Some Beast Wants To Kill Benar!?

++++ This Happen in the Cavern Hole, Zork had got alot done at the forge that day and it was very very late into the night,maybe 12 midnight or so, and he comes to relax and finds that he can't...+++++

Zork cartwheels into the great hall; yep the badger is in a good mood tonight, three..and a half cartwheels as he falls over and chuckles, "Well almost"

Lee is seated in his chair

Flicktail walks in and sits down

Zork looks at Lee "Hey ya Lee how are you? And you Flicky?"

Lee frowns at the others.

Flicktail sits down "Hello Zork, how is me friend today?”

Zork says, "I am doing good, hmms looks like Lee is upset, not to worry Lee if it’s about your dibbun I am sure we will find her soon"

Flicktail says, "Starlight missing and now he believes he knows of assassination plot here in the abbey"

Zork says, "Well we won’t let no bad beasts in, just ones we trust"

Flicktail says, "Said they are already in the Abbey"

Lee shakes his head. "Not believe, I know. Orders from Nightfur 'imself, relayed by Aster, an' passed on to a beast 'ere in the Abbey, whom I plan to capture an' use for gettin' Starlight back."

Zork frowns, "But, why? Who they after Lee or you Flicktail?"

Flicktail says, "Benar" He chuckles "oh man are they in for a surprise with THAT beast"

Lee shakes his head. "Me, an' Benar, I didn't tell ye bout the plot against me before, though."

Zork glares a little, "Flicktail it not be a laughing joke, this be serious"

Flicktail says, "Oh I know it’s Serious, but I also know Benar, he were a soldier once, that beast can take care of himself"

Zork says, "I have seen assassins, they try an..sneak up on ya or find weak points"

Lee nods. "Indeed they do, Zork, but I 'appen ta know wot 'er plot is, an' I 'ave a trap planned. An' when I capture 'er, first, some questionin' about Nightfur, then I'm gonna force 'er ta take me ta 'is hideout..."

Zork nods, "Ya need ta be careful Lee, I should keep an eye on Benar, protect him as were"

Zork says, "And he should know some beasts wants him dead, so he knows to be careful"

Lee says, "Well, yes, ye tell 'im."

Zork nods; I wonder why they want Benar..." It then dawns on him, "Oh..yeah course, Benar was the one who banished Nightfur that day"

Flicktail says, "So what do the Abbey Champion do..Just sit here and let other beasts do HIS job?"

Zork says, "You can’t be places all the time and if Lee have plan and idea let him do it, you keep eye out fer Aster cat or anyone looki' out of place, Aster were de one who attacked that badger lass, and de rats attacked but they dead, de rats are"

Lee shakes his head. "Not at all, dad, Ye can do wot ye want after she acts, but I don't want 'er ta know she be found out yet...If she knew she were suspected, she might tell Aster, who'll tell Nightfur...an' right now, 'im thinkin' we be still clueless is the best."

Flicktail says, "If you’re gonna be trapping the Abbey Champion should be helping"

Zork says, "Flicktail ya cant haf too many planin'....things get outta paw and ya tend ta...let things be know too soon. I won’t even help with de plan, I will just keep eye on Benar from afar. And ye can’t have a guard with em either, then they know they be suspected too"

Flicktail says, "Look *I* am Abbey ChaChampion when the trap is sprung I should Be there"

Zork says, "Ya can be notify of it, that we caught em"

Lee says, "Ye will be. I want all the warrior types near Benar's room, should she some'ow escape me. She be gonna talk ta Aster tomorrow, that I know for sure. I plan ta eavesdrop on their chat again, ta glean more info."

Zork says, "Yeah but we need know when or...wouldn’t who ever she is..be like why they all by de room, she wouldn’t go near it ta be trapped"

Flicktail grumbles "All I know is I better NOT see Zork's eyes turn red”

Zork asks, "Why would that happen? I have never had that ever happen to me before, been real angry before yes but never that way"

Flicktail says, "Look I have SEEN badgers that get angry, I had one after me, they call it the blood rage....it's a fearful thing"

Zork says, "Ya can gets angry and not haf bloodwrath"

Lee says, "Lissen, in the interest of honesty, it be Safana. She be sleepin' now, but I'm usin' 'er, an' she don't even realize."

