The Final Battle For The Abbey!! PART 1 (Marek's Revenge TP)

From Redwall MUCK Wiki

---Starts in the woods somewhere---

Anomen sits off to one of the corners of the camp site, it seems he has been avoiding most beasts today, weather its cause he was gone since yesterday afternoon or other reasons. Anyone can tell he looks..well different. He still has his armor and sword at his side and then the difference happens. He has a rainbow shell necklace on, a feathered headband of white and grey feathers and some on his tail too and war paint on his face.

Lacota wanders out of a nearby tent and then stops dead in his tracks. He just... sort of stares at the other squirrel. "Anomen? Are you... going tribal on us?"

Benar is standing near the center of the Long Patrol encampment, outside Lord Sebastian's command tent. The grey squirrel has changed out of the loose trousers and shirt he has worn for their journey back from the mountain and is dressed once more in the robes and vestments of a Redwall Elder. His brown habit and purple vestment make him stand out from the hares in patrol uniforms. He is leaning on a very tall staff and looking pensively out at the woods.

Anomen looks over at Lacota, he stands and walks over "Umm..long story. I sort of became leader of the Gawtrybe."

Lacota nods slowly. "So I... see. I suppose it makes sense, especially if you are marrying Treesong. I might come visit you sometimes to see how living in the wild is."

Anomen frowns a little "About that, this is temporary as I most likely will need to return to the abbey. I think I will be telling Ekon I can't do this..I mean I can help for a short while then..." He shrugs "Treesong needs to stay with her tribe and..I.." He sighs as he looks down "I can’t stay with her and take her from the ...well her home"

Lacota shakes his head. "Lad, don't you see? It's your destiny. She loves you. You love her. You're the leader. Don't let this opportunity slip through your grasp, Anomen. You'll regret it. Follow your heart."

Benar turns to regard Anomen and smiles, "Congratulations Anomen... .I think... not sure the feathers quite suit you" he then smiles and walks over, "And Friar Lakota speaks the truth, clearly this is meant to be."

Anomen looks between them "But I am a guard at the abbey, what would Lorimis think if I left to go off into the woods to live?"

Benar says, "He'd shake your hand and wish you all the best. Once the Abbey is free Anomen it is clear your loyalty must lie with your new tribe. You cannot insult then and Treesong. You would not be the first Guard to leave to live elsewhere.""

Lacota chuckles. "Listen, lad, I would call it an honor to be the leader."

Anomen listens and then speaks "But, what if someone thought I was abandoning the abbey beasts? And yes the tribe is helping us now. There is 22 in the tribe not counting me and 20 of those can fight and they have a healer among them as well, you may not see them well least right away but they like that as they tend to stay in the trees and use longbows, they will also use stone axes and daggers on the ground once they are out of the trees. So you think I should stay their leader?"

Benar says, "Yes Anomen, you should stay their leader and none will think you are abandoning the abbey. This journey has changed all of us. If anyone tries to say you are abandoning us I will put them right as will Lorimis."

Lacota says, "Aye, as will I."

Anomen smiles, "Thank you. I hope no one thinks I am abandoning anyone as I would never do that and the tribe can still be allies to the abbey."

Lacota says, "You need to tell Lee, though. As your old boss. He ought to understand, though."

Benar says, "Yes Lee needs to be told but that can wait until after the Abbey is liberated."

Anomen folds his arms over his chest as he nods "I have not seen him yet, I mean I may of at one time before I had to help save the tribe from Alvar, but I was sort of out of it then and Alvar will no longer be a problem now and yes I will tell Lee..after the abbey is free again."

Barley is nearby by but is busy looking over a pack he has some herbs and healing items in.

Lacota smiles. "Congratulations, Lad. And like I said, I plan to visit the tribe in the future. Pay you and Treesong a visit."

Benar says, "Then we should try to focus on the deeds at hand for now, to make sure we are all ready to help the abbey in our own way."

Barley closes his pack and walks over "Hallo chaps, I shall be joining you all, wot..as one of the healers tending to the wounded and all that"

Anomen says, "Healers will for sure be needed "

Lacota nods. "Aye, we must take our home back."

