Problem with My Character

So, alas... I'm getting tired of Lacota the Future Friar. He has become boring to me. He never *does* anything. Nothing ever happens to him. He's becoming hum drum, and I do not like that one bit.

I am sorry if this sounds whiny or petty, but Lacota has become too blah for my interest. Nothing EVER happens to him anymore, his life is so perfect now that he's getting to be stuck in a rut. I don't want anything major to happen to him, but why can't he ever be a part of a plot or something?

Frankly, I think everyone forgets him sometimes, since he seems to be becoming a background character.
