So I know most people like to keep themselves and their identities private on here, or at least as far as I can tell, not that I'm complaining about that xD

So this whole question came into my mind while I was reading an old forum post about Anthrocon, and I thought to myself 'Wow, I commented that I wouldn't be able to go, and I actually did end up being able to go. Wouldn't it have been cool if I'd had that person added on facebook or twitter or something in order to quickly tell him/her that?'

My main thing being that I feel like being connected a little further might be a little cooler! I mean, we roleplay together, and we joke around and talk together, so why not be friends? I know some people don't really consider internet 'friends' actual friends, but I still think it'd be pretty neat. You could coordinate for rps and stuff, which you normally can't do or anything, and you can even talk about ideas instead of having to do it on the muck if one person doesn't happen to be at the computer at that moment.

I guess it's not really much of a question, but rather more of me just thinking. It's nothing I want to push on everyone. Again, from what I've seen, people here like their privacy, but I just thought it was an idea that'd be cool to share.