---An hour Later—

RW Abbey: Main Gate

You are at the main entrance into Redwall Abbey. The gates are a a massive, double-doored wooden affair, reinforced with iron, and with a heavy latch and crossbar on the inside to prevent would-be invaders. While the gates almost always stand open, you get the impression that the builder of this portal designed it to be nigh impregnable. The entrance arch is amazingly thick, denoting the strength and thickness of the ancient walls themselves, which, despite the upheavals of the past, and numerous cracks present in the rose colored stone, still stand tall and strong. Uncountable pawprints can be seen in the dirt, leading both in and out of the Abbey. Along the bottom of the wall on either side of the arch, weeds and wildflowers can be seen in plenty.

Shadows are lengthening, and you can see the sun falling over the western grasslands. The Abbey walls are a blaze of crimson in the dying light.--------------------------------------------------------------------Are you a newcomer to Redwall? Exits: [Enter] the abbey, [R]ight Along [W]all, [L]eft Along [W]all, [R]oad

Marek's guards sit on the wall and stand in shock as they hear trumpets, the Long Patrol approaching with the badger lord leading them. Archers seem to be futile, not putting a dent in the beats, but that doesn't mean they won't try. One goes and gets Marek, who growls at the approaching forces

The Hares of the Long Patrol are marching proudly in ranks at the center of the approaching force. The smaller forces of the Mossflower Irregulars, local woodlanders who have come to help are a less well organized force but still marching. They have been placed between the forces of Lord Sebastian and the Ferravale warriors just to avoid any accidents or misunderstandings. The banners being flown at the head of the Long Patrol force and the Mossflower irregulars are quite tall and clearly visible... the rising sun behind the Mountain of Salamandastron and the Banner of Redwall itself being carried by Elder Benar, the belltower and Martin the Warrior a standard that has drawn beasts from across Mossflower to follow it to liberate the home of peace from the forces of Marek and his verminous ways. Drums beat, trumpets blare and it won't be long before they are ready to strike at the abbey itself.

Anomen has followed his friends to get the abbey back, being leader of the Gawtrybe he sticks to the trees alongside his clan beasts. Some archers and fighters with ax and daggers. They have fairly good armor on and look ready to fight.

The Ferravale forces march proudly as well, a shield wall formed by the first few ranks of troops, a deadly phalanx powering over the land towards the Abbey. Archers in the center of the formation return fire with somewhat greater accuracy than the defenders on the wall tops, sling stones and javelins flying as well. Nightbreath marches as a rank-and-file soldier in the front rank, his blade rope still coiled at his side but ready to snake out at a moment's notice, his shield locked with those of his brothers-in-arms.

Treesong stays close to Anomen as she looks around at the friends and takes a look at the foes as well and her ears go back a little, but she is as ready as she is going to be to fight today.

Meanwhile in the Abbey... The seemingly peaceful morning is suddenly and rudely disturbed by the Matthias and Methuselah bells rings. BONG-BONG-BONG-BONG. The noise reverberates throughout the Abbey, unable to be ignored. The bells toll across the countryside. BONG-BONG-BONG. That oughta wake Marek...

Barley is one of the healers; nearby him is a mouse in the robes of an abbey brother and also a healer.

Marek holds his ears at the sound of the bells. "Accursed bells, are unnecessary you simpletons!" He steps down from the wall and prepares for if they get through, with forces of his own, for the gates have not been fully repaired yet

Near Ferravale's warriors marches a group of eight beasts, six of which are wearing full plate-mail and have an assortment of weapons ranging from pikes and shields to a squirrel wielding a ball and chain. At the forefront of these fighters, John stands with small rat by his side. Both are wearing mail hauberks. Hearing the bell, John mutters to Rutsnout, "Well, Ah guess now All o' 'ellogates will break lose."

Scioto ears perk at the sound of the bells, he is near the entry of the abbey when he hears them and slowly goes to make his way towards the entry carefully, he listens to any other sounds.

The Long Patrol army is in position and with a single shouted command they shift ranks, flowing out to surround the irregulars, archers come forward and a dark wall of arrows launch into the air! For a moment the air darkens as nearly 300 shafts fly upwards toward the walls and start to arch back down toward them. Benar falls back away from the front and plants the banner of the Abbey back toward the center of the LP army near Lord Sebastian's command position. The irregulars however have erected a wall of makeshift shields and are starting to move forward toward the front gates, they have a battering ram and cover it won't take them long to hit. Meanwhile inside the Abbey Lorimis makes himself scarce, ducking out of sight up the stairs and then vanishing into the attic spaces rather swiftly to get out of the way before anyone on Marek's side decides to try and take him captive.

