Characters: Kentar and Will, Aikuen, Fira, Chris, Amy

Location: Moledeep, The River Moss

Moledeep: Telchar's Smithy Stall

Kentar has been sort of dragged out to the smithy today. He was already stressed out and didn't really want to try to get the smithy working, but he didn't resist much. But, he did light up his new pipe, smoking it as he went for the smithy. That really did change his mood. "So, how long has it been since the smithy was up and running?" he asks.

Will shrugs, "Don't know. Probably hasn't been used since whoever used t live here left. Who knows when that was. Long before I found this place that's for sure."

Kentar nods a little then chuckles slightly. "Does it even work?" the stoat asks, tilting his head a little.

Will shrugs again, "How would I know. There's no fire in th furnace if that's what you mean. No beast's tried t get it up an running yet or t see if it works."

Kentar nods a little. "Alright." he says quietly before going towards the smithy when they get there. "Hm. Nice I guess." he looks around and then tries to see if he can get it working.

Will goes to sit on the bench while the stoat works not wanting to get in the way. "I'll be over here til ya need me, ok," he calls over to his brother.

Kentar nods a little then thinks for a moment. "Can you please get me some wood, Will?" he asks. "I want to start up the furnace to see if it works."

The rat nods and walks off to find wood for the furnace.

Kentar watches Will go off and then blows a bit of smoke out of his nose down towards the ground before going to clean out the furnace first so that when he lights it, it wont burn down or anything.

Will returns some time later with his arms full of logs and lays them down by the stoat, "That enough or do I need t get more?" he asks

Kentar nods and smiles a little. "Thanks. It should be enough." he takes one by one and stacks them into the furnace, then looks around a little for something to light it with

"Need anything else?" the rat asks, watching Kentar from the bench again.

Kentar thinks for a few moments then uses his pipe to light it, the stoat stepping back as it catches fire, then places the pipe back in his muzzle. "Uh. I don't know."

The rat watches the logs catch fire and idlily looks around the smithy stall. "Think any of this stuff is worth keeping around?" he asks, nodding at the metal projects that had been left behind by the smithy's last owner, many in various stages of completion.

Kentar shrugs a little and looks around. "Yeah. I can try to finish these things. I guess." he nods and the fire gets much bigger now. "Perfect. Works."

Will nods a little and watches the fire grow bigger. "You gonna try an make something now that th fire's going?" he asks, not knowing how these things work.

Kentar smiles a little then shrugs. "Probably not right now. I need to let it work for a few hours before I do anything. And because I need metal to work with."

Will blinks, "There's lot of metal laying around all over here and a lot of pieces in that box over there," he points to the bin full of scrap metal.

Kentar looks about and ohs. "Yeah. Sorry." he chuckles. "I was thinking probably new, better metal."

Will ohs and shrugs, "Don't know where you'd get that. .... So you gonna let th fire burn a while and then put it out or does it need t be burning all th time?"

Kentar nods and shrugs. "I'm going to leave it burning for a few hours to get it back into shape and as for metal, I'll go to the market soon to find some I guess."

Will nods, "Ok."

Kentar goes over to Will and smiles. "Can you get some more wood and stack them over there?" he points to a corner that's empty.

Will nods again,"Yeah," and hop down off the bench to go get more wood.

Kentar sits down and smokes a bit more before putting the pipe out and setting it away, waiting for Will to come back.

The rat returns with more wood shortly and sets it in order where the stoat had wanted it. "How long are we gonna do this?" he asks beginning to tire of the smithy since nothing appears to be happening from his point of view.

Kentar shrugs. "Till tomorrow at least, but we've got enough wood for now." he smiles then stands and reaches into his pocket, pulling out about ten gold, handing it over. "Here. First day's pay." he grins a little.

Will eyes the coins a minute and asks, "Are you sure? That's a lot of money for just getting some wood."

Kentar grins. "Take it." he says. "First day's pay. Just moving wood, yes, but still, your pay. Take it."

Will shrugs and takes the money, "If you say so."

