I've decided to open up the job of Spam Hunter to those who have been doing most of the work of seeing and reporting spam on the website: you, the players.

Those who volunteer will be granted moderation powers on website content. I will provide a primer on how to use them once we've selected people for the task.

Here are the ground rules:

- You must be a player in good standing on the MUCK - I'll be checking with Otter

- I don't have a technical way to control what the moderator privileges can be used on and they could, in practice, be used on other content. You are on the honor system to only use them on actual spam. This is not a full-blown moderator job: any other rules a person might be breaking are to be delt with by Otter and anyone he has designated.

- Wizpolicy and any policies that apply to helpers on the MUCK also apply here. If you abuse your mod privileges, you will lose both your privileges and access to this site. I can't speak for Otter, but in the past he has actively banished such people from the MUCK as well. So be on your best behavior.

So if that hasn't scared you off, apply below!
