RW Abbey: Great Hall

The Great Hall of Redwall Abbey. Countless paw falls have echoed from these stones, and untold numbers of feasts and merry gatherings have been held here. A table, not nearly so grand or large as its predecessors, but quite functional for mealtimes, rests near the center of the hall. Chairs exist here aplenty, and they are all of a matching set. High above, the stain glass windows give the Great Hall a beautiful appearance. The glasswork is exceptionally done, crafted by a skilled artist. The floor is clean and swept. A fire is kept burning in the fireplace at almost all times of the day and night, and there are several more comfortable chairs and cushions set up here, of varying sizes. One looks large enough to easily accommodate a badger.

The Tapestry hangs proud and tall, and while the rest of Redwall may still bear the scars of natural disaster, this most famous of Redwall's relics remains unharmed by beast, time, or the elements. The figure of Martin the Warrior seems to be watching over his own with an unchanging, kindly gaze.

Soft light is slowly beginning to filter in through the stained glass windows high above your head.

Rayen is resting in one of the soft chairs by the fireplace. It’s not cold right now the chair is just soft to lie in.

Flicktail comes over to rest with her

Rayen looks up and smiles a little, "Hello love, I was just resting a little."

Flicktail says; "Aye I decided to join you" He smiles.

Rayen nods" I..Wasn’t feeling so well this morning, but I feel better now by the way. Brother Leon gave me this mint water to help"

Flicktail says, "I like mint actually”

Rayen nods slowly and then speaks softly" Ummm...Flicktail, I also have some possible news."

Flicktail asks, "Oh? What is it Luv?" He tilts his head ,ears perked.

Rayen looks unsure of his reaction, "I was talking to Leon and he gave me a short checkup, you know to make sure I was ok earlier today."

Flicktail nods "Leon is Just the beast to do it" He smiles

Rayen smiles, "Yes he is a very good healer..umm he mentioned something or said there is a good chance of something"

Flicktail asks, "A good chance? Please go on Luv"

Rayen looks a little worried, but maybe happy at the same time "He said...he said I might be with dibbun"

Flicktail smiles widely "Luv that’s WUNNERFUL! “

Rayen smiles "Your happy then?"

Flicktail says, "why would I not you know I LOVE Dibbuns"

Rayen chuckles and sounds relieved as she hugs him, “Still be a long while away still"

Flicktail says, "well of course.. "

Rayen smiles "I can still do chores and all for a while yet, that won’t be a problem till later on." She then smiles again "That reminds me..it’s about Streamheart and Lee"

Flicktail asks, "why you worried about Chores?"

Rayen says, "Well chores will be tougher later when..well..further along"

Flicktail says, "Aye but worry about that when it is time"

Rayen nods "Now did you want to know what Lee mentioned earlier or not?”

Flicktail says, "I do..please tell me"

Rayen smiles "Streamheart had her dibbun, it’s a girl. They have not decided on a name yet though"

Flicktail exclaims, "oh that IS wonderful! A new life" He grins

Rayen smiles “I hope you’re this happy when I have our dibbun"

Flicktail says, "Luv, why would you think that, of course I will be happy"

Rayen smiles as she leans against him, "I love you Flicktail...so very much" She ends up falling asleep beside him, smiling.