Kentar nods and smiles. "I say so. Now. Lets get going, shall we?" he smiles. "Will. I don't often do things with you. I mean I go with you to the market, but. Other then that, I'm not much of a brother."

The rat is puzzled, "Yes you are. Maybe not as much in some ways now the you're married and go kids but you're still my brother and act like it."

Kentar nods a little. "I am a brother to you, yeah, but not quite what I meant. I don't do much with you. Your a dibbun, you should be bugging me to play something." he smirks a little.

Will shrugs, "I used to but I don't do that as much anymore. I'm .... I'm me. I'm not like other dibbuns."

Kentar can't help but to laugh. "What do you mean your...you?"

Will chews on his lower lip a while, "Th way I am. You know what I mean."

The rat chews on his lip more then says, "You'll figure it out. And if you don't. Not my problem."

Kentar frowns a little. "Something wrong Will?" he asks. "I'm your brother. And your friend. You can tell me anything."

The rat blinks not expecting this answer. "Really?" he asks surprised, ".... other dibbuns murder beasts when they're mad?" It just comes out and he does consider the death of Snive to have been murder even though he wasn't in his right mind at the time.

Kentar blinks a little. "Well. The ones I used to know, yeah. That was part of our training when we were young. Use your anger on others. Was told it was a great ally, which it isn't. But yes. I am used to things like that." he says.

Will chews on his lip, "That's strange. .... I used t act like that a lot .... but I wasn't taught t act that way, I just did it!" He worries at his lip some more thinking this over.

Kentar nods a little and thinks for a moment, gently placing his paw on the rat's shoulder. "Don't worry Will. Its fine. I really is fine. I've murdered many beasts over rage in my time. It happens." he acts as if its nothing.

Will scowls at the stoat and pushes his paw away, "It's not fine. Yes it happens but it didn't have to. Pa was gonna let him go and I ripped his throat out for no /good/ reason, with my teeth!" He walks around the stall agitated for a while then glance at the furnace. He looks away and grumbles, "Wish we had a kiln round here. ...." before walking off towards the woods.

Kentar sighs a little and watches Will. "Sorry I brought it up." he sighs and tilts his head. When Will is gone, he thinks for a moment. The stoat stands and vanishes as well, going somewhere.

Will is gone a very long time. He had gone off to get clay to work with and thus calm himself down but he'd gotten sidetracked at some point and wandered off exploring planing to return soon as he was calm again, but the thought to go back kept getting pushed aside in favor of going just a little farther. He would have been gone all the rest of the day but he remembered what had happened the last time he'd forgotten to say where he was going and not wanting Aikuen to find out he'd wandered off without leaving word again he quickly hurries back to Moledeep and the smithy stall.

Kentar has been working quite a bit since Will was gone. He'd taken a huge bloody stone, probably a bolder or something, and was breaking away at the insides of it, working as hard and as fast as he can to make a good oven type cavity big enough for lots of wood. He's working so hard right now, he might actually break himself doing it. And yes, he's working just outside the stall, not in it.

Will comes back up to the smithy and sits back down on the bench. He sees what the stoat is making or seems to be making and grins a little. "I'm back. Sorry I didn't say where I was going and sorry for being gone so long. ..... Kentar?" he says not sure if the stoat had noticed his return and hoping that the fact he'd 'wandered off' /again/ doesn't get back to the otters.

Kentar doesn't notice Will even when he speaks, the stoat just working on the carving for now, his body stuck most of the way in the rock as he works. He's obviously worked with rocks before and has no problem with doing something like this.

The rat shrugs and pulls out a book from his pack intiltled 'Chilling Tales of Cluny the Scourge and Other Stories'. It wasn't in there when he'd left but the place he'd found it at had clearly been deserted for quite some time and he liked the book. He sits down to read while the stoat works.

Kentar spends at least another hour without realizing Will is there before he finally pulls himself out of the rock. He falls flat on his tail and yawns. "Wow, I've not done that in ages." he mutters then stands to go to attach some hinges onto it as well as a stone shelf into the middle of it so that things can be sat on it instead of directly in the fire. He attaches a door he had found in the smithy. "There. I think." he rubs the waterfall of sweat from his forehead, the stoat having worked like an insane beast. He turns around to find a towel to dry himself off with but then stops as he sees Will. "Hey! Will!"

