Hello all again!

I had some free time and decided to hammer out an idea to track a characters vitality, their health over the IC years.

I also came up with a Trama O Meter as well to track how much hurt your character takes during battles. Just in case people ever wonder, 'Would my character really be able to keep on standing after being hit in the face by a battle ax.' :)

TRAMA:

Roll a 6, 8 or 12 sided dice depending on the severity of the wound your character just received. Times the number you roll by 2. Add it to the total trama points you already have.

Trama:

0-5 =Nothing

6-10=Moderate

11-16=Great

17-25=Severe

25+ =Deadly

After the battle scene is completed reduce each wound by half and add up the total. Those are the lingering effects of taking an arrow to the knee, getting stabbed, stubbing your toe, etc etc. After they are resolved (healed) remove them all to gether.

And now on to the meat and potatos of the post. You're characters vitality.

VITALITY:

The process is similar to trama but with more perminant effects.

There are two types of wounds that effect a characters vitality, current and old.

For each signifigant wound, injury, desease, general affliction or even old age and poor health choices, roll one 6, 8, or 12 sided dice depending on how severe you believe the injury is.

If the injury is currently still active and effecting your characters then you add that number to your vitality. If it's old or when a current injury is healed, then devide it by half, rounding down.

Total Vitality Score:

0-10 Excellent

10-20 Good

20-40 Fiar (average)

40-50 Poor

50+ =BAD

You might notice some over lap. That's fine because players are allowed to play out their characters health as they wish. A character in poor health might just be scared up while another might be close to death. It's up to you. If you feel that a wound should automatically do x amount of damage feel free to add that number to what ever you roll.

EXAMPLE TIME!

Bandit: 29 Fair health.

Current:

Wieght (d12 + 5) : 13

Diet (d6 + 4) : 5

Old: (already divided by half)

Defending Redwall, twice. (d12) : 4

Captured by slavers (d6) : 2

Captured by Slade (d6) : 2

Various injuries (d6) : 2

Ex Pirate (d6) : 0

And viola! Bandits official health is fair! If nothing else remembering all the adventures Bandit has been on has been fun :3
