Hey guys, some thoughts have been on my mind concerning the current Abbot for some time now. In short... his age. Lorimis is... ancient. Based on my research, Lorimis was ICly born....not too many seasons after the Great Earthquake that wrecked Redwall, an event that happened LONG BEFORE any of the other current characters living at the Abbey were born.

Basically, Lorimis is old, as old as Methuselah in 'Redwall', and I think, for the sake of narrative consistency, he should start feeling his age, and even... die.

Now, don't get me wrong, I like Lorimis as much as the next guy, and I'm not complaining because I dislike him, but I *do* want this role play to remain consistent, and if Lorinis remains immortal, it will lose its consistency.

I realize the decision to remove and replace Lorimis as Abbot is entirely up to Otter, but I see it as an opportunity to create more rp! If Lorimis were to finally retire or pass away, that would provide a great chance for a new tiny plot that does not include marauding hordes of vermin or sieges of the abbey.

I just think it's time, for sake of consistency, for Lorimis to feel his age. What do you guys think?
