There be monsters here... part 2

There be snakes here.

The day light comes early over mossflower. Somewhere in the great woods. A creature stirs from her slumber. Very slowly the viper uncoils her self and stretches in her den. She lazily moves out of the den and sighs when she sees the sun up above. Its a sigh of relief. THe sun, natures coffee for reptiles. The green scaled adder stretches out over a large rock and hisses in contentment. Her stomach is still rather full after pigging out on those wood pigeons a few days ago and the heat on her back feels so-o-o good. She is in bliss at the moment

Soon after the adder awakens, a similarly sized snake slithers from the den, his muscles flexing under his bright red scales as he slides along towards his companion. "Good morning, Tulip, " He hisses, stretching himself out on the ground beside the rock.

Aglaeca hisses, very much entertained by the fox that looks entirely too miserable, but that was usually how he liked his victims.

The miserable looking vulpine cautiously slides over to the snakes, placing the food on the ground, "I...I did what you asked. I had to steal from a camp of rats down south but, I brought you some food." Crosby gulps as the adder grins at him. He also gulps at the second snake, fully aware of how well the his previous employer fared. Tulip chuckles as she moves down off the rock, "You did well Mr. Foxy. I'm ssstill full from yesterday."

"T-then why did you have me-" The fox yelps as the snake coils around him. Resting her head on his she laughs, "We can't have Mr. Foxy ssstarve now can we? Jussst look at you, all fur and bonesss."

Aglaeca nods slowly, his black eyes seeming to stare through the fox. "And if we deicide that you have outlive your usssefulnesss to ussss, we would like to have sssssomething to digessst," He adds with a rather devious hint to his tone.

"Ah...quit ssscarying my foxy!" Tulip giggles. she begins to rock back and forth, "Thiss iss my foxy. I ssshall name him foxy, and love him and sssqueeze him and call him George." The snakes grib on the vulpine begins to tighten as Tulips eyes flair with a dangerous light, "And if he ever betrayssss me I'll crusssh him into dussst and make him wish he wasss never born!" Crosby begins to call out, "h-help...can't... breath..."

Aglaeca simply watches with an amused expression as Tulip toys with the fox. "But why couldn't we eat thisss foxy...he looksss ssso tasssty.." The snake begins to coil around Tulip, letting his head remain close to the fox.

The fox makes a terrified yelp with two snakes closing in to eat him. Tulip bats the other snake on the nose with her tail, "Away with you. Get your own foxy." Losening her grip on the vulpine Cosby shouts, "Ohpleaseohpleasedon'teatme!" He gulps, think fast Crosby, "C-cause if you let me live I can bring you more food! And...and I would be a lot tastier later on if I fail to do so!" At this point the fox would sell his own tail to get away from them...or find a place they couldn't track him.
