Characters: Kentar, Aikuen, Garnet

Location: Moledeep; Molehall

Its been a few hours since Robin left and Kentar has spent most of it crying in the pillow of his room. But he decided that its time to face life again. He tiredly comes out from the sleeping hall and heads for the kitchen, pretty much ignoring anyone whom is in the room right at the moment until he's got his drink.

The stoat needn't gone far. True to his word. Aikuen brought out a small jug with three x's labeled on it, on the table. The so called, legendary... Hard stuff. Also is out is a basket of scones and cheese. Hard food to go with it as well. Aikuen has been talking to Garnet for past hour or so. Fira even came in as well. Before she went outside with the kids and try to explain the situation to them. Leaving the stoat and otter alone. Until Kentar came in that is. But they dont say anything just yet.

Kentar manages to catch the jug out of the corner of his eye, just vanishing into the kitchen and returning with a large mug, sitting down and setting it on the table. "I can't believe I'm about to ask, but is that the strongest thing we've got?" he asks, holding his mug out.

Aikuen watches as the stoat returns, nodding slowly, "Aye... The strongest stuff around... I usually use it to start big fires. But thought it would be better drunked for today..." he hrms. Garnet has a bit of a tiny glass in front of her. She stopped after the first one. As she just stares at the basket.

Kentar nods slowly and sighs. "I thought we agreed never to drink again." he sighs, motioning to the mug. "Fill it up then." he sighs, resting his head on the table, watching Aik quietly, shaking his head slowly.

Aikuen shakes his head, "I haven't had a drop. Was supposed to be for you and Garnet..." he motions to her glass. Before grabbing the jug by the small loop handle and just splashing a bit into the mug. Before setting it back down.

Kentar takes the mug and stares at it with a nod. "I'm a little surprised your not having any. But I'm extremely glad. I didn't like you drunk." he thinks. "And I'm glad I'm a tired drunk." he hehs slightly, taking the longest drink from the mug he can possibly get.

Aikuen wrinkles a nose at him, "I wouldn't dream of it... I know i'm an angry drunk..." he sighs, "But...Slow down matey. This stuff can kill a beast... Another reason why i hide it." he nods again.

Kentar hums a little and slams the mug down on the table, having pretty much emptied it. "I'm sure." he sighs, sliding his mug over for a top off. "Why did they have to show up? Why? Why couldn't they have just waited till we left for the boat trip?" he sighs. "There's no way I can look forward to that now."

Aikuen does not top off the stoat. He just looks at the stoat intently, "I have no idea. Wars wait for know beast. Though Why they came all the way out here still alludes me..." he shakes his head, "Well... I was talking to Garnet about it... Thinking about postponing the trip again. Just until we find out from Robin. I want this is be fun. And if we spend the entire time worrying about him... Maybe we should just wait here..." he nods slowly.

Kentar stares at Aik and motions to the mug slowly. "No. We're not putting it off. It will be a good distraction. I hope." he sighs, leaning back into his seat, looking to Garnet for a few moments then back to the mug and the jug.

Aikuen still wont fill it up, "If you are sure. This is much as your trip... Or mine. Or Wills for that matter." Garnet tries to smile at the stoat. But cant really. She drags a claw over the glass. Seem like she is already a bit on the buzzed side of things.

Kentar nods. "I'm sure." he sighs. "Please fill the mug up." he says quietly, staring at it. "Then you can put it away I guess." he thinks for a few moments, nodding. "Yeah. I guess..." he thinks.

Aikuen hrms, "Okay. But this is it..." he then goes to pour about halfway of the mug again. Before picking up the cork for it and shoving it in there, "Thats more than most beasts can handle..." he sighs, "Though... I can see why..."

Kentar takes the mug and just stares vacantly at it. He sighs and just pushes it away, keeping his paw around it though as he puts his head on one arm. "I dunno.' he mutters quietly. "I was in a war there before. It ended with the village being burned to the ground. I dunno if I can lose him. I really don't know."

Aikuen nods slightly, "But. You did survive that... And he is pretty much like you..." he shrugs lightly and looks toward the stoat mug, "Just better not to think of things like that..."

Kentar downs the half a mug and yawns, sinking back into his chair. "Yeah. I guess." he sighs. "But my survival was a mistake." he says. "I wasn't supposed to be on that patrol when the village was burned. I was supposed to be at home." he says, eye read as anything from the crying. "I love that stoat. I didn't think I ever could after what him and Bale did, but, he's my son. I just...I dunno." he shakes his head.

Aikuen hrms, "Just... Just don't think about it. He will be fine. He will return safely. Probably covered in medals if i know him..." he shakes his head, "I love him too mate. Ive grown to love the little buggar...Almost like a son" he sighs, "It will be alright... Just keep telling yourself that"

Kentar nods slowly with a quiet chuckle. "He's my son, you can't have him." he nods once and hehs. "I'm going to go bake." he stands up. "When I'm sad...and a little drunk...I bake." he nods. "Baking is good." he starts towards the kitchen.

Aikuen winks slightly at the stoat, "There yah go mate. Smile. Things will be getting better." he then nods, "Okay then mate. Ill be outside if you need me..." he stands taking the bottle with him. Garnet makes and does to follow the stoat into the kitchen. Going to help him. And just be there for him. Before Aikuen leaves the tunnel as well.
