Moledeep: Rose Garden

There's some chiseling noise coming from the rose garden this evening. Whoever walks into that part of the gardens would see a large and tall slab of pure rock. Its being chiseled into something by Kentar, who is wandering around it, chiseling here and there, humming a happy tune to himself

William enters the garden. He'd expected it to be quiet but it isn't with the stoat in it. The rat cocks his head at the stone then smiles and shakes his head a little as it seems Kentar's took Aik's advice.

Kentar keeps humming to himself, chiseling away. He carves a face into the rock slowly, the basic shapes being much more clear with every time the hammer hits the chisel. "Oh! Garnet will be every bit as beautiful in stone as she is for real." He sighs to himself with a smile.

William watches the stoat a while longer, he won't be getting the peace and quiet he'd been hoping for here. "If you make it life size like I think you're going to you shouldn't make it too life like. Scare Amy t death thinking Garnet turn t stone or something," the rat chuckles.

Kentar jumps and huhs, looking towards Will. "Don't scare me like that." he laughs before laughing louder at the thought. "Haha! I'll be sure not to let Amy touch it then." he laughs with a nod.

William grins a little when the stoat jumps, "Good luck with that. She likes th rose garden. Not so sure she likes it being filled with rocks but this ones better than the last one even if it is humongous."

Kentar nods a little. "Well, I guess you'll have to tell her that I'm making a lifelike statue of Garnet and that if she touches it, not to think that my wife turned to stone." he laughs.

William says, "I'll just have t not say it th way you did. She should be able t tell it's not really Garnet but depends how real t life you make it."

Kentar laughs a little. "I'm going to get it as real as possible! This a gift to her!" he smiles. "I want it to be as good as I can possibly make it!" he grins,

William nods slowly, "I thought so. Didn't know Robin was a wood carver too. Flicky is one but course /he/ doesn't live here. .... Where exactly were you planing on putting this statue of yours er Garnet's? There's only so much room in th rose garden ya know."

William ohs aplogetically "..... Do you like it here? ..." he nods toward the gravestone.

Kentar hms a little bit. "Me?" he asks. "Yes. I do." The stoat nods. "Gives me alone time with my brother. We catch up on all the stuff I missed over the last few seasons." he sighs quietly. "I'm moving his grave in the spring." he says.

William tilts his head at the stoat, "Why?" he asks. It sounds a bit strange but he can think of a reason or two for the stoat to do it.

Kentar sighs. "Garnet used to like this place. And well, I'd like her to be able to come out here with me again." he nods with another quiet sigh.

Kentar sighs. "Garnet used to like this place. And well, I'd like her to be able to come out here with me again." he nods with another quiet sigh.

William shrugs a bit, "That's a good reason I guess. .... Where are you gonna move him to?"

Kentar sighs. "The river." he says. "I'll set him on a raft, and burn it." the stoat nods. "It was the way we said goodbye to our parents, and friends."

"Finally another beast has sense around here," Will mumbles to himself before looking back up at the stoat, "Sounds like a decent plan." He chews on his lip a moment then asks more genuinely, ".... You talk t him about it? Much as I don't care for burying I still wouldn't want t upset him any. He has been there a long while. Think you can stand t dig him up and see him all rotted?

Kentar sighs a little bit. "I buried him in a wooden box I made. It is extremely simple. But it worked. And yes. I think I could stand it if I had." the stoat then chuckles. "He said it was the way he wanted to be sent off." he nods.

William hmms, "He say that before he died or since he's been in th box here? If before you could have done that in th first place.

Kentar hms a little bit. "Both." The stoat nods a little before sitting down, leaning against the rock.

William nods some, "When were you thinking of doing it? Moving him that is."

Kentar hums a little. "As soon as the snow is completely gone and the ground is try properly again."

Kentar nods but then raises a paw. "No. I can do it myself." before standing and heading for the hall. "I'm tired. I'll see you tomorrow Will." he smiles a little bit

William nods, "Thought I'd ask just in case." He waves as the stoat leaves, "I'll bet you are after working on Garnet's statue. I'll see ya."
