Well, That was an intresting, and short, chat

The scent in the air notably changes within the village compared to the sweet fragrant flowery smells outside the east gates. Stale air, rotting food and the occasionally not particularly pleasant smelling inhabitant all assault the nose until it gets used to things. Mercenary guards patrol the high wooden palisade wall separates the vermin village from the outside world, the only break in sight in the form of the main gate to the village to the east. North of the path one of the few stone buildings in the village stands a little run down, now an inn it butts up to the side of the tavern and boasts many beds available, at least that's probably what the sign says, much like the building it's old and the beast who wrote it has probably died of old age long after the paint was last touched up. West finally buildings begin to spring up everywhere and the path widens into a large clearing at the centre of the village.

Scioto is walking out of the tavern, a guard stays close by him as he then starts to head to his home, it’s been a long day he just wants to get some rest.

Hyde is by the entry starting to leave the village, in his mind he has been here long enough and its quieter and less beasts so he takes the chance, plus Zee..well he went to sleep..hey least Hyde stayed a few days right?

Scioto spots him and walks over" You’re leaving so soon, I needed to talk to you first."

Hyde stops..great spotted as he slowly turns around "Questions?" His voice this deep monotone sound and it never changes, "I have to go..too many beasts around..so goodbye." He goes to walk around the cat.

Scioto steps in his way and crosses his arms over his chest, "You mentioned a crazy mouse, what do you know of him?"

Hyde frowns, "He is..crazy?" His voice still has that same..monotone..level," And he tried to hurt my dad..and you..and others north of here, there you have info can I go now?" He seems to dislike being forced to stay where he is.

Scioto sighs , he nods "Yeah yeah I know that already. You have nothing else?"

Hyde seems to think and shakes his head, "Nope.." That simple monotone voice..sort of creepy in a way.

Scioto looks like he is getting a little grumpy about this, he then steps out of the badgers way, "Just go, but if you happen to find anything that seems important or you remember then let me know, maybe in a letter if it’s easier for you." He waits on a reply.

Hyde nods "I can do that..." His monotone voice a little more quiet now, "I can send Thunder..my bird..he can fly fast." He walks past the cat and to the trail, watching Scioto closely as it seems he trusts very few beasts.

Scioto nods as he looks towards his house, and turns back to the badger after a couple moments to say something else or ask something else.

Hyde has taken his chance and disappeared down the path, he seems goods at disappearing and is fast as well on his foot paws and also able to make no sound when he does move..will he be back? Well that’s hard to say knowing him he will most likely just send a letter.

Scioto blinks as he looks surprised, he looks at a guard "Where did he go?" The guard shrugs as Scioto just sighs and shakes his head and walks on home, the guard follows the chieftain home.
