Everyone! A reminder that this week marks the Redwall Abbey Summer Festival! Schedule is detailed below! Be there or be square!
Monday July 18th:
Carnival Arrives:
There will be a big show in the open ground of the Abbey with a big show of food and dancing, song and various entertainments provided by Redwall to welcome the carnival. The carnival folk will be setting up their tents and stands the next day.
- Start time: 9pm GMT
- Host: Elmef playing Benar
Tuesday July 19th:
Carnival Opens:
The Carnival opens its doors, the side-shows, the tents selling merchandise, the fortune telling booth, the main stage! There will be music and an acrobats show and side shows for everyone to take part in
Start of the Treasure Hunt:
Abbot Benar will open the Treasure Hunt today! A list of clues will be given out, each one a riddle that will lead you around the abbey to locate various items! Make a note of the room each item is located in!
- Starting 8pm GMT: But the show will continue throughout the day!

Wednesday July 20th:
Dibbun’s Day:
A tradition of the carnival, the second day of the carnival is Dibbuns Day! Today the Dibbuns rule the carnival, they are in charge and anyone older than 8 seasons old must do as the dibbuns say! It only holds sway inside the Carnival area in the Open Grounds but there will be dunk tanks and music and games for and designed by the dibbuns!

Thursday July 21st:
Redwall Summer Games!:
Today a series of competitions and games will be run for teams and individuals!
Climbing the Greased Pole
Foot Races
Longest Throw
Long Jump
A whole host of events and sporting events for everyone to take part in!

- Host: Champion Magramba
Friday July 22nd:
Song Contest:
Today is a contest of songs, every Redwaller, Visitor from Mossflower and guest of the Abbey is invited to take the stage and perform their favourite song to a captive audience! The contest will take place in the Arena that has been built in the Garden of the Late Rose!
There shall be three Judges, Abbot Benar, Champion Magramba and ??????
There will be multiple categories and winners for each one!
OOC: I encourage people to pick and choose their favourite song from the books and come along to the festival to perform it or perform it as a team of two! Or more! We want as many people as possible joining in! Think up a good show to put on with your song! Fun RP and amusing situations is what we are all looking for!

Sunday July 24th:
Farewell Feast:
Today is the Summer Feast, to mark the end of the Carnival and Celebration and the Official Naming of the Summer by the Abbot
Treasure Hunt:
Today is the day to submit your Treasure Hunt Answers, Abbot Benar will check each item off and whoever found them all will win a prize!
The Carnival Departs:
The Carnival will leave today with as big a show as they arrived with! Come along and watch them packing up and departing.

- Host: No Host – It is encouraged to RP the carnival preparing to leave throughout the day
