Setting Sail - Floaters
Characters: Aikuen, Sebastian
Location: Great South Stream
Its morning. Dawn to be exact, with the nice pinkish sky, and half of the sun over the horizon. Sebastian is already up! He had polished his sword and then set somewhere near the river, doing some pushups. With one hand! His morning routine continuing quite nicely as he tries to be as quiet as a beast his size can be so he doesn't wake anyone else.
Ah morning. The perfect time for... BREAKFAST! Ah yeah. And who better to appreciate the fine subtleties of brekkers than our very own Aik! He yawns as he goes by the river. Thinking about having his morning noms with a light dip in the water. Hoping he doesn't wake anyone as well. So he is quite surprised to see the badger here. He smiles a bit a he walks around him. Watching. Before hoping in the water. A sandwich in his mouth. And a nice cooling splash to follow.
Sebastian notices Aik once he jumps into the water. He hums a little and looks away, the arm that was behind his back giving a bit of a wave to the otter. "Morning." he calls out quietly with a smile, looking around to see if anyone else is up, but seeing no one, he just pays attention to Aik, and his pushups.
Aikuen goes to rest on the side of the bank as he goes to eat. Waving back at the badger, "Morning Seb" he says brightly. And being lazy against the side, "Having fun?" he asks.
Sebastian switches arms and chuckles a little bit. "Eh. I suppose so." he thinks. "Your up early. Or maybe your always up early." he laughs a bit and shrugs. "Slept well then I take it?" he asks
Aikuen shrugs, "I'm usually up early. Depends on where and how im sleepin. but im usually the first one up!" he waves at Seb, "Well. Of course. Except for you now." he chuckles, "So... Yeah! I did sleep well! How about you?" he asks taking a big OLE bite of his food.
Sebastian nods slowly and hums slightly. "Ah. I see." he smirks. "I'm generally up before dawn." He nods. "Gets me time to do my work out and grab a swim before I do anything." he nods.
Aikuen nods, "I used to work out. I used to do one pawed pull ups. But when i pulled my back out of socket for the millionth time. I gave up on that. Im getting to old for it anyhow." he chuckles, "Though Swiming. Ill do. Even if it would kill me!"
"Of course you would." Seb chuckles before sitting down properly. "Your an otter. They're born to swim" he nods with a smile. "So." he thinks as he looks around for a few moments
Aikuen winks at him, "Bingo-Bango Seb" he then looks a round with the badger. Wondering if he saw something or not, "Sooooo?" he asks back.
Sebastian smiles and stands up. "Hm? Oh, nothing." he nods. "Just looking around." he says before vanishing behind the cart, out of view of every beast as he quickly changes into a pair of shorts. He steps out and then dives into the river...splashing more then Aik did before he surfaces. "Mm...morning dips are good." he nods.
Good thing Aik is pretty much almost done with his sandwich. AS the tidal wave of water comes over him. Caused by the badger. He drops the bite or two left into the water, "I was done anyway." he smirks at him before laughing.
Sebastian takes a breath and chuckles a bit. "Heh. Sorry." he hums a bit and smiles a little, scratching his chest. "Didn't mean to make you lose the last of your breakfast." he hums then shrugs. "Heh."
Aikuen chuckles, "Its alright matey. I was done!" he grins, putting his paws behind his head, "Now! Its just time to max and relax." he ahhhhhh loudly, "Dont let me stop you from swimming around!" he chuckles.
Sebastian swims around, nodding slowly, the badger chuckling. "Pretty much." he nods before smiling. "I wont." he then looks around at the others on the shore. "So. Kentar and the other stoats..." he hums. "How long have you known them?" he asks.
Aikuen he looks toward the others as well, "Kentar and the others?" he hrms, "A bit more than year by now i suppose." he nods, "That seems about right. The rat about year and a season." he nods a bit more, "They have been my friends since then"
Sebastian ahs and smiles a little. "Good." he nods. "Sorry if I seem on edge around them. I'm not used to...good vermin." he nods. "Even around Flicktail, I'm on edge." he nods. "Force of being a badger I suppose."
Aikuen nods a bit, "I figured as much. Glad you didn't just come up and kill us!" he chuckles, "But. As long as you remain. Well. Dormant. Then we should get along swimmingly." he grins.
Sebastian nods slowly and chuckles. "Well. As long as I have no reason to fight you or them, I'll gladly be your friend." he nods then laughs at the joke, shaking his head slowly. "Funny.' he smiles, trying his best to float around, managing it slightly, but sort of sinking a little bit more then he should.
Aikuen hrms as he closes his eyes, "Well. We should give you no reason too. Hopefully. Can never be to sure of course. But it should be nothing cause your who you are." he nods then creaks and eye open, "Oh? What is funny?" he smirks.
Sebastian nods slowly and smiles, then laughs. "Who am I, Aikuen?" he asks, tilting his head with a smile then smirks. "Oh, nothing. Nothing at all." he replies with a nod as he starts to drift towards shore.
Aikuen chuckles, "Well. Your a woodlander. And not only that. A badger. So i can see the automatic anger that might come about!" he chuckles as he goes, "Your strange. Who know that right?" he chuckles.
Sebastian ahs and laughs a little. "True, true." he then sits up onto the bank, nodding. "I know I am." he smirks. "I've always been strange." he laughs.
Aikuen goes to float toward the bank as well, "Glad that you know then! I can be a little silly. If the time is right. And i feel like it!" he chuckles.
