New to MUCKing

Hello! I'm Eros. A few years ago I was very active in the ROC, but as various websites started to go inactive I left the community. A friend of mine: "AaronTheWanderer" recommended this site to me last night and I joined this morning. Most of my time has been spent wandering around Mossflower, however, I am not very familiar with MUCKing [My former experience was confined to Fprums and a LARP group] I've read through the tutorial so I know the basic commands, my main question that I have not been able to find is how to change my status from OOC to IC?

Other than that I'm glad to have been directed to this wonderful website and hope to become an active part of this community. ^_^
