Ripfang tended to his leader, he had went back to see aftermath of the battle only to find no death he wanted to see, his brother Scarface dead as he hisses a warning to anyone near. Also gone was his master’s new weapons but no matter, more could be made in time and his master still had the twin blades he always had. He hisses and left the barn, to go back to his master.

Markalaway, along with a tall red furred fox had grabbed the fallen crossbow and watched as the monitor left, he too then silently left.

After a few hours have passed Zurrgg was awake and he was PEEVED! “How there they do this. Tell me Ripfang is the badgers dead or alive?”

Xander is nearby curled up and asleep, a chain from his neck to a metal post in the ground.

The four beasts still with Zurrgg back off, a couple rats and a couple weasels, all that’s left of his small gang for now.

A squirrel maid helping wild bees after a rather bad thunderstorm watches from behind a thorn bush and frowns at the sight before her.

A fox spots the maid and goes to grab her “Boss don’t like spies!!”

Ripfang meanwhile answers “I am not sure, the one that knocked you out was is niece, I had told Scarface to slay them, but when I went to check on him he was dead. I do not think either of those badgers did it..another helped them.”

Zurrgg growls and takes a deep breath as he looks at the sleeping cub and smirks “No matter. The cub doesn’t need to know they may still live. Lies are always good to strengthen one. “And he is oh so good at lying and making it sound so very true.

Krystal eeps loudly as she is grabbed and panic sets in, “Let me go!’

The fox comes in, with him is a squirrel maid, “Look want I got boss, found her in the woods can we keep her as a slave?” He holds a spear in the one paw and the squirrel maid by one paw.

Krystal struggled and kicked, “I would never be a slave to you!” She bites the fox’s paw and tries to get loose.

Ripfang starts to answer and then hisses low at the squirrel maid.

The fox yelps and shakes his paw as he lets go of the squirrel, “She bite me” He whines.

Krystal falls and twists her ankle, then quickly gets up limping some, she looks back over her shoulder “I am going to tell beasts where you are, you can’t keep a dibbun as a slave!” She then quickly heads to a tree.

Zurrgg growls and even though he has a headache he still grabs the spear from the fox and throws it at the fleeing squirrel maid knowing she can’t get too far and his rage makes his throw stronger.

Ripfang simply watches.

Krystal makes it to the base of the tree and stops, a brief look of pain cross her face and then she slumps sideways, the spear deep in her back. The squirrel maid feels tears go down her face and after a short while she has died.

The fox blinks and watches, he grins ”Hee that will show them woodlanders,huh boss. She one dead beast”

Zurrgg draws one of his twin blades as he looks at the fox “Guess who else is one dead beast…she could of gotten away to tell the abbey where we are” He slits the fox’s throat and lets him fall to the ground to die, he looks to the 2 weasels and 2 rats, then Ripfang ”Get the badger cub we have a long walk ahead of us and its always best to travel by nightfall.” He then walks on ahead of them, he knows they will do as he says.” We will be back after some time, sides I have a weapon to train” He smirks,”We will leave Mossflower and see whats left come Autumn maybe.”

Ripfang bows and gets the badger cub and follows his master. He also makes sure the other 4 beasts follow as well.