If anyone were to look by the bell tower, the lone guard watching it would be found out cold on the ground, a squirrel ringing the bells... Wait, what? Something is off... However, any horde beasts that might investigate would be suddenly jumped by two woodlanders, one of whom a certain otter.

The Ferravalians have a bit more order to their charge now, pacing themselves so they'll still have energy to fight when the walls are breached. A hulking weasel calls cadence and the army raises their voice in a feral roar, more projectiles added to the flight of arrows released by the Patrollers. Ladders rise up amongst the second and third few ranks like avenging angels of ominous doom, and grappling hooks are much in evidence.

Anomen raises a paw for the tribe to wait till the time is right to fire off some arrows; He will jump to the ground when the fighting gets more serious as he draws his blade to get ready to fight.

John looks around at the others, then shakes his head, saying, "If those gates don' open, most o' us are dead beasts..." The rat looks at the squirrel, his eyes a bit wide. "Ya don't think that they'll do it, b-" John cuts him short, stating, in a flat tone, "Ah never said tha'." Turning to his group, he adds, "If ye an' any o'er beasts think that', ye'd best leave now. Naebeast is stopin' ye!" None of the armored figures move. "Good!" John says, drawing his sword. "Now we wait!" And hope to all things good that Lee succeeds. The squirrel finishes in his mind.

Treesong waits for the order to start fighting as she stays in one of the trees off to the side of the road quietly.

Barley has a dirk if he needs it but he is mainly here to help with injuries, the master healer with him stays close to him as he adjusts a pack at his side.

Althea is with the healer, helping beasts here and there.

A few armed woodlanders suddenly stream out of Great Hall... only 25 in total. A suicidal move in every way. The bells continue ringing, Lee's signal to his few fighters. Lee, meanwhile, is armed with Martin's Sword and steps out with his admittedly puny force.

Amongst Lee's forces walks the battle-scarred Emyuil Half-Rat, in his ragged old cloak, padded cloth armor, and wielding his midnight-black sword, which he spins with a quick flick of the wrist into fighting position, advancing slowly and daring Marek's forces to strike with his eyes.

You hear quick footsteps, but you don't see anyone. Some vermin seem to fall over dead but whoever is making the footsteps is still very much alive. Suddenly, a black and white blurr comes to focus as Oak. He opens the gates with a grin. "'Ello.....lookin' fer' a way in?" He turns to a very angry fox. "Oh I'm sorry.....was I not supposed to open 'dat? Sorry, my bad. Here, lemme' make sure you don't 'ave 'te worry abo' 'dat anymore" He proceeds to stab the fox with a poison dagger at it falls over dead.

Scioto sees Oak rush past and seeing the gates open he draws his sword, he is ready to help the abbey fight to be free again.

Marek see's Oak run out of the gates and growls. "I KNEW SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU WHEN I HAD THE CHANCE, SQUIRREL!" he comes down from the gates to join the battle, this is one stoat that has had enough.

With the gates suddenly swinging open the Mossflower forces drop their ram, shift their shields down and draw their swords and charge! Planning to help reinforce the gates and make an opening! More arrows from the Long Patrol go up and over and down to hit those vermin manning the walls as Long Patrol Regiments suddenly break and dark to the south... looping around the abbey they pause and salute the vermin standing on the wall top just as it starts to shake and creak.... after a moment of screaming, shouting and panic a section of the south wall falls out onto the plains. As the dust settles the Long Patrol charged joined by the Foremole and his crew as they rapidly retreat from their tunnel beneath the south wall of the abbey. Marek has two breaches in his defenses now and as the Bells continue to sing their call to freedom a third problem rears its head as up on the highest gable of the Southern Roof top a banner unfurls.... a huge massive banner that ripples in the breeze, one corner held by the frail looking form of a mouse. The majority of the weight of this gigantic rejection of Marek's authority is being held aloft by four Sparrows. The Tapestry of Redwall Abbey is flying in the air above the Home of Peace as a flight of Sparra Warriors depart the loft in a small group and dive down to bring some much needed relief to the hard pressed forces of Lee.

Nightbreath laughs into the sky ringingly as the gates open and the wall tumbles. He barks out orders and the Ferravalian warriors quickly move to exploit the breaches in Marek's defenses, pouring through the gates and systematically hacking their way into the abbey, keeping their phalanx formation as long as they can, Nightbreath leading them.

Scioto swings his sword at a couple rats and arrows his eyes, he gets very serious about fighting now as he helps the abbey towards its freedom from Marek and the horde beasts.

