RW Abbey: Infirmary
Several beds are lined against the red sandstone walls of the Abbey's Infirmary. An examination table, separated from the rest of the room by hanging blankets, rests against the far wall. Tucked into a small alcove is a sizeable workbench with various containers for mixing and preparing medicinal compounds. Against another wall is a desk for use by the Infirmary Keeper. A curtained off alcove behind the desk hides a locked door to the Infirmary's supplies and linens.

Leon is checking supplies in the infirm and is glad things have been quiet lately. He knows of the hare maid that’s here, he has yet to see her , and the only other beast here is an otter that decided to anger a hedgehog and now has a bandaged paw cause of a quill that was taken out "Next time...don't try and slap a hedgehog..anywhere really" He frowns as the otter nods and walks out of the infirm and to the open ground.
Kiara has been awake and still laid down on a cot, she gets up slowly and looks around having been tried and even falling asleep mid talk with an abbey beast last night. She glances over at the mouse but says nothing just yet.
Leon finishes checking a couple more things and walks over to the hare maid, "Hello I am Brother Leon, Master Healer here at the abbey. I was told by a novice we had a visitor and that you were checked on by Angela." Of course Leon will check vitals anyways to make sure all is well.
Kiara lets him check on her, her pulse and breathing is normal and she seems fairly healthy, maybe a little thin but not that much as she makes up for with strong arm and leg muscles. After he finishes she studies his face “You....were there but a novice and..." She looks at the floor, no don't try to remember too much, it’s not a good thing to remember the last time she seen him and the others so many seasons ago.
Leon blinks, "I was where? And if it was when I was a novice that would of been a while ago"
Kiara ears droop "The cell...with the kitten and..Papa Oz was there and....the white cloaked fox with..."She swallows and whimpers "Black birds and ...monitors and the..tu...tu...tunnel" She stutters now as a not so great memory starts to flood back, it’s not great how some things trigger others, like when last seen someone and being home, though this didn’t happen here...no elsewhere.
Leon frowns, he remembers her now and he surely remembers being in that cell. “Your Kiara...a LP hare..." Course all he knows is she was dragged away and they never seen her again, she was thought dead even after a couple seasons.
Zee wanders into the infirm, his shoulder is bothering him and this seems the best place to find something to help it feel better, "Ello?"
And that triggers something else, well not his fault really as she whimpers remembering the fight, the woods ...her patrol..."Nooo....all dead...and all gone and...the fox..cell...his monitors and b...birds killed them.." She backs up into Zee and jumps slightly as she has her little mental breakdown, heck you be a bit out of it too if you went through that, so fresh in her mind even if it was ages ago and she is not totally in the abbey in her mind she is reliving that day and her mind thinks Zee is Oz..what fun as she goes to grab onto him and sob "I..I don't wanna be here..we need to..home"
Leon frowns, this is far from a good thing as he quickly looks in his mini pockets, he catches sight of Zee..."Zee..don't let her leave the infirm, I..I gotta make something real quick" Something to help her sleep, then they can figure it out after wards, how to explain "Just....just keep her inside here, she is having some sort of bad memory recall" He finds what he needs and gets warm water and starts mixing, and debating on if he needs someone to watch her after this.
Zee blinks as he listens to the healer and looks to the hare maid "Tis ok lass..your safe here" He goes to wrap his arms around her and try to led her back to a cot. carry her even if he needs to do that. He looks at Leon as if to ask what is going on or what happen.
As she is pushed back to the cots she panics a little "Nooooo he will come back, he's coming to take us away...all away....noooo!" Kiara kicks out at the badger and then sniffs and allows him to pick her up as she hides her face in his chest "Not like this cell....Papa Oz wanna home...home" She is that teen again, that recruit of the LP..why did she leave to join them anyways...oh yeah she was upset at her father so she ran away from home to join the LP and her first mission as a private was also her last as she shivers and hic ups, "T....Too. Many...fight. Can’t fight..."
Leon is in his healer mod so he doesn’t answer, he then walks over and hands Zee the mixture "Get her to drink it, it will cause her to sleep, for a few hours and then we need someone to watch her..weather that’s in here or elsewhere I don’t know where is best"
Zee takes the vile and blinks "Oz?....I'm...."He decides to go with it, saying he isn't could make it worse after all, he sighs and places the vile on her lips "Drink lass..ya safe now I gots ya lass" He might sort of look like oz..but with a goatee and much older as he is his uncle after all, and he still has a careing and protective nature, he looks at Leon confused by this.
Kiara coughs as she drinks the mixture and shivers, she mutters words of cell--fox----monitors before slipping into a dreamless sleep in the badger’s arms.
Leon watches the hare before he looks around the room "For now place her on the cot, she will be out for a few hours and that gives me time to figure out what to do, how to help her." He checks the hare over and shakes his head “This is unreal, I mean she is alive and we thought her dead as she was never found."
Zee crosses his arms "Who is the lass? Wot she talking about and how does she know Ozzy...wots goin' on." He thinks "Zurrgg...well Kolur now...troops or something?"
Leon shakes his head "No...this was seasons ago when a fox named Stormfeather was around, he was killed but that’s what she is remembering. Me and her, along with Oz and Blisa were captives at the time, this Stormfeather caused a lot of problems and was most likely worse than Kolur is, this had a flock of ravens and crows and hundreds of monitors as his personal army, it was luck that the good side even won that day. And he used those beasts before he was defeated to kill a patrol of like 20 hares, she and another, who is at the Mountain named Fentor..or something like that, and the y were the only 2 that survived that attacked."
Zee frowns as he listens "Yeah Kolur has like 250 or so like weasels and rats and such, he had a couple lizards but they got slayed...Kolur is still out thar ya know and could come to the gates at any time since he declared war, but enough on that..wot ta do with de lass, especially if trouble shows up it could trigger something with her and make whats going on worse..least fer de lass"
Leon says, "I know...we keep her in the infirm and I am not worried Kolur and his horse will get inside, they will be stopped before that happens" Least he hopes so."
Kiara groans in her dreamless sleep, yeah she is in sleep land for a good few hours.
Zee looks at the hare maid and back to Leon "Well I for one am going to join the defense if Kolur shows...or rather when Kolur shows his ugly face. He has caused to much trouble and we can let it go on"
Leon nods "I know and I am ready for any injuries." He studies the hare maid "I just need to figure out where to have Kiara be, if she wakes up and slips into some memory again she could get hurt, or hurt others in her state of mind, she might not mean to but she could."
Zee nods "Well, maybe ask Benar wot ta do, or maybe she could stay close ta someone she knows better...maybe."
Leon nods, "And Zee....be careful if you’re going to be in a fight, you may want to think of retirement before too long, your shoulder for one and age.....Zork was old when he..stepped down Blacksmith, and your what 15 or so seasons older than him?"
Zee frowns "I retire when I go ta de dark forest" He then goes to head out "I will be on de wall tops, with me blade....."
Leon frowns as the badger heads out, he sits down and just decides to get some rest, may as well and he can take a nap in the infirm if he wants to, it’s his infirm after all.
