The hedgehog is GONE

Blisa the kitten; Anise the ferret

Anise knocks on the door and waits on any respose there might be, he pushs his glasses back up on his nose and waits.

Blisa jumps and looks up from her drawing. "Who is it?" she calls, really not wanting to be disturbed.

Anise frowns, "It is just me child, errr..where is Scioto at I need to speak to him."

Blisa glares at the door. "Who's 'me'?"

Anise answers, "Anise, is it a crime to be here, already have had a bad past few days"

Blisa frowns, fumes, growls, and stomps over to the door. Throwing it open, the kitten has to tilt her head back to look the ferret in the eye (but that's pretty normal). "No, it's not a crime. Daddy's not here. I'm afraid I don't know where he is...if I did, I'd be with him. Can I help you?"

Anise mutters, "Rude little girl" he says quiety and then clears his throat," Its about Shaz...he is upset as I changed my mind on a job gave him and demands my pay, I refused, and he tried to make me fall in the River Moss."

Blisa blinks. "Who's Shaz, and why'd you change your mind about hiring him? That's kind of a silly reason to try and drown somebeast."

Anise says, "I wanted him to kill someone, the decided make me just like him and Shaz is a rat, a assassin lives around here somewhere."

Blisa 'ah's and nods. "And he got mad. I understand now. Want some tea? Daddy might come back in a few minutes."

Anise nods and sits down, he smiles faintly as he does so," I believe I did the right thing...a hedgehog was the cause of the problem..I gave the hedgehog gold to leave the area and not return, hopfully he wont"

Blisa listens as she scurries into the kitchen. She has to climb on the drawers to reach the various things she needs (and so breaks about 3 rules), places the things in a wagon, and trundles it into the main room. Pouring tea into 2 cups, she hands one to Anise and asks, "Why did you want the hedgehog to leave?"

Anise frowns "At first I wanted him dead, he...he killed my mate,Tabatha...said because she was a vermin, so he killed her and she had not attcked him,..then got to thinking after Shaz found him and brought him to me....just send him away, if Hedgehog returns...well...Shaz will most likely slay him"

Blisa frowns. "I'm sorry. Vladmir Stormfeather killed my Momma and baby brother and kept prisoner and tortured me. He's dead now, which makes me happy. Why don't you want the hedgehog dead?"

Anise answers, "It would make me just like him, a killer...maybe he will learn life is valuable as I let him live and gave him a 2nd chance, I hope you grow wise young one, and gain wisdom to make right and fair decisions in life, you never know...you may be leader here one day."

Blisa looks troubled at that. "Whadaya mean, wise? I won't be leader...Daddy can't die. He's my only family now."

Anise says, "I didnt mean any time soon and..wise, meaning knowing good judgement, get along with woodlander and verrmin best you can"