Anomen smiles, he gives the single for the Gawtrybe to fire off arrows at Marek's horde beasts and he himself drops down from the trees and enters the fight, sword drawn and he slices at a rat that gets to close, he looks over at the wall, well should be easy to fix as it’s only a small part of it and the moles most likely will get to that right away, he sidesteps a fox and barely avoids a rat as the true fighting has begun!

"This is it." John says, seeing the gates open. Signaling to his beasts, they follow his charge, bellowing war-cries and challenges. Large Shields raised high above their heads, the six advance. A scream makes John's head turn, and, rolling around on the ground, wailing piteously, is Rutsnout. And an arrow in his knee-cap. One of the armored beasts, a ferret, picks him up and rushes away to find a healer. The squirrel puts an extra burst of speed and makes it to the gates, slaying a weasel with a thrust of his sword. Hacking and slashing at any foe that he meets, John moves inward, making his way to the 25 Redwallers.

Treesong hops off the tree she is in as the squirrels of the Gawtrybe fire off arrows into the vermin who work for Marek. She uses her sling and fires off a couple rocks off towards horde beasts as she sidesteps a few vermin archers and gets into one of the trees again.

Lee looks over at Emyuil, gripping the Sword. "To the death, mate?" As the wall suddenly falls, the bells still ringing, he yells out, "FOR REDWAAAALLLL! FOR FREEDOM! CHAAAAARGE!" And with that his force of 25 enters the fray, hacking and slashing at vermin. The Otter strides forward, Sword at the ready.

Barley stays out of the battle best he can, tending to the injured when he can. Those the hare can’t reach the abbeys Master healer does, or least best he can as well. A couple other healers help as a few hares make sure the healers stay safe as the wounded are tended too.

Oak grins as he pulls out his long sword. "Ye stinkin' vermin don't belong 'ere in Redwall" He charges at one particular ferret who does not take his opposition kindly, and the two engage in a very harsh battle

"To the death," Emyuil nods. "A fine day for it, too," He murmurs as he lifts his blade and roars out, "TUSCANI! THE GORECROWS FEAST WELL TONIGHT!" He sprints forward alongside the other Redwallers, fluidly using the momentum of his charge to fuel his initial strike, parrying deftly, then thrusting low and ripping upward to brutally disembowel the first foe he nears.

Marek draws his swords and quickly enters the battlefield, with his precision quite a few hares and other creatures fall to his swords. "Perhaps I will lose Redwall Today, but I will take as many of us as I can with me. My Conquest shall not be in vain" you can tell by Marek's eyes he is unnaturally angry, but the fact that is somehow both chaotic and organized is frightening

With the banners flying, the walls down and Sparra's reigning stabby beaky death from above things are certainly going the way of the Redwallers! The Long Patrol are pressing their advantage and have created an area around the southern wall where they are in control allowing more of their forces in through the broken southern wall.

The Ferravalians fight with brutal efficiency, fighting as one as they surge over the main grounds to collide with the bulk of Marek's force, with a clash of steel and a bellow of war-cries. A pincer has been formed, the hares the hammer and the Ferravalians the anvil...

Scioto fights now near by the Ferravale beasts and it seems seeing Scioto helps them to fight for the abbeys freedom even better than they were.

Anomen does very well to lead the Gawtrybe in the fighting, the 20 some fighters of the tribe have been knocked down to 15, but the rest fight very well. Anomen slices at a ferret he is doing battle with and gets a cut on his upper arm, one of the tribe archers fires off an arrow into the ferrets back and it falls over dead as the squirrel chieftain steps back and nods his thanks, near him is a fairly young fighter, maybe around 7 seasons and the chief seems to make sure he stays close to him to prevent him from getting to hurt but the two do get a bit separated as he sighs, he nods for a couple tribe beasts to go off to where a few rats are and he glances around carefully, staying very alert.

John, nearing Lee and the Redwallers, calls out, "'Ello, Lee! Fancey-" He disarms a rat by grabbing the unfortunate vermin's blade with his gauntleted left hand, "Seein' ye 'ere!" He finishes off the rat with a thrust to the gut with his sword. The five armored beasts left finally make it to the gates, were they group together, the pikes and shields in front, the long-sword at the side and the ball and chain wielding squirrel in the back- Death to any who venture too close.

