Well, Thats..One Way To Do It

Thorn and Leon get out of the old office just..not in the best way

Leon slowly wakes with a groan, "Why.." He opens his eyes, "Floor?.." He lays a paw on his forehead and blinks a few times, "Where am I and...why do I have the worse headache ever?"

Thorn is rocking back and forth as she hugs her knees to her chest, she has repeatly tried to open the door and only made the knob on this side break, she also looks like she been crying. She looks over at Leon and frowns more muttering something into her arms as she hugs her knees.

Leon looks over at the mumbling rat dibbun and slowly tries to stand and regrets it quickly as he looks around the room holding his throbbing head, "What is this room? Never been in here before...ohhhhh" He moves a paw to one of the many pouches pulling out some willow bark but frowns, no water to mix it in, he focuses on Thorn, "Thorn?"

Thorn whimpers but finally looks over at him, her paws have a couple splinters in them and her eyes are red from crying, she lets out a .."What?..."

Leon crawls over to where she is, headache is not helping as he looks at the door and the one window and frowns trying to remember, "Its...daytime, what happen?"

Thorn sniffs, "He..Used a dart on you and ..brought me and you here...." She curls into a ball , it's clear she hates the room.

Leon frowns "Dart?" He rubs his shoulder and goes to stand again but the headache forbids that so he stays seated, “Who?..."It then dawns on him the only other beast in the infirm was.."Patchfur."

Thorn nods, "Knockout and..and he was looking for some sort of poison herb or..or something"

Leon frowns and feels in an inside pocket, "Ok..and I don't keep those in the infirm, what little there is I keep with me all the time...why was he looking for it?"

Thorn sniffs, "Morgan told him to..to kill someone cause he made him lose this fight and...and prevented him from slaying some chieftain cat or something..." She stares at the floor only calming a little but she still HATES the close in room. She whimpers some "I want..o..out of here."

Leon listens as he tries to figure out how to get out, he frowns more "That's not good we need to try and draw attention up here or hope someone notices me missing soon"

Thorn shrugs "They wouldn’t loo....look up here and I already tried t..t..to get out and no one heard me" She has tears flowing now.

Leon sighs, "You have a point." He tries to stand again with the help of a chair, the room is very empty and then he sits down, "Ok..we think got to be a way"

Thorn just ends up crying now, suddenly feeling like the age she truely is or maybe a little younger.

Leon frowns, "Thorn..it will be ok, we will get out of here somehow or other." He glances at the window, maybe the chair and he could climb onto it and out, or maybe not, as he can tell they are possibly on the top floor as the attic has a door in the floor, not the wall.

Thorn looks near panic, not that she hasn’t already panicked, “No it won’t be ok, we are trapped!”

Leon stands as he pushes the chair to the window, "Not..totally trapped" He frowns and slowly stands. The headache and dizziness doesn’t help matters at all as he gets on the chair and looks out the window and frowns, ok there is a drainpipe here, that's good right? He takes a deep breath and pulls himself up and into the window barely big enough for him to safely be in.

Thorn looks up and frowns "What are you doing?" She forgets for a short while she is in a locked room with both doorknobs broken off and a stuck door and walks over to him quickly.

Leon looks down and gulps and looks upwards, oh yeah go higher what a plan! "I am..getting help. The sparrows are up there and they can get a message to someone, anyone"

Thorn frowns at this plan "C..Can't ya just yell out the window? It be safer than that"

Leon frowns, "Yeah and that rat is after my friend and I think he knows where my father is, go..gotta do this" Now it's his turn to be afraid of something as he reaches for the drainpipe and gulps as he keeps his vision upwards and grabs a hold of it tightly and slips off the window with a gasp. He inches up the drain pipe towards the roof, yep his great plan is to go higher as he mutters "Don't look down..don't look down"

Thorn peeks out and looks down, no beasts are around and most likely inside or the other side of the abbey out of view, she watches Leon and goes to try and join him "I am coming too..."

Leon shakes his head as he is almost there, "Noo..stay inside this is..is very dangerous" He is nearing the top very slowly, he slides down a little once and grips the drainpipe even more shivering some before climbing up slowly again.

Thorn frowns "Then why are you doing it? Your like 4 stories up and like above the attic here soon."

That didn't help the Master Healer's mood at all, he inches a little more up and makes the mistake of looking down and gulps, focusing on just the bricks on the wall he moves a little faster till he touches the roof top with his paw and takes a couple shaky breaths.

Thorn frowns, course she choices not to listen on staying inside or least she rather not she been trapped in this small room too long and she needs space so she gets out also and is a lot more use to climbing that he is, and can do it quicker also. But she does so carefully when she climbs up his back and onto the roof and looks down at him and around "Wow..this is like WAY HIGH!"

