Sometimes Small Things Are The Most Dangerous

-In the attic Area above 3nd floor-

Leon disliked the attic but it was one place he could think of dibbuns would hide and he did volunteer to help find two dibbuns, Pip and Chip, too twin otter cubs of about maybe 1 season.

The two otter cubs giggle from their hiding place and one crawl further into an area in the far back, where there may have been an old storage area but now it’s just super dusty and empty, and also just big enough to hide 2 small otter dibbuns.

Leon frowns and calls out “Pip..Chip come on now. Papa Oz will not like it if you’re late for class and you won’t get desert after dinner tonight and I heard it’s a good one too.”

Pip grins as he hides, “This is funnys”

Chip nods “Yeah yeah, hee heee funnies”

Close to the dibbuns a small shape moves, unseen in the dark.

Leon hears the giggles and walks over opening the small door and coughs as dust fills his lungs “Ok…out you two”

Pip frowns and climbs out and looks at the floor “Kays….” Chip starts to and frowns” Foot stuck in hole..ochie!”

Leon reaches in to get the footpaw loose” Ok..hold still and we will have you free in just a second or two little one”

The small shape makes it’s self know..A brown recluse spider and it doesn’t like Leon invading its home so it does what most spiders would do, it bits down on his paw.

Chip gets his footpaw loose and just in time missing the spider

Leon tenses up a little and pulls his paw away, seeing the spider he frowns and holds his paw which hurts a little and seems to ease up in pain a little as he pulls out an herb and lays it on the bite area, just in case and a small bandage, it’s not much and the herbs is for pain mainly as he is not too worried on swelling right now, the bite was small and the pain only lasted a short couple seconds. The herb will also help with inching later, he can check in in a couple hours or after dinner “Come on you two”

Chip decides the spider needs to die for hurting Brother Leon and so stomps it till it curls up and stops moving. Pip backs up and hides behind Leon

Leon rubs his paw and looks at the dibbuns, “Ok Ok, its dead let’s get to dinner before Lacota gets upset.

The dibbuns grin and head on ahead of Leon to dinner

Leon sighs and follows them, he frowns at his paw and decides he will have to get a better look at it after dinner, he has seen spider bites before but they didn’t usually get too bad so for now…he isn’t worried.

-Great Hall-

Leon walks into the room, his right paw bandaged and seems to be in some pain but he tries to ignore it, he had just checked the paw and seen it swollen so he applies a thick layer of herbs for swelling and possible infection and it’s about all he can do for now.

Zork waves to Leon and then frowns "Wot happen ta ya paw thar Leon? Ya doin' ok?" He is sitting in the chair Oz usually sits in.

Leon nods "Its fine. How is the..the shoulder doing Zork we do want you to recover after all" He rubs his forehead as if he has a headache and listens for a reply.

Zork watches the mouse and nods "Tis better than it were and I can life me arm now and use me forge hammer a wee bit now and it doesn’t hurt...well so long as I don’t use it too long, which promise I won’t"

Leon smiles "T..That’s good." He walks a few footpaws and frowns. "If excuse me...need to..to sit or.." But he doesn’t get more out as he passes out and goes to fall forwards.

Zork is out of his chair in an instant and easily catches the mouse before he hits the floor "Leon!" He scoops him up and looks him over, he is not an expert in healing but he knows some at least and pulse and breathing checking he knows and feels his forehead as he brings him to the chair and lays him down.

Leon groans, his forehead is hot like he has a fever and he shivers a little, his pulse is slightly low but not dangerously so, just a faint bit but may feel normal to most and his breathing is ok for now as well, but he is clearly unconcious and clearly has a fever, also his paw is badly swollen under the bandage.

Zork frowns and decides to get him to the infirm quick, it's one of those times quickness is best, yeah normally he wouldn’t run but this is something important and the infirm is just up the steps.

Leon remains unconcious, even after getting to the infirm and being checked out. Only time will tell just how serious this is.
