Short Trip And ..This Happens!!

--Starts out on the road somewhere, then into the abbey to the abbey infirm---

Leon is returning from getting some herbs from the woods and meadow.

Anomen has been out looking for his father, he is very sure it was his father that was causing the trouble last night or the day before, whichever he needs to find out and talk to the beast, some rain storms slowed his effort last night and this in turn has left a lot of mud along the dirt road.

Drew is indeed around, watching the road for what he sees as out of place or shouldn't be there sort of beast, he blinks as he catches sight of his son but stays where he is as to not have to move from a good hiding spot.

Leon walks along the road adjusting his pack as he looks up he sees Anomen and nods "Hello, your out early too I see, is there trouble or just walking?"

Anomen shakes his head "Not nothing I can't handle, just looking for someone I need to have a serious chat with, get them to leave the area if I need to. ummm not seen an older squirrel this morning, have you?"

Drew folds his arms over his chest, he can make out some of what they are saying, and decides to step into view" Serious talk huh? I will seriously talk to YOU, what I do be me own business, there is vermin around here, all around here..waiting for the moment to strike!"

Leon starts to shake his head no and then sees Drew, he frowns slightly, "I have not seen any vermin this morning sir, and besides we are almost to the abbey, your welcome to come inside if you like"

Anomen frowns, "Father..so it is you that shot at Bandit, should of guessed and we need to talk, I know you hate foxes and other vermin species but not all are out to get you."

Drew hmmphs, "Welcome indeed rather take my chances out here and you" He turns and glares at Anomen, "How DARE you talk back to me and even come back to this area, a fox has taken over the abbey and I WILL stop him, he has all of them brainwashed the fool, I refuse to step paw in that place." He starts to head off to the side of the road.

Leon looks between them "Now now both of you calm down, and not all foxes are evil sir, some yes but not all and it’s your choice weather you come inside or not and no one else’s "

Anomen shakes his head and narrows his eyes are the other squirrel "I am not talking back to you! Your not hurting some I have become friends with and..and if you would just take some time to give them a chance instead of being, being one sided and thinking on the past maybe you would see what I mean but your probably never change will you! Just..just go away, leave before you get yourself hurt cause of your stupidness!"

Drew had started to walk off and now spins around looking very very peeved off, he stomps his footpaw "You need to show respect for your father boy!" He shakes his head standing by some tall weeds by the unseen ditch that’s very flooded right now with spring rains as he stomps the ground again, losing a lot of rock and mud from the recent rains, "How disrespectful..little...brat.." And he starts to say more but as he keep stomping the loose land decides to shut him up and a look of shock and a scream as he falls backwards into the ditch and into the fast moving, still a little ice in it, water!

Leon frowns and quickly goes forwards a little, he takes off the pack and lays aside a staff he has and takes off his brother robe leaving a thin shirt and pants and dives into the ditch, the cold hits him but he still manages to swim, fairly good for a mouse and almost like an otter..he is a mouse right? Yeah he is he just has swimming skills like that of an otter.

Anomen gasps "Father!" And then he sees Leon "Brother Leon what are you doing, that’s dangerous!" He frowns more as swimming is one thing he fails at and paces unsure of what to do as the water is moving fairly quickly.

Drew hit the water and sinks, he comes back up and coughs as water enters his lungs and the icy water makes him cold, he already is a little ill from the storm and nor having any real good shelter for that, he tries to grab a passing branch and coughs roughly.

Leon swims towards the old squirrel and manages to get closer to him, himself not enjoying the cold water but he needs to get to the squirrel, he reaches out to try and grab his paw, tail, or whatever is closer.

Anomen decides to rush to the abbey, that’s close now, to get help, it’s a good plan he decides.

Drew coughs and sinks again, he manages to surface to have his tail grabbed which he would normally complain about but this time it’s to save his life, he groans and shivers trying to stay above the water and looks ready to sink and stay sinked.

Leon shivers and the grip on the tail is tightened as he looks quickly around and grabs a tree root along the side of the ditch, he pulls the squirrel closer to him, "Grab...-coughs- grab the root, grab it!"

