider and th doors need t fit a very tall otter at least. How tall is th gardening shed? It'll take a long time to make it. ..... Do you have any plans draw up and did you say you wanted stairs?" The rat tries to piece together what the otter is saying in his mind. "Hmmm .... who all, besides me, will be working on it?"

Aikuen smiles a little bit, "Whoever wants to work on it. I know it wont be built in a day. May take the rest of the season to do. I was expecting that. And I'm okay with it. And i don't have plan for the shed yet. But ill draw up a plan... so you know what it looks like. Just so you know and stuff... Don't worry about it too much... I'm still in the brainstorming stage..." he laughs. Ella yawns and buries her face in Aik's arms.

William nods, "Well when you have it more settled let me know."

Aikuen chuckles, "Aye, I will! I have the list of things I need. That I need. Like the weapons. But I'm continuing the list as I go and go... I'll let you, the first to know, when I have a sketch of the shed. How I want it..." he grins and leans heavily against the post, slowly rubbing the back of his oldest daughter, thinking about napping along with her. Probably a bad idea.

William laughs, "You sound like a drunk bat. Are you ok?"

Aikuen blinks up at Will, "A drunk bat? That's... oddly specific... Heh... I'm fine. Well... I don't know. I'm not drunk. I'm tired... but I have all this energy... it's weird..." he chuckles.

William chuckles, "Didn't say you were drunk. Just asking if you're ill or not. Maybe you should take Ella in and see if you can take a nap or something. Or see if she will. That might take a good part of your energy unless she /wants/ a nap."

Aikuen scratches his his chest, "I don't think I'm ill... At least I hope not..." he ergs and nods a bit, "I might... Seems Ella has already drifted off... I could use a nap..." he nods slowly and lazily gets up, leaning against the post.

William smiles at the little otter, "Wel,l one otter down. Three more t go. I'll be in a little later." He waves the otters off.

Aikuen smiles and slowly makes his way back to the entrance, "Hopefully Venei has also tucked down... So I can get a little nap in... See yah Will..." he yawns and sleepily makes his way in, and is gone.

William nods, "If she isn't I'm sure you could find somebeast t put her t sleep so you can nap." The rat waves again as his father and one sister go in and then goes to walking around the gardens for a while.
