Scioto Has Had A Bad Week, He Needs An Ale

Scioto walks into the center of town, alongside him a weasel from the guards and they talk quietly and the guard excuses himself and heads to the tavern leaving Scioto standing alone. He has since cleaned up after the recent week and nothing is out of place but a bandage seen on his lower arm near the elbow area as he has his shorter sleeved tunic on for now.

Walking along through the town center is a rather regal looking fox. Aiden was just planning to walk through the town and get updates from the various guards, but then his purple eyes settled on a familiar sight, and his eyes actually widened slightly. Quickly, he changed course and began to jog towards Scioto. "Scioto!" He exclaims.

Scioto turns to the voice to see the fox and waits till the fox gets to him before speaking, "Greetings, Aiden" He says calmly. "It is good to see you, can't say this has been the best week so far."

The fox winces slightly at the statement. "Ah I can imagine,"He says slowly. "I assume by now you've seen your office?"

Scioto frowns at this and looks to be holding back his anger, "Yes, I have seen it and am not happy. And no one has found who did this yet." His ears lay flat "Then again the storm may have covered any clues and tracks that would have been found. I admit the storm came up suddenly and was rather bad, but at least we got the villagers safely in somewhere and most were out of the weather."

After a moment of hesitation, Aiden nods as well. "I'm still working on figuring out who did this, but with the storm having come through, it'll be nye on impossible without a miracle." He replies. "I do apologize that I couldn't have had this under control."

Scioto closes his eye and takes a deep breath mentally counting to ten and then opens it again, "For now, you are forgiven. But next time make sure guards under your command pay better attention to whats going on around them. I should NEVER have to see my office like that again is that clear?" He stays as calm as he can seeing as it's clear he has not only this, but other things on his mind. "Also, just in case have a guard posted to watch Astra while she is in the infirm, me and her were ambushed on the dirt road and I don't want anything happening to her"

Throwing a smart salute, Aiden nods. "You've got it sir," He replies smartly. He knew it would be better to just go along with Scioto in this instance. "The guards in question will be reprimanded, and I will have one of my best watching Astra. Shall I send some to straighten out the office?"

Scioto nods. "That would be a good idea, the office needs repaired soon and I am gonna have to speak with the carpenter on replacing the desk and shelf"

Aiden nods once again in reply. "I will get them right on that," He says. "Is that all you require of me?"

Scioto nods "For now" He then looks towards the Tavern "I will be in the tavern if I am needed, report to me on anything found out about who broke into my office"

This elicits one more nod. "I will certainly do that," he replies. "I promise you I will not disappoint you a second time."

Scioto nods and then turns to head to the tavern; he hasn't had a good drink in a few days.