Treesong has started to run low on rocks for her sling as she selects the last couple and loads one as the sling swings in a fast circle and she readys to fire off at more of the horde beasts.

Barley and a hare near him help a badly injured long patrol fighter off to the side where a small area has been made to heal the injured, he frowns as one of the fighter hares dies from a very bad wound but he can’t get emotional now, he has to still tend to the wounded, the more serious tended to by the Master healer and the less serious by other healers, one healer even helps with both as a group of hares with sabers block off vermin from getting to the area the healers have set up.

Althea helps the healers, being a healer herself, best she can.

Oak keeps fighting the ferret, eventually overcoming him, he appears a bit rusty with his long sword as he struggles in battle, now simple looking for a place to fire arrows unseen

Emyuil finishes off his current opponent, breaks off, and runs to Lee's side, thrusting expertly at any who venture to try to outflank the otter. Far above, the sparrow named Spyro dives at blurring speed towards a target: A rat wearing a bandanna and plate armor. He screeches as he impacts, stabbing with a razor-sharp beak before breaking off, pulling back, moving to make another run, rolling over in the air to avoid an arrow and make himself a more difficult target before he makes his next run, this time actually knocking a horde beast off the wall with the force of his impact...

Marek advances through the battle, seeing Oak in the distance, hoping to catch him. After all, the squirrel has been ruining his plans the whole time. He angrily stabs a few hares, a weasel, a mouse and even tangles with a badger at some point. All of them fall as Marek hopes to catch Oak, nothing stopping him at the moment, while Redwall quickly falls back into the right hands behind him

Lee nods to John. "An' yerself, mate. 'Ow would ye fancy a spot o' tea once this all be over?" He slices at a portly rat, the thrusts, finishing it off. His force of 25 is down to 21, but the otter is focused on one thing: Marek. He hacks his way toward the leader, determined to end him once and for all.

With Marek distracted by his vendetta against Oak the Long Patrol quickly make use of the wavering command of Marek's southern flank and over-power the commanders of his forces on the south wall. With the vermin either surrendering or running off to try and join their comrades elsewhere the Long Patrol colonel leading the southern flank along with the Foremole quickly take the southern wall and push forward toward the Kitchen Gardens and the entrance to the main abbey building. The Sparra continue to haress the vermin trying to attack Lee whilst out on the field Benar and Sebastian are sending messengers this way and that as they try to stay updated on the battle for Redwall. Lorimis has gone from the roof but the Tapestry of Martin the Warrior is still flying in defiance of Marek and the bells, oh the bells do sing! BONG-BONG-BONG! Redwall shall be free!

Treesong uses her last couple stones and manages to kill a couple beasts, she is surprised from behind and fights with a rat useing a dagger she got off the ground, the rat seems to do better in the fight injuring her leg fairly badly and she gets knocked to the ground clearly knocked out cold, a couple fellow tribe beasts finish off the rat and go about getting the squirrel maid to a healer.

Scioto fights with a tall weasel and it almost looks like the weasel will win when the cat fakes a move to the left and stabs the weasel in the chest, the weasel dies at the cats footpaws.

The Ferravalians begin to split into several units, their rear ranks swarming the walls by stairs and the ladders they brought with them, while the bulk of the force heads for the Abbey itself. The orchards are caught in the warpath and become a killing-ground.

Anomen keeps an eye on all the tribe beasts best he can, 15 are down to 10 and he frowns, he frowns even more when he loses sight of Treesong and battles his way through some horde beasts as a tribal squirrel gets to him and whispers something to him quickly, a worried look comes across his face as he nods and something is said back as the two squirrels stay in battle form beside one another.

"Aye," The Squirrel calls over the sounds of the fighting and dying, "Ah'd like tha'." John slashes a ferret's gut before following close behind Lee, making sure no beats attacks the otter. Meanwhile, the group of five, now six, as the beast who helped Rutsnout has returned, charge through the fray, leaving nothing but death and chaos in their wake. Soon they are near the steps of Great Hall, killing any of Marek's beast that comes out or near. John has gotten himself in a fight with to others, the fox already bleeding out on the ground, while another rat is dueling him. He grunts as the rat's blade pokes him in the chest, though it springs back; foiled by John's Hauberk. The rat makes a gurgling sound, an arrow in his throat. A vixen nods to John, before taking aim again and firing. Another of Marek's beasts fall.