Anomen has found some help, another guard with a rope and they lower it down towards Leon and Drew, “Climb up this best you can guys”

Drew shivers but can sort of manage to slowly climb and spits up water and dirt and climbs, slipping once but tries again.

Leon is under him and tries to help the old squirrel climb up the rope.

Anomen frowns and waits as he is unsure what to do right now, the guard makes sure the rope is held tightly so the two beasts can climb up it.

Drew finishes getting out and coughs roughly and looks up at the guard that helped them and passes out.

Leon climbs the rest of the way up and starts to tend to Drew. he coughs a little himself and speaks "Need some of the herbs..just throw me the pack Anomen."

Anomen nods and tosses over the pack, the other guard stays close by and watches for any signs of trouble, "Should I head back to the abbey now?"

Drew shivers as he is cold, ill from the night before and falling into a flooded, raging ditch didn’t help matters.

Leon digs in the pack, he frowns and then smiles as he finds what he was looking for, feverfew and a small amount of willow bark, added to a small vile with warm water and he shakes it and gives it to Drew, he also checks for wounds, if any. He himself has a cut on one paw, but he still works on Drew.

Anomen sighs, he nods to the other guard to go ahead to the abbey and he sits down on a tree stomp, "Is he going to be ok?"

Drew is passed out now, a small injury to his ankle but the bandage helps and he has a fever from being ill before all this happen.

Leon nods as he finishes banding Drew’s ankle, "I think so, I have more herbs in my infirm" He frowns at his own paw now noting the cut and sighs, “wonderful"

Anomen stands walking over, “Should I of had the other guard stay to...help him back to the abbey?"

Drew stirs a little and shivers, still cold from the fall in the ditch but probably won’t be fully awake for a couple hours yet.

Leon looks at Anomen, "Let’s get back to the abbey as its warmer there and can get some dry clothing and get him to the infirm"

--Abbey Infirm—

Anomen looks around the infirm as they enter and helps Drew to a cot, this after he gets a dry tunic for him and sits in a nearby chair as he sighs.

Drew is laid down on the cot, but doesn’t so much for now.

Leon walks in, he speaks with a novice before getting himself some dry clothing and placing his robe back on, he walks over to tend to his own paw applying a mixture he keeps in here and looks at the bandage trying to figure out the best way to get it on himself as its rare he tends to a wound that’s his.

Anomen sighs, "Maybe I shouldn’t of went looking for him, then he wouldn’t of gotten mad, he wouldn’t of fell into the ditch and almost drowned and you wouldn’t of had to go help him." He notices the paw "You ok?"

Leon nods slowly "I am fine, applied herbs for infection and swelling, now just need the bandage" He cuts a size for his paw and precedes to try and bandage his right paw, he grumbles as he does get it around his paw but tieing it in place, that’s a different story.

Anomen frowns "You sure you don’t need help, not that I am good with..bandages"

Nissaya enters the infirmary, having been told that some beast had come through the abbey injured. He raises an eyebrow as he spots Leon and Anomen almost instantly, but also noting that a certain otter is no longer here. "Leon, are you alright?"

Leon sighs and looks at the white furred otter, "I am fine, just need the bandage on my paw adjusted better and tied, got a cut on it from a rock and already applied herbs to it."

Nissaya hesitantly walks closer to Leon. "Do you want me to help?"

Leon nods "Yes it would be good, not had the best morning"

Nissaya chuckles, moving to fix the bandage, making it tighter, yet snug, and leaving a nice little knot that won't be coming out anytime soon. "There, does that feel better?"

Leon nods and smiles "Thanks, had to dive in the ditch earlier, wasn’t enjoyable"

Nissaya raises an eyebrow. "Really now? Would you like me to get you some tea so you can tell me about it?"

Leon nods "Yes we can go to Cavern Hole"

Nissaya nods in agreement. "Sure! Let's go ahead and head down, and I can make us some tea."

Leon heads down, tried and tea will be welcomed.
