As Mossflower woods are about to descend into icly chaos with the arrival of the next TP I thought it would be a good time to talk about some of the sights and places to visit in the game.

We have a lot of new players here this month so I thought we could share with them the sights to see in the game. There are a LOT of places to visit. There are just as many groups, hordes, towns, and armies in the game that are either cannon with the books or player made. For this forum topic feel free to mention any place or group you would like to see used more of or just let us know what is icly happening with them. Please also leave directions on how to get to them.

First up there are the major RP hot spots, Redwall and Ferreval. Redwall is the easiest to get to with a portal leading strait to their door step. For those who haven't read the book Redwall is the beacon of goodness and decency across the land of Mossflower. It is populated by woodlanders mostly with some vermin mingled in. Ferreval, run by Scioto is the home for Vermin about 6-8 steps north of the redwall portal. Come to the bridge then turn west. Not as peaceful but not violent either.

Blackgull Tavern Usually used as the halfway point between Redwall and Ferreval this is a good location to conduct your shady shenanigans and plotting against the heroes while having a cool mug of mead. About 4 steps north of Redwall.

Arundal and Beggar's Pass You don't think I would start a forum topic about sights to see and blatantly advertise the stuff I made do you :3 well, in reality its a community project that everyone is welcome to toss ideas at it. Arundal its self is a woodlander village with a vermin mining town just north of it. The two groups get along like oil and water. Below Arundal are the ruins of some great underground city that is home to a tribe of lizards and the thieves guild. Currently the mayor of Arundal has been arrested for treason and awaiting trial. Beggar's pass is 1 step north of Black Gull, 2-3 steps east, 1 step south. Run by Dylan.

Collinsen I hoped I spelled that right. Collinsen is a large fortress city. It has castles, walls, and other things you would expect to find in a large land locked medi evil city. I can't say for sure who owns it or what species is allowed there since it hasn't been used since the days we had wolf alts here which is long before my time. to get there take the portal to redwall, head north across the bridge and turn when you see the path to collinsen. head east past the fort.

Kanezzar's Horde Starting out as a horde of rats under the rulership of a ferret Kane's horde has grown large enough to use other beasts as well. I'm not sure if the player who made the horde is still playing the game, but he has said anyone was welcome to join his horde as cannon fodder to warlords and is free to spoof his horde beasts when ever they want too. Kane's horde is just south of the eastern land portal

JuskaRun by the player of Heskra this is another tribe of vermin horde beasts but not in the traditional sense. Page mail Heskra for more details and location.

Moss Flower Militia Player made group of npcs. Tired of horde beasts trampling over mossflower these woodlanders have banded together to run vermin out of their woods. Unfortunetly they veiw ALL vermin as hostile, and generally only succeed in make the woods even more chaotic. Led by the npc Luco and my alt Tavis. There is no physical camp to go to.

Camp WillowOtter village accessible from the eastern lands portal. I sent my snake npc Ageless to attack the place to encourage people to rp there a while back...which i haven't used yet >.> I don't know what else is going on there at the moment or the exact way to get to it. Run by Hallow

TussockA mining town up north of the bridge.

Aclidia Away from the Hustle and bustle of Mossflower this city is what would happen if Rome had been a power house in Medi Evil Europe. As I said, mostly roman like culture, slavery is not looked at as evil, home to a thieves guild outlet and did we say run by vermin? Accessed by using the portal to the western lands then heading due south and over a hill.

SAL I call it SAL because Salandmanderstron is hard to spell :3 home to badger lords and hares they form the fighting Long Patrol. Very anti vermin place, the village of Haylard to the south is a mix of creatures. Currently the long patrol is looking for members. Run by Sebastian. Accessable via western lands portal.

How about you forum goers? Want to add any places I missed or maybe elaborate on the places I mentioned?
