Silver walks down the stairs, he stops when he sees the abbot and blinks."Wot are you doing?"

Honeyfern walks down the stairs and into the great hall, she stops and blinks "Umm, everythin galright here then,wot?"

Silver looks at honeyfern and laughs."Thats wot I said!"

Lorimis turns withhis paws curled against his chest and hops over "Wrong? why should anything be wrong?

Silver laughs."Why are you jumping around like that anyway?"

Lorimis smiles "well the dibbuns do it, it's quite fun actually...come hop with me SIlver

Lorimis says, "Hello honeyfern..care to go for a hop with me?"

Honeyfern shrugs "Just been intresting last few days is all...then I been resting alot hopfully didnt miss anything too major"

Silver hmms."I thinks i will stick with walking for now..."

Lorimis asks, "What made it interesting Mrs Honeyfern?"

Silver looks at honeyfern."You have not missed much!"

Lorimis says, "I understand that Flicky was impressed by your teeth, Silver"

Honeyfern nods and sits down, she smiles "I dont think I should hop when with child "

Silver laughs."YEs he was."

Lorimis says, "Perhaps when your children arrive they will want to hop with me"

Honeyfern smiles "not for a while after they are born and not born any time too soon yet" she sighs some "Still dont know someome elses feelings on the whole...newborns around matter"

Lorimis asks, "do the Dibbuns move now Honeyfern?"

Honeyfern shakes her head "Not yet, least that I can tell..maybe soon, I can let you know, I just hope there isnt too much a problem with thier soon to be older sister, she seems to have avoided me lately"

Silver sighs."Kiara will get to like them..."

Lorimis says, "When they begin to move I hope I mat be allowed to feel that Honeyfur"

Biff arrives from the Staircase..

Silver laughs."You are so odd father abbot!"

Honeyfern smiles "Sure"

Lorimis hopes about the great hall chuckling

Honeyfern smiles as she looks around and back to them "Guess summer will be here soon enough and then fall again"

Lorimis says, "and we shall have dibbuns allover the place"

Silver laughs."Well i hope fall does not get here soon, cause after fall is winter!"

Biff walks down the stairs, she has ryan and lacey with her."Hello everyone!"

Oz arrives from the Staircase..

Biff smiles ands sits down with the two dibbuns."Hello silver, how are you doing?"

Silver smiles."I am doing good, how about you?"

Biff laughs."You know i am doing good...the dibbuns have been quite so that helps!"

Lorimis asks, "Biff would your Dibbuns like to bunny hop with me?"

Oz has left.

Biff laughs."They are a bit small to be walking or even jumping!"

Silver laughs."Yes...the abbot seems to have his heart set on haveing some one jump with him!"

Biff lets the abbot takes her paw and laughs."Yes, lets!"

Lorimis begins hop hop hopping humming the tuento :munny hop" making sure the last 3 steps are 3 hops

Biff smiles and hops with the abbot.

Lorimis makes it into a dance he does with the young hare doe

Silver watches the two hop and laughs.

Biff laughs as she hops with the abbot."This is rather fun!"

Lorimis exclaims, "aye! the Dibbunsshowed me" he pants HOP HOP HOP"

Biff laughs."Well those dibbuns know how to have fun!"

Lorimis exclaims, "Silver doesn't know what he's missing!"

Lorimis says, "don't forget to flickyer Scut Biff" he smiles"

Biff laughs and gives a flick with her scut."How was that?"

Silver shrugs."I have never been able to jump very well anyway...I will just keep an eye on the dibbuns."

Lorimis smiles but flicks his whip like tail backand fourth 'can't stop wi jus one flick there biff...gotta flick flick flick

Biff laughs and flicks her scut along with the abbot."I can do that!"

Lorimis bunny hops all around the great hall with Biff thill they are out of breath

Biff laughs as she catches her breath."Well...that was fun!'

Lorimis smiles and pours raspberry cordial for all around

Silver laughs."I did not think you two would be hoping that long!"

Biff smiles and takes some cordial."Thanks!"

Lorimis says, "well it is that much fun...one would think a hare would know that" he chuckles"

Biff laughs."Well you were calling it a bunny hop not a hare hop!"

Lorimis says, "the Dibbuns named it"

Biff smiles."So how have you been abbot?"

Lorimis pants "I have been very very pleased, we even have a new novice, I hope you will help us train him

Silver smiles."You two should have had the dibbuns hop with you!"

Lorimis says, "I did ask"

Biff smiles."I will help anyway I can, but wot help would I be?"

Silver laughs."YOu only ask the newborns!"

Lorimis says, "nay all can join, I asked you Silver"

Silver nods."That is true..."

Biff hmms."So who is the new novice?"

Lorimis says, "Gupthie"

Biff smiles."Ah so gup wanted to join the order, well good for him!"

Lorimis asks, "will you help himBiff?"

Biff asks."How will I be any help?"

Silver smiles and watches the two.

Lorimis says, "well educating him and havinghim do Novice stuff"

Biff hmms."But I am not a novice...how would I teach him?"

Lorimis says, "you are a resident, he hastolearn to care for dibbuns, to serve, there is muchyou can teachhim, you can even teachhim to bunny hop\"

Biff nods."Well I can try!"

