The Long Patrol: Looking for new leadership!

I'd like to conduct a bit of an experiment, so to speak, so let's see if I can't get some help with it...

I'd like to throw open the leadership of the Long Patrol. What I'd like is some volunteers who wish to dabble at group leadership.

This is how it will work:

1. For one month you will be given leadership of the Long Patrol and the LP hares within it. During that month, your character will be given the rank of "acting major."

2. Your privileges (and/or responsibilities, depending how you look at it) during your month of leadership will include 1) organizing and running TPs, with as much or as little assistance as you want, 2) encouraging RP, and 3) inviting new members into the group.

3. I will assign the months and post them on the forum. During your "off" months, your character will be given the rank of lieutenant and you are welcome to assist the acting major during those times. I also hope that you would continue to encourage RP within the group.

And as for what happens down the road... well, that will depend on how the experiment turns out! You may reply here or send me a page mail as Zoe_lang on the MUCK.
