--Jedrick has arrived home in Halyard with his new servant-

Western Shore

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Shore ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You seem to be truly in the middle of nowhere. The beach is like that you'd expect to see in a dream. Miles of saffron sand stretch to the north and south. The only sign of life is a very faint and distant wisp of smoke over the southern horizon. There is little sound, only the roar of the ivory crested waves as they crash onto the shoreline just to the west. This place looks almost as if a timeless, long forgotten stretch of beach. Though, even so, there seems to be a well-trodden path to the east...
Jedrick grinned as he looked at the shore, he turned to the badger “We get off here, come now” He proceeds to get off onto the shore.
Xander frowns and gets off the boat and stands beside the wildcat quietly not saying anything and staying quiet.
Jedrick nods and looks to the fox and rat “Ok, get rid of the boat.” He says calmly as the two salutes and takes the boat further into the waters and with torches light it a flame and quickly jump out. The boat quickly burns and sinks below the water and to the water’s bottom as the rat soon finds he can’t swim and drowns, the fox manages to make it to shore and awaits orders.
Xander frowns but waits to see what will happen, where they will go, he looks towards a mountain he knows fairly well and sighs, he also looks to the village path, he has been there once as well.
Jedrick walks up and lays a paw on the foxes shoulder “Good job, sadly I don’t trust you to be…quiet..oh wait a moment.”
A look of shock, a gasp is heard as a hidden dagger is in the wildcat’s sleeve, blood drips from the neck wound and the mouth of the fox who tries to reach out and falls backwards into the oncoming tide…dead.
Xander eyes widen as he whimpers slightly and looks ready to bolt if needed.
Jedrick smiles, “Ahh yes now I trust your keep your word as dead beasts tell no tales.” He turns to Xander as he wipes off the dagger and places it into his pocket” No worries you’re not dyeing, your just fine. Long as you obey me”
Xander quickly nods “Yes sir” He says and keeps eye contact. “Why did you..kill them sir?”
Jedrick decides to answer, “You see Xander sometimes it’s the only way to protect one or make sure things are not found out. They were temporary help after all, not permit and I do not need a gang, let us go to our home”
Xander frowns but he stays close and adjusts his cloak to hide his ID as they walk down the path to the village.
--A home in Halyard--
Jedrick walks inside the home and nods to Xander as he points to a bedroom “This is your room” It’s a simple room with a bed. A bed that’s soft and a good size, covers and a sheet, even a couple pillows. A desk and chair and chest for belongings and a small table with a wash basin.
Xander peeks in and looks surprised, he looks to the wildcat “F..For me, but I don’t understand?”
Jedrick answers “My servant will have his own room, I have my own room and we have a training area in the back or on the beach in the evening. Have you not ever had your ow room before?”
Xander shakes his head “Not on my own, at the abbey I was with other dibbuns or mom, at the mountain I was with mom, and…before with my birth mom or father”
Jedrick nods “Well, I see then. You have your own room now and have free time oh and there is no window in there and the only way out is the door, not that you would try to leave I am sure. I have friends in the village whom I would tell to hunt you down and end your life, its simple really. Now you’re up early and to bed before dark unless you’re with me. I set times for wake and sleep hours, as well as when meals are and times for free time. Free time is earned though as training is first, exercise and chores, for now you are to go to bed. I expect you to be up and ready when I knock or if you’re not to get up and standing alert by the bed. Your make sure the bed is neat and tidy each day when you wake. As for the….hermit crab it is to stay in the container at all times unless I say it’s ok for it to not be in there…understood?”
Xander nods as he listens carefully “Yes sir, or course sir. I will obey”
Jedrick nods “Good now go to bed”
Xander nods and heads into his room and right away lays down on the bed, it’s been a long trip and he is tried.
Jedrick does check on the badger a couple times to make sure they are sleeping before he himself goes to bed for the night, the next day the badgers training begins.
