It had been a couple weeks and the camp had moved north from where they were. They found a more permeant place, an old wolf tribe base it seemed as it had one building, with a basement and that basement was perfect for a prison cell. Cold and dark and only one window so small only a paw could fit though and that was if one would EVER reach it, but it let in need air. Also the place was still very strong and hard to escape from, and one way in and out. Bora himself broke the door latch on the captives side and kept the one on his side, and added a latch on his side to keep it good and locked.

Zee sighs as he paces back and forth, he is starting to quickly tire of being a captive.

Flare watches him as he looks down at Rosewater and frowns, “Ya going to make a trench Zee, pacing is going to do us no good.”

Rosewater is ill and shiver, her dibbun may be making its way into the word sooner, rather than later.

Zee stops and sits “We are close to my wolf friends; this is not good if they don’t know whats to come.” He frowns and glances at Hyde sleeping form and then the hares, “How is your mate Flare?”

Flare looks near tears, “Not good, the baby may be coming soon, but she has a fever and has not spoken to me the past half an hour, I am worried Zee, I..I may lose her and the baby.”

Zee sighs, “ Try not to worry too much, not yet. There is always hope.”

There is then the sound of a door being unlocked and in comes the artic fox Bora, a smirk on his lips, “We are close to the hunting grounds of The Flowing Stream, what do you all have to have about that?”

Hyde looks up and shakes his head “You should leave them alone.” His voice tried but still monotone as ever.

Zee glares at the fox, “I hope they destroy your group, that’s what.”

Bora chuckles “Want to hear another bit of news, Magus has made it to Mossflower, maybe I will get word that he has slayed that badger maid soon.”

Zee narrows his eyes, “And if he does, I will make sure you die where you stand.”

Rosewater whimpers and looks to be having trouble breathing as she shivers.

Flare keeps a paw on her shoulder “Its ok love..stay with me.” He is paying the fox no mind at all.

Bora laughs coldly “Really now?..” He says to Zee and then looks at the hare maid as he walks over to her and Flare, “Whats this?”

Zee goes to knock Bora away from the hares, coming at him fairly fast for his age.

Hyde blinks and watches Zee, but for now he stays where he is.

Bora sidesteps and claws at Zee with his gantlet, aiming to try and slam the older beast to the hard floor.

Flare narrows his eyes and quickly jumps at the fox while he is distracted, his only weapon being his powerful hind leg, so a swift kick is going to go into his side, unless he can move in time and that’s if he even knows.

Rosewater meanwhile slips into unconsciousness.

Zee grunts and hits the floor hard, he ends up dislocating his shoulder and tenses up in pain.

Bora smirks and then takes a deep intake of air as the hare manages to knock him sideways, he growls and slaps the hare across the face, “You pay for that woodlander!” He takes his longsword and walks over to Rosewater and at first frowns, like he is concern and then brings the sword across her throat in a lightning quick move!

Rosewater is dead almost instantly, and sadly her unborn child will quickly follow.

Flare looks on in horror, he doesn’t even feel when the gantlet connects and leaves three claw marks down the right side of his face, “Rosewater…NOOOOOO!!!”

Hyde is rarely one for violence but seeing this he is suddenly on his foot paws and goes to charge Bora from the other side of the room.

Zee goes to slowly get up, but with some difficulty cause of the shoulder.

Bora grabs Zee and lays the blade at his throat as he smiles coldly at Hyde, “Guess who’s next if ya keep that course of action strip dog.”

Flare holds his dead mate in his arms and tears just fall, he looks up and frowns more, he rather not see another death.

Hyde comes to a sudden stop at which he almost falls over, he then backs off slowly eyes never leaving the blade at his father’s throat.

Zee stays very still and quiet as Bora does this.

Bora face forms a small cruel smile as he moves the blade away and lets go of the badger, “ Wise choice strip dog, I will let him live for now .” He looks at the hare, “As for her , a guard will collect her body soon, you be wise to surrender it, or I let you watch someone else die tonight and I care not who it is!” With this he chuckles coldly and leaves them alone after locking the cell door.

Hyde rushes over to Zee to help him up “You ok?” He asks concerned.

Flare lays Rosewater down and walks over to also help Zee up.

Zee frowns as he is helped up “I’m sorry Flare; I tried ta get him away from you.” He holds his shoulder and then walks over to the wall and slams his shoulder into it and the shoulder is knocked back into place with not so much of a yelp, just a couple deep breaths and he stands better.

Flare nods “Tis ok Zee, you could of easily of died too, and it was I who kicked him, not you, it’s my fault Rosewater and the dibbun are dead” He leans into the badger now letting his depression and lack of hope show now.

Zee hugs the hare and sighs, “Please don’t let yourself slip into depression. You need to try and keep sprits up.”

Flare nods in understanding ”Ya right Zee, I do..Bora will pay for this, we need to stop him before he causes more pain, you both with me?”

Hyde nods “Yes..”

Zee nods “Of course.”

The 3 friends have a small memorial service for Rosewater and then after her body is taken by the guards the 3 friends start to plan on how to escape and how to fight Bora and the Frosted Arrow.