Will looks up from the book he'd stolen when Kentar says his name, "Hi. Sorry I didn't say where I was going." He assumes the stoat won't notice the book he's been reading isn't on of theirs or from the Abbey. The rat looks over what the stoat has made barely containing his glee. "Is that what I think it is?" he asks half believing the freshly made kiln would disappear if he were to try and touch it.

Kentar notices the book but doesn't say anything. He smiles at the rock then the rat. "Yep. I made you a kiln. Almost died doing it. Its been ages since I worked with rock and such. But a few hours is really all I needed." he lies. usually it takes days but he did it in hours. He'll probably pass out soon. "All it needs is wood."

Will grins wider, "Wow! Thank you! .... We have wood. I'll go get some. I'll be right back," he lays the open book down on the bench and hurries off to get wood for /his/ kiln.

Kentar pants out and smiles. "Right..." he says before going to the bench and passing out on it, the stoat drenched in his sweat from the hard work. And if he didn't get that sleep now, he'd end up in the infirmary.

After a while Will returns with his arm once again full of logs. He lays them to one side of the new kiln and looks over Kentar's work very closely before kneeling down at the left paw side of it to dig out four deep hallows in the dirt beside it in a row for storing clay in later on.

Kentar wakes up after a while and sits up, still soaked. "MMh..." he yawns then smiles a little. He watches the rat quietly for now. "What do you think?" he asks anyways.

Will looks up from his digging, "It's great!" he says happily. "... How much longer does th fire in th furnace have t burn?" he asks after a moment.

Kentar smiles then looks to the furnace before going over and splashing it out with water. "Doesn't." he says. "Heh."

Will laughs seeing the fire go out so suddenly and clouds of smoke rise from the wet logs, "Good." He looks over the four holes he's dug and because he can he digs a fifth pit for clay just in case.

Kentar nods and chuckles. "Well. When are you going to try it out?" he asks, smiling widely.

Will finishes the last pit and takes some scrap pieces of metal to use as a temporary cover for them until fitted lids can be made for them. "Soon as I get some more clay. Want t come?" he says finally answering the stoat.

Kentar smiles and stands up. "Sure! Now that I've gotten a little rest." he smiles and nods. "So. Lead on young sir!" he smiles, glad he could give his brother such a gift.

Will smiles, "Ok. First to th shed t get buckets, make sure they don't have holes, and t get my spade and one for you. ... should leave a note before we leave. Don't want everyone t wonder where we went too."

Will and Kentar had gone to the garden shed and while the stoat tested the bucket with water from the well the rat went inside to leave a quick note for the otters to make up for is forgetfulness earlier. Soon the pair are off with several buckets, heading toward the River Moss.

The River Moss

Will leads the stoat through the woods and down river a ways from home to a familiar dammed up section of river. "Ok. Set th buckets down on th bank except for one and give me one. Then just follow directions," the rat says unbuckling his belt and laying it on the grass before pulling his shirt off and toss it on top of the belt and sliding into the water with trowel in paw. Soon he's taken his boots off as well and toss them onto the bank. He thinks this was easier the last time when all he'd had on was a pair of trousers and a robe which hadn't stayed on for long once he'd gotten here. He feels around the bank both above and below the waterline and lightly stabs at the bank with his trowel as he lets the bucket Kentar'd given him fill with water.

Kentar follows the rat and nods a little and gives him a bucket, smiling a little, watching and tilting his head. "So. What do I do?" he asks, the stoat tilting his head a little the other way

The rat feels at a large orangey-red patch of earth on the side of the bank with a small hole dug out of it. "Come over here," he instructs the stoat.

Kentar follows the rat and nods, going where told. "Yeah?"