Silver smiles."I will help also if i am needed!"

Lorimis says, "You really need to hold yoru ears up more Biff, yoru so pretty when your ears are up"

Biff hmms."But than i would have to get rid of my hat...."

Lorimis says, "Anyone can have a hat only you can havethose beautiful ears"

Biff frowns some."Well I like my hat..."

Lorimis says, "well you can still keep the hat"

Silver smiles."Aye the abbot is right, you dont need to have your hat on ALL the time."

Biff sighs."I guess I dont need to have my hat on all the time if you two dont want me to."

Lorimis says, "It is ok Biff..do what You want, it IS a lovely hat"

Biff shakes her head."No its ok...I guess I can give the hat a break."

Lorimis says, "only ifyoru sure Biff, your smiles is prettier thene ven your ears...I woudlike a closer look at your beautiful hat"

Biff smiles and hands the hat over to the abbot."Take a look if you want."

Biff shrugs."I dont konw...maybe...like I said she gave it to me long ago!"

Lorimis says, "you must love your grandmother very much"

Biff nods."Yes...I it has been many season since i seen her...and I dont think I will ever get to see her again..."

( A lanky old hare appears silouetted in the doorway. He pauses akwardly at the assemblage of beasts in the hall, then raises his voice. "I don't mean to intrude, but..." The hare has a rusty old saber strapped across his back, and he's dressed in a patched blue military coat with several large pockets. He's wearing a battered old tricorn hat as well. )

Silver smiles as the old hare walks in and says."Well hello sir!"

( a Young brother approaches "If you please Grandmother, all weapons must be left at thegate house....I can take itthere for you, it will be quite safe )

The hare whirls on the brother. "Pshaw! Have you no blinkin' eyes? Callin' me Granny, wot?! You ought to be jailed fer insubordination! Cann't you see I'm no old mother hare?!"

Biff laughs as the hare is called a greadmother...

My appologies young Gel...then please let metake your weaon..it is justthe rules here..surelyyou would not wish to upset harmony

The hare positively shakes with rage. His ears stand up stiff and straight. "GET OUT OF MY BLINKIN' SIGHT! IF YOU CALL ME A GEL ONE MORE TIME I'LL SKEWER YOU WITH THIS BLINKIN' SABER, WOT? CAN'T YOU SEE THAT I'M NOT A GIRL?!"

The hare pulls out the saber and whirls it threateningly above his head. It's very rusty.

Silver hmms as he watches the two...

Aye marm" he seems unphaes and simply waits "please...

The hare's ears stand up even straighter. He points the saber at the brother. "FOR THE LAST TIME! I AM NOT A GIRL, MARM, OR ANYTHING! YOU WILL CALL ME 'SIR' OR I'LL HAVE YOU IN DEEP TROUBLE FOR BLINKIN' INSULTING A SENIOR OFFICER, WOT?!"

Biff sighs and says."Will you two dibbusn stop fighting?!?"

The hare whirls on Biff. "Did you just call me a blinkin' DIBBUN?! Have you no SENSE? Can't you SEE?!?!" He's shaking all over with rage, and the saber point trembles.

the Brother blink blinks and Blushes "Um..Apologies sir..my glasses broke the other day and I have not yet had them replaced....

The hare calms down somewhat but remains angry at Biff.

I hate to be a pain sir, but no weapos is our number 1 rule...It would really help me if you could let me take itto the gatehouse...otherwise I am affraid i will get harmed

Biff shrugs."Well you are acting like a dibbun so you must think you are a dibbun!"

The hare's ears stand up even straighter than ever, if that were possible. "Fine! Take your blinkin' hides to the Hellgates for all I care. I'm not givin' you no notes from the Badger-lord, no, sah! Bye bye, sahs!" He storms out, waving his sabre.

Selia room-pages, "I'm done for now...".

Biff blinks as the hare stroms out."Well that as odd..."

Lorimis says, "Lots of odd beasts true"

Silver nods."Aye he seemed to be rather upset!"

( A young Sister of Redwall tugs at Lorimis' sleeve. "Abbot Lorimis... I found this on the floor, I think the hare dropped it." She presses a parchment into Lorimis' hand. )

Lorimis adjusts his glasses to read

Lorimis says, "hank you m'dear"

The sister backs away, slightly in awe of the Abbot. "You're... very welcome," she stammers.

The note is written in a cryptic, stilted hand...

Lorimis asks, "Can you read this Biff?"

Biff shrugs."I bet i could read it!

Lorimis says, "seems like some badger lord is sending Badger speak"

Silver laughs."Well have oz read it if its for a badger!"

Lorimis reads it out loud to all

The contents of the note go thusly...

"Over the seas and beyond the waves, a great, dark island sits."

"Upon its throne sits Death alone, a dangerous trick, and hits."

"Upon it's shore sit countless ships, torn by the furious gale..."

"To this place sad you would be mad if there you sought to go."

There is a footnote in another hand. "I have tried for years to find this place, but to no avail. I am not sure it even exists."

Here the note ends.

Silver hmms."Well that is a rather odd note!"

Lorimis says, "hmmm I agree...pehaps some of our beasts can unraverl the mysteries..."

The Sister nods. "Indeed..."
