Robin and Hannah

From Redwall MUCK Wiki

Characters: Robin, Hannah

Location: Moledeep

Moledeep: Dibbun's Garden

Its a fairly cold day out by the pond. Robin is bundled up in a heavy coat, and mitts and a scarf. He's sitting by the pond, staring into to the clouded sky, frowning to himself. "I hate clouds." he mutters.

Hannah comes onto the scene, wearing a shawl that, as she said when she put the thing on, makes her look like an old, fat jill. She still put it on as it was cold and she holds it close as she steps into the garden.

Robin looks up at the land behind him, which of course, makes everything look upside down. He smiles as he sees the other stoat, sitting up quickly and waving. "Hey." he calls out with a smile.

Hannah shivers a little from a small breeze coming by her before she sees the hob sit up and wave, giving him a wave back, "Hello there!" She offers a smile, "How about this weather?" She giggles, walking over.

Robin smiles then laughs a little bit. "What about it? Aside from that it is horrible." he frowns. "But that's fall for you." he nods, standing up. "How are you, Hannah?" He asks, tilting his head a little bit.

Hannah chuckles softly and nods, "Yes, that is certainly Fall. And I am doing fine, Robin, thanks. How about yourself? Other than sulking about this weather?"

Robin laughs a little bit and shrugs. "I'm not sulking." he nods. "Doing good. I'm a little tired. Didn't sleep last night." He says, stuffing his paws in his pockets.

Hannah awws softly and asks, "Why didn't you sleep last night?"

Robin chuckles and shrugs. "I don't know. Just thought about stuff is all." he nods.

Hannah nods and says, "I didn't much sleep, either. For some reason, I just kept tossing and turning. I don't even really know why."

Robin nods a little and chuckles softly. "Maybe the child of yours didn't want you to sleep." he chuckles.

Hannah giggles softly and nods, "That is probably it." She strokes her belly and says, "Thanks for teaching me to read, Robin. It means a lot."

Robin laughs a little bit. "Ah, don't worry about it." he smiles. "Every beast needs to read. So it only makes sense for someone to teach you. I just offered first." he nods.

Hannah smiles at the hob and says, "Still, I want to thank you. It was very thoughtful of you to do so."

Robin chuckles a little. "Well. I try to be as thoughtful as I can!" he chuckles with a nod. "I'll have you reading in no time at all!"

Hannah smiles and says, "I can't wait to read books to my child..."

Robin smiles and nods slowly. "And I'm sure your child will love everything you read." he smiles.

Hannah smiles softly and blushes a little before she starts scratching her ear.

Robin chuckles a little. "Something wrong?" he asks, tilting his head at the ear scratching.

Hannah shakes her head, "No, no...just..." she blushes a little before saying, "I like your smile."

Robin huhs a little and turns slightly red, scratching at his own ear now before realizing he was doing it. "Oh..." he smiles a little. "T-thanks!"

Hannah nods and scratches her ear again, "You're welcome..."

Robin looks around and scratches the back of his head. "So. What brought you out to the pond today?" He asks. "Surely you're not wanting to go for a swim!" he laughs.

Hannah giggles softly and shrugs, "Thought I would come to the pond and just sit and thought. Or...meet someone..."

Robin chuckles a little bit and nods. "Ah, yeah. That's what I was doing." he then tilts his head a little. "Or meet someone?" he asks.

Hannah nods and says, "Well...it kind of...has already happened just now." she giggles, scratching her ear.

Robin laughs a bit and smiles. "Yeah. You met me when you came to the pond." he nods.

Hannah nods and says, "And to tell the truth, I was hoping I would run into you."

Robin hums and tilts his head. "Oh?" he asks. "Why's that?"

Hannah bites her lower lip a bit, "Well...just...I feel..." she thinks a moment before saying, "Comfortable...around you."

Robin ohs a little bit and smiles slightly. "Oh. Well." he nods. "Don't feel comfortable around the other's here?" he asks, tilting his head.

Hannah chuckles and says, "Yes, I am comfortable around them, just...moreso...with you, I guess..."

Robin ahs and nods a little bit. "Oh, okay." he smiles some before looking around. "Well. I'm glad then!" he chuckles. "Thought you didn't like the other's for some reason."

Hannah shakes her head, "No, no! They are all very, very nice creatures. I wouldn't understand why someone wouldn't like them...unless they were true vermin...the ones that do nothing but kill and ravage."

Robin laughs a little bit. "Yeah. True enough." he nods. "But dad only does that when he's bored." he pauses.

Hannah tilts her head, "Wait...wha?"

Robin laughs a little and waves his paws. "I'm just kidding, I'm just kidding!" he laughs.

Hannah ohs and rolls her eyes before giggling aloud.

Robin laughs and nods. "Hehe, sorry. I couldn't resist!" he smiles.

Hannah gives a playful nudge, "So I've noticed!"

Robin chuckles and ows, falling over. "Hey, ow! That wasn't fair!" he sniffles.

Hannah blinks and says, "I didn't even push hard. I don't know how!"

Robin blinks then laughs, rolling on the ground once or twice. "Got you twice in a row!" he laughs.

Hannah looks up at the clouds, "Good laws...."

Robin chuckles and stands up, smiling as he stands next to her. "Yeah. Well. I'll stop it now." he chuckles.

Hannah giggles and walks over, "At least you have a sense of humor." She giggles.

Robin laughs and nods. "Yeah. I do." He smiles before yawning. "Oh. Sorry."

Hannah giggles and says, "You should probably take a nap some time today. You really look like you're tired."

Robin shrugs a little bit. "Ah, I'll be fine." he nods slowly with a smile before thinking. "Want to go inside?" he asks. "Where it's warm and there's somewhere for you to sit?"

Hannah nods and shivers a bit, "Yes. It is rather chilly out here."

Robin notes the shiver and then takes his jacket off, putting it over her shoulders. "Yeah. It is. Come on then, lets go inside." he smiles.

Hannah smiles, "Thank you," as Robin puts the jacket on her and nods, "Yes. Let's head inside." She offers a paw.

Robin smiles at the paw and takes it, sliding is arm around her shoulders to both keep the jacket from falling and to keep her warm as they go.

Moledeep: Mole Hall

Hannah phews and shivers a bit, getting adjusted to the much warmer temperature of the inside of Mole Hall.

Robin leads her into the hall before letting go, taking the jacket and hanging it up, stuffing his mitts and scarf into the sleeve. "There we go. Much nicer." he smiles. "Would you like a cup of tea or something to help warm you up?"

Hannah removes her shawl and hangs it up as well before turning to Robin and replying, "Oh, yes, that would be very much appreciated. Though you don't have to dote on me, Robin, really."

Robin chuckles a little and nods. "Right away." he says before vanishing into the kitchens, not hearing the last bit of her sentence.

Hannah blinks and looks around, "Wow..." she shakes her head slowly and chuckles before finding a chair, seating herself down carefully, hand holding her pregnant belly.

Robin comes back carrying a tray with two teacups and a very hot kettle with the tea inside. He sets it on the table and pours out her cup first, handing it over before pouring his own and sitting in a chair near her.

Hannah smiles, accepting the tea and says, "Now...as I said, you really don't have to dote on me, Robin." She smiles, sipping the tea, "Though...the tea is good."

Robin chuckles. "I'm just being nice!" he nods before nodding, sipping at his own cup. "Yeah, it is." he smiles.

Hannah chuckles and takes another drink of the tea before saying, "Thanks, though."

Robin smiles softly and nods slowly. "You're very welcome."