Will motions for the stoat to touch the discolored patch of bank, "Feel that? That's clay. The part under th water is what we need. Th part above th water isn't as good though Benar may be able t use it so we'll leave it for him next time he comes out here for more. You dig th clay out an put it in th bucket with water so it doesn't dry out. Don't mix th colors if ya can help it. There's orange here and lots of brown an red around here too. There's green clay's at th bottom of th river in one spot," he points a little ways off but it's hard to tell where he's trying to point to. "I'll get th green clay. You come down here an fill a bucket with th orange clay and keep watch while I go under."

Kentar watches and then nods a little, taking the shovel and starts to fill the buckets with clay, the stoat watching a little, making sure to stay alert in case anything happens.

Will is lost to view with his bucket, which is full of water now, as he goes under the water to collect the green clay. It's hard work and he has to come up for air every so often making it take longer than it would to dig from the bank.

Kentar watches then stops his digging. "Will. I can hold my breath for a while. Do you want me to go under instead?" he asks.

There is no answer since the rat has already submerged.

Kentar watches a little and waits again before going back to shoveling clay into the bucket.

Will breaks the surface for air and treads water a while before going back under keeping his bucket tucked between his legs when resting so as not to lose it or accidentally dump the clay inside it.

Kentar sees the ratling reappear. "I can go down there if you'd like, I can hold my breath longer." he says, failing to mention he can't quite swim properly.

The rat shakes his head, "Nah, it's ok," before ducking back down under the water.

Kentar nods and then finishes filling the bucket before sitting down.

It takes a while but Will resurfaces and carefully guide his bucket, now full of green clay and river water, to the bank and sets it on shore before cimbing out of the river to sit down himself. "How're ya doing?" he asks turning to Kentar.

Kentar watches the rat set his bucket down and then smiles, shrugging. "I'm tired but doing well, thanks. Why do you ask?"

Will nods, "Yeah, it's work." He grabs an empty bucket and heads back to the water to get more clay from the area Kentar had been working at. "Why wouldn't I ask? You're bucket full? You remember t put water in it?" he asks.

Kentar nods. "Yeah, its full and its also got water." he says.

Will nods some, "Good. I'm gonna fill another bucket and then we can go back and try out th kiln."

Kentar nods. "Right. I'll be here." he chuckles then lays back, smiling to himself.

Will sets the third now filled bucket up on the bank and hauls himself out of the water. "Next time remind me t bring th yoke t carry th buckets with," he says lays down on the bank to rest a bit before they head back home.

Kentar chuckles then nods, taking his bucket and standing, going off behind the rat quickly as they leave the river.

Moledeep: Telchar's Smithy

Will carries his two buckets of clay back to Moledeep and the kiln. He'd heard splashing and laughing coming from the dibbun's garden but was too focused on the klin to stop and investigate it. He sits the buckets down a ways from the kiln leaving Kentar to watch them while he goes to hunt up some lids for the buckets.

Kentar follows then sets the buckets down, looking around and chuckling at the splashing and laughing. He smiles a little but doesn't go out to see yet, wanting to see how Will likes his Kiln.

Will aranges the wood for the kiln like he' seen Benar do at the Abbey then takes out some flint from his pack. He sets the flint on the ground and draws his sword setting it aginst the wood at an angle before taking the flint back up in his free paw. He strikes the flint againts the blade of his sword sending sparks down onto the wood and lighting it as he'd seen Aikuen do countless times for thier campfires. Once the wood starts to burn he closes the door of the kiln and sits back a ways away from it.

Kentar watches the rat stock the kiln and smiles a little. As soon as the kiln is lit, the stoat sits up and grins widely. "Well...It works." he grins. "What do you think Will?" he asks, smiling. Smoke starts to rise from the little chimney thing.

Will glance over at Kentar then walks over to one of the buckets to get some clay, making sure to replace the lid tightly on it to keep the water in. "Th fire's started but it still need t get hot enough and be really tested before ya can really say it works.

Kentar nods. "Yeah." he says. "But at least it's not burned down yet or anything." he laughs.

Will blinks, "Rocks burn?" he asks. "Guess th stall here," he points to wooden part of the smithy, "could but I don't think th kiln will. Could crack if it can't withstand th heat though .... don't know."