Leon looks up and frowns at her "You..should of stayed inside." He tries his best to climb the rest of the way and drags himself to the roof and shivers, he peers around the roof to find the sparrows loft, he frowns great as it’s a little ways away and...slightly higher.

Thorn watches him get to the roof and stands as she moves back, high places don’t seem to phase her and she even does a cartwheel on the roof, “Glad to be out of that room, now what?"

Leon doesn't say anything. High places brother him badly, not that he is as high as he was with a bird but still a bit too high for him, he tries to balance and soon finds his balance is way off and that headache grows even worse when he stands causing him to fall backwards, the only thing saving him from instant death is his pants leg gets stuck on the gutters where leaves collect for the drain pipe, his eyes go wide as the ground seems to spin and he closes his eyes tightly.

Thorn frowns and looks down and looks at his stuck pants leg, yeah trying to undo that could be bad, "Ohhh..you need help!" She looks ready to panic as she looks down at the grounds, she could go down the pipe or find a sparrow herself.

Leon keeps his eyes tightly shut, he doesn’t move as he rather not get loose right now and is even afraid to try and grab the pipe close by, he stutters..."Ge..get h..help,d..don’t care who"

Thorn looks around, no one in sight. Well that’s great and she won’t risk trying to pull him up either as she is not that strong, "Umm...your stuck good so...well and the pipe is close to you and..what do I do?"

Leon shivers some "I..don't...c..care"

Thorn frowns as she tries to think, a safe way down or talk to birds, she never liked birds much and not sure they like rats as she seen how they acted with the horde beasts. She looks for a tree nearby, hmmms too far. She then looks at the drain pipe, she could slide down it and get help, "Ummm..stay put" She goes to attempt to climb down carefully, it is fairly far.

Leon frowns, oh yeah stay put like he could move if he wanted to, luckily his pants don't rip any and stay stuck to the gutter pipe, he gulps again as he keeps his eyes shut but he does try and move a little to reach shaky paws up to grab the gutter pipe tightly if he can.

Thorn frowns as she watches this, "I be careful, you could fall doing that."

Leon is already shaky as he manages to grip the gutter pipe and gasps as he about slips, he grips it harder and shuts his eyes tightly, his pants leg is a little ripped on the bottom now, easily sewed. So how does he get up as that seems the best idea than down. Well least he is not upside down now.

Thorn frowns deeply and goes to where she can slide down a pipe, she stays careful as she gets down and to the ground with an oof as she drops the last few feet and stands dusting off. She looks around for some beast, anyone to get some help. First for Leon and then on what happen to led to this.

Leon stays hanging on and his fingers hurt. He opens his eyes slowly to see how close the pipe going down is and tries to inch his way over very slowly not looking down at all.

Thorn is meanwhile down and looks around "Why is no one here when I need them" She mutters, and why couldn’t they be on another side of the abbey.

Leon is not doing so good right now, he hates being this high up and has quickly decided this was a bad plan as he gulps and tries to grab the pipe to at least try and get down.

Thorn frowns and looks up as she is not sure going too far is a good idea, but she goes to try and find someone anyways, hopefully some beast is close.

Leon gets a hold of the pipe and tries to slowly make his way down, he almost slips a couple of times and does manage to get the attention of a couple sparrows, luckily for him as half way down he loses his grip and feels nothing but air as he passes out, the two sparrows manage to catch him before he would of hit the ground and gently lay him down and stare at him. Well he is down at least but he is still passed out, some from the fear of possible death and some cause that headache is worse now.

Thorn has failed to find a beast and rushes back over when she sees Leon on the ground and the two sparrows.

Leon is passed out, one sparrow tilts his head as he looks at the rat "Healer worm fall, we catchum quick fast and now healerworm need ...other healerworms" Leon has no injuries just the rip pants leg and some red marks on his paws and the fact he is passed out, but he is breathing ok.

Thorn frowns unsure what to do now, they are both down, "Need to find some beast umm" Yeah how does she talk to these birds, "A bad ratworm locked us up..and we got out.." Yeah not the best way out but hey it worked.

A hedgehog comes dashing down the steps from the Infirmary. "Brother Leon! Thank goodness I found you! We've been looking everywhere!" He runs over to the group. "Brother Leon!"

Leon doesn't respond, the two sparrows are listening to the rat maid, one tilts their head and the other looks up at the roof and back to them "Lockedum whereum?"

Thorn points way up to a small window and frowns, "Old office and the door is broke and..." He sighs "The rat..Patchfur he is dangerous and he may be looking to harm someone or..or worse"

The two sparrows nod and fly off to find the rat, and also alert a guard as well.

Thorn frowns and stays seated beside Brother Leon, she finally notices the hedgehog and sighs as she has no clue what to do but wait.

Leon is still passed out but he does groan now and may be waking soon. What a way to start a day, well could of been A LOT worse.
