Order of the Red Dawn

Based in the Mountains south of Salamandastron and just north of The Great South Stream lies the home this Order was created to protect. Carved into the very mountain itself is the Fortress-Abbey of The Order, ready for the beasts of the surrounding immediate town-land and farms to retreat into should the land come under attack by any horde foolish enough to try. Compound that with the fact that Salamandastron is so close by; the area is kept rather free from attack and allows the retired order beasts and civilians to live in relative peace.

Due to this stability the Order's elected leader has decided to set up an Outpost on the west side of Mossflower at the behest of his Son, Timothy. This outpost is an earthen fort of earth and stone; making the walls hard to scale without good siege equipment. Inside of it's walls lies enough space for growing crops, a well and an Abbey-Barracks Complex that goes above the earth about 40 feet and below as far as the engineers could conceivably go to fit in as much housing space for the Order-Beasts as possible.

The typical member of the Order can be just about any species and will be equipped with a set of Javelins, a melee weapon of some sort, chain mail, and the Symbol of the Order: A large steel-rimmed wooden round shield that will typically cover most of the wearer's body. All Order members have been trained from their second season in the arts of combat and learning; These skills are practiced rigorously and tested in as many ways as possible to ensure the Warrior will be effective in any sort of combat he is drawn into. And while it is no guarantee of constant success it certainly makes them a tough foe for any enemy more often than not.

(I'll add more eventually, but if you want to join this group you'll need to make a character that has been under training since their second season. Otherwise you'll just have to be a retainer for the offshoot in Mossflower)