Barley and the healers, even a couple beasts that arnt healers but know some healing arts still tend to the wounded best they can. The Redwall's Master Healer looks tried as he is nearby the LP healer and frowns as he sees the wounded, the ones who have died and the fighting still going on, but he is in healer mode now and must stay focused on his task.

Oak is starting to notice that there is nowhere he can fire arrows, so he comes up with the only explanation possible to him......to run away. He bolts through the crowd, killing beasts where he can, but basically caring more for his own life. "I'm sorry, I 'ave to go...excuse me. Pardon me. Gotta leave" Confident he has lost Marek, Oak disappears into the woods, once again hidden from sight

Lee stabs a weasel, then kicks it out of his way. The otter is on a mission, single minded in his quest. He cuts beasts down, and never stops.

Emyuil walks beside Lee now, brutally adding his own strikes to Lee's, parrying again, thrusting now, whirling his blade to lop off another weasel's head, which rolls and lands with a thud several feet away. Spyro above whirls around, a brown bullet as he dives and knocks another beast off the wall, rolling, turning, diving, doing it again. He lives to fly...and flies to live, he muses as an arrow whistles by.

Marek looks around angrily, not being able to find Oak, he turns his anger towards what he can, and engages in a heated battle with four weasels and a mouse.

The battle is turning in Redwall's favor, Marek has lost Oak in the heat of battle and slowly the forces of Redwall are killing, taking prisoner or routing Marek's defenders. The abbey building is full of small pockets of warring bands. The great hall, cavern hole, the Kitchens have been seized by the Long Patrol and they are driving the forces in the Cavern Hole back toward the stairs to the Great Hall.... it won't be long now the battle is poised on the brink of breaking, Marek's forces cannot last much longer.

Running threw a rat with his blade, John continues to follow Lee. The group of six move as one, as the area they are in is now empty of foe beasts. They add themselves into the fight near Marek, slaying those in their path. One of them, a fox, falls, but soon is avenged as the beast lucky enough to find a weak spot dies when his bones are crushed. The squirrel swings the ball and chain again, killing more.

Lee stabs beasts around him, his little force not faring too badly. A squirrel gets stabbed and falls, but Lee doesn't notice. He gets closer and closer to his enemy, the Sword of Martin ending many a vermin life in the process.

Marek kills one of the weasels, but the other four enemies prove to be too difficult for him. Two of them cut deeply into his leg, and Marek manages to kill the 2nd one, but has to signal for his archers to kill the other three. Marek doesn't see Lee at the moment, so he gets closer unintentionally

Anomen fights his way to where the healers are set up, the rest of the tribe fight in a couple other areas.

John, seeing the archers fire, calls over to his five beasts. "Redtail! Broadbeam! See if ye can' deal with those archers yonder!" The two nod, saying, "Aye sir!" and rush the bow beasts. John turns to the three left. "Thae rest o' ye, with me!" The four move to help the Redwallers, many foes falling at their paws.

Lee swings the Sword, beheading a fox, his gaze oddly calm. He is within feet of Marek now.

Marek looks on in shock as Lee approaches h”im. "As much as I would like to fight Mr. Lee, it has become apparent to me that this effort is no longer worth it for me. I shall go now" he flees into the woods, unfournately, making the unwise decision of still being clearly visible by Lee

Anomen is still leading what’s left of the Gawtrybe in the fighting.

John slashes at a ferret who got in his way, the rest of his group slaying those of Marek's in the area. The armored Squirrel and Otter break into the line of archers, sewing chaos among them. John watches as Marek flees, then says to Lee, "Ah assume tha's Marek, aye?"

Lee nods grimly. "Aye, that 'e is. John," He looks at the squirrel, "I need ye ta take charge o' the Redwallers. I'm goin’ after Marek “

John nods. "Ah will...Though won’t it bae more wise tae send bow beasts after him?" John shrugs. "Ah mean nae disrespect, bu' what happons if he kills ye? A beats like that is tae dangerous tae be left alive."

Lee frowns. "I'll take archers if I need ta, but 'e ain't escapin' me."

The fighting has now almost completely stopped; save for the few brawls here and there. "Ah don' doubt it." John says. "Well," th squirrel shrugs, "If ye wish tae catch 'em ye'd best get goin'."

Lee salutes the squirrel with the Sword. "See ye after the fight, mate. Ye'd better be alive." With that, He dashes off.

John calls after him, "Ah plain tae! An' thae same goes for ye!"

Anomen watches Lee go off as he heads off to where the healers have set up a small area to check on Treesong.
