RW Abbey: Infirmary
Several beds are lined against the red sandstone walls of the Abbey's Infirmary. An examination table, separated from the rest of the room by hanging blankets, rests against the far wall. Tucked into a small alcove is a sizeable workbench with various containers for mixing and preparing medicinal compounds. Against another wall is a desk for use by the Infirmary Keeper. A curtained off alcove behind the desk hides a locked door to the Infirmary's supplies and linens.

Oz lay in the cot, he was recovering and most likely could go back to his own room but the healers wanted to make double sure he was ok and stayed off duties for the whole 2 weeks. A rest was ok, he most likely needed it, but it was also boring and he was seriously missing the dibbuns, his dibbuns..he missed them and he was sure they missed him.
Leon stepped into the infirm to check on him, the normal see how the wound is healing, take pulse and check temperature, that sort of thing and went to check on another beast on the other side of the room, a vole with a hurt paw.
The open ground is quiet or least was till around 10 small sets of foot paws are heard.1o sets of eyes watch the mouse healer and those 10 sets of paws quickly make their way to the badger’s bedside once the healer looks away.
Zee steps into the infirm and grumbles as he rubs his shoulder and sits on a cot by doorway to the hall.
Leon nods a greeting to Zee, “Hello Zee, how is he shoulder? Is it hurting today? I could take a look at it.” He makes his way over to the badger, not yet noticing the dibbuns sneaking into the room.
Pip peeks into the room, he is not so sneaky and after looking to Zee and Leon he rushes over to Oz and climbs a chair he pushes over making an awful squeaking noise and then he climbs onto the badger’s bed and tapes him on the shoulder.
Oz hears the dibbuns clearly and smiles, he reaches a paw out to touch Pip’s head “Pip you are alright, I was worried…”He chuckles “I hear you guys..come on and greet me already” THE 10 dibbuns seem eager about this and climb up on the bed and the badger gets hugs and a kiss on the forehead.
Zee shrugs and then blinks “Umm..ya infirm been invaded it seems Brother Leon”
Leon spins around and frowns “Hey! Papa Oz needs sleep, now get off his bed and go back to the dibbun quarters.”
Pip smiles “I am okies…”He looks wide eyed at Leon and then hides under Oz’s blanket.
The 10 dibbuns just stare at the mouse, some give those sad eyes and one gives a loud “No!”
Oz raises a paw “Now now…relax, all of you. It just seems the dibbuns missed me, a quick sit will be fine Brother Leon.” He offers a smile.
Leon sighs “Fine” He then adds “A quick one”
This is greeted by a cheer as it seems the rest if the dibbuns were listening in the hall and giggle as they rush in to visit “ Papa Oz Papa Oz!” The badger chuckles as he is hugged more and one dibbun tries to climb onto his chest and he gently puts them to the side, “Careful…still sore.” A mutters sorry is heard and the Sister Jenny peeks in, but stays by the doorway for now.
Zee grins “Ya best watch those dibbuns Brother Leon they be sneaky beasts, and never agree to snacks cause they will all want one, then water and then a story…and if one gets wake, just one they all slowly wake and it starts all over again”
Leon sighs “But Oz needs rest he is supposed to take the next two weeks off, and by the way answer the question about the shoulder please” His attention back to Zee now.
Oz smiles as the dibbuns stay by the bed to visit him ”I missed you my dibbuns and am very to be back, you been being good?” A couple frown and shuffle their foot paws as he listens “Well I expect you to behave and mind Sister Ginny and whomever else is in charge till I am well enough to get out of here.” He gets some –“Okies”- and a few hugs, a grumbled here and there, normal dibbun stuff.
Sister Ginny steps in “ok maybe let Papa Oz rest now” Some grumbles again and most follow her, except a mouse and a squirrel dibbun who snuggle up and fall asleep beside Oz and she lets them stay escorting the others back out.
Pip also has fallen asleep by the badger, “Papa..Oz…..”
Zee answers, “Tis ok, sore at times but seems to be healing good from what was told lad. Tis is stiff sometimes but not like painful”
Leon mouths a thanks to the order sister for getting…well most away and hmms at Zee, “Yes It is healing good, but there could have been unseen muscle damage, it was to the bone by the t of the shoulder and some of the collar bone. Just let me know ok and just no going out to fight anyone”
Oz smiles as he lets the mouse, squirrel and rabbit sleep beside him. He yawns and let’s himself falls asleep as well.
Zee nods “I know that Brother Leon. I did try and swing me blade a couple times, make me shoulder blade hurt something fierce so put de blade away. Maybe I will thing on re…..well BIG maybe, but least no fighting right now unless have ta”
Leon nods and looks over at Oz, then back to Zee “Good idea I don’t like too many in my infirm.”
Zee nods and heads back down stairs to the cavern hole, is almost dinner time
Leon will make sure things are good in the infirm, that the beasts get a meal when they wake up and then he heads off himself.
Oz will eat later, for now he gets some rest and 3 dibbuns beside him nap beside him as he himself rests.