Flicktail says, "All I know is I never want to see the Bloodrath ever again, I am a brave beast for me friends" the Fox is actually hyperventilating he's so upset"

Zork frowns, "Safana...but she be a friend ta de abbey.” He looks at Flicktail suddenly. “Flicky breath normally I don’t wanna haf ta wake up Leon..Dorarose may wake up instead and..she is scary when you wake her up"

Lee nods. "I know, it were a shock ta me, an' I wouldn’t believe it 'ad I not seen 'er an' Aster talkin' 'bout Nightfur an' killin' Benar with me own two ears."

Flicktail pauses at that "Well..yes Dorarose being angry IS the one thing worse than the Bloodwrath.....”

Zork says, "Accidently woke her once..took her 2 weeks ta forgive me..but serious Safana not be de killer, she has helped de abbey lots of times, she probably would help find who it is"

Flicktail says, "All I can say Lee, is you best be SURE.... Safana has always been me friend..Like Zork"

Zork nods "Yeah Safana helped fight this one bad beast once, she be friends with the abbey and Ferravale also"

Lee frowns. "Lissen, I know it be 'ard ta believe, which is mainly why I want ta catch 'er in the attempt."

Flicktail says, "That’s why I have said ok Son"

Zork says, "Maybe ya thought it were her, be alot of black fured cats"

Lee says, "Zork, I won’t press it forward, just ye watch out for Benar. The attempt won’t be tonight, accordin' ta wot I 'eard, but it will be soon."

Flicktail says, "Aye catching a beast red pawed be the best "

Zork nods "Course..ummm Flicktail that be bad picture in me mind..let’s hope catch them before Benar is hurt..I mean I jump in front of him if needed ever ta save him or anyone..be it you..Lee...Ozzy"

Flicktail says, "I did not mean.....oh YOU know wot I meant"

Lee sighs now. "I can't figure wot Nightfur be playin' at, though...Revenge, obviously, but killin' beasts in the Abbey be quite bold, dangerously so...Somethin' bigger be afoot..."

Zork nods, "He be wantin revenge, like said Benar was one who banished him make since ta attack him or ...anyone else who...oh no.." He remembers who was there at the fight, who was hurt before Benar stepped outside and part of the reason he wanted to hunt him down and was told no.

Lee looks at Zork. He's afraid to mention what else he heard.

Zork frowns, "Nightfur he..had come ta look fer de dibbun, and..Ozzy was at the gate, he attacked Ozzy, only hurt his leg, but only cause..Dorarose and Timothy came ta help, that why Dorarose was in de infirm hurt so bad....wot if they after them too"

Flicktail says, "well I am off to check the guards...Keep me informed Son Please G'night Zork me friend"

Lee sighs. "I...yes, Aster mentioned Nightfur wanted info on ye an' yer brother." He nodded to Flick. "G'night, dad."

Zork takes a deep breath, "If anyone hurts Ozzy...be de last thing they do, yes he has his staff, he can use a staff very well, even if he be blind but...doesn’t mean he can’t get hurt if someone were...quiet, he wouldn’t know till were too late"

Lee says, "Don't worry, Zork. I'm gonna use the infiltrator against Aster an' Nightfur, just need ta wait."

Zork nods slowly, "Alright just be careful, whoever it be"

Lee nods. "I plan ta be most careful. Fortunately, I 'ave the upper paw. I 'id meself well, an' they never once knew I were near as they talked."

Zork says, "Just make sure others don’t get...over protective, would look bad if say she see guard with Benar suddenly when he never has one..ever..and she most likely not gonnna do it in open, probably when he would be alone"

Lee nods. "She plans ta do it at night. I'll watch 'er closely, though. She still thinks I be utterly clueless, which is to me advantage."

Zork nods slowly as he listens, "I think I will help de wall guards fer de night, least couple hours before sleep..goodnight Lee" He heads to the entry