Kentar laughs. "No, rocks don't burn. It was a joke. Usually when I build stuff that needs a fire, it burns down."

Will ohs, "Sorry." He nods toward a bucket, "You still want t learn how t make stuff? You asked at th beach long time ago. If ya don't want to that's fine."

Kentar thinks for a few moments. "Maybe another time. Right now, I'll pass thanks. But maybe in a few days, if you still want to?" he smiles

Will nods than asks, Where do you keep that pipe you bought?"

Kentar tilts his head a little then pulls it out from his pocket. "Here. Why?" he asks.

Will cocks his head at the stoat, "You keep it in your pocket all th time? What do ya do with it when your in your room I mean when you set it down."

Kentar chuckles a little. "I usually set it on our beside table." he says. The stoat smiles a little more. "You want to try it out?" he asks.

"No, but you mind if I look at it?" the rat asks.

Kentar eyes him for a moment and then hands the pipe over. "Here."

Will looks the pipe over a while and sits in down on the ground beside him, "You sit it like that?" he asks nodding at the pipe and chewing on his lip a little.

Kentar nods a little. "Yeah." he says a bit with a smile, leaning forward a little, wondering why the rat is acting odd. Odder anyways

Will nods again, "Ok." He picks up the pipe and sets it in his lap while molding the wet clay in his paws. After a short time he takes two small lumps of clay and molds them to the bottom of the pipe like a stand. He sets it down and draws a oval shape around the pipe now. He uses the rest of the clay to form to sides of a curved box and glues the two stand pieces to the inside of one half with some very wet clay. He carefully puts each half of the odd box into the kiln after making matching holes in either half using a hinge from the metal scraps for a guide. He sits playing with the hinge bending it back and forth as he waits for his project to bake.

Kentar watches carefully and smiles as he gets what the rat is doing. "Thank you." he smiles a little. "Still the pipe is there if you change your mind about trying it out. Its really relaxing. Great way to calm down when angry." he chuckles, leaning back.

Will shrugs, "I don't need it. Got a klin. .... still need a wheel t go with it but don't think you could make one of those too easy. Have t see if they got any at th market or if ask where th Abbey got theirs or who made em." He takes the pipe from his lap and holds it out for Kentar, "Here. I might try it later maybe, but I don't need it t calm down. I got a kiln and make after a while a wheel and I got other ways too. Don't need that. Thanks anyway."

Kentar laughs and nods. "Well it does other things then just calms you down." he takes it back and sets it in his pocket. "It's just. Relaxing." he chuckles. "But your welcome." he nods. "So Will. You like your kiln?"

Will nods, "So far. We'll see how that turns out before saying it works or not though." He lays the metal hinge aside and stands up heading off toward the gardens, "That'll need t sit in there at least an hour. Want t see what's going on in th gardens?" he asks turning back to look at Kentar.

Kentar nods and smiles, and stands, nodding, going after the rat. "Yeah." he smiles.

Moledeep: Dibbun's Garden

Aikuen, Fira, and Amy are now in the finished pond. They all sit in a triangle in the shallow area, letting Chris have a small splash about in the water between them. The otters haven't changed their clothes, as their otters and don't care if their clothes get wet. Chris is wearing a small pair of trunks, and as he tries to paddle around, he is just giggling up a storm, enjoying the water. Aik keeps a close watch on the little one, to make sure he doesn't drown, or try to get away from them. Chris is standing up, and the water goes up to his chest, and when he trips. One of the otters catch him, "Oops! Easy there Chris, its a long way down!" Chris just giggles and splashes about.

Amethyst sits in the water to block the stoatbabe should he try to go too far. That really the only reason she's in the water, with the otters.

Aikuen is actually enjoying the company of Amy, no matter what she thinks. Chris paddles over to Fira, and the otter turns the little one around. He gives Chris a little shove in the direction of Amy, with a smirk. Aik smiles and watches as the little one approaches the rat-maid, "So Amy, how are you... on this wonderful, fine, summer day!" he chuckles. Chris bounces into Amy, and tries to go through her.

Amethyst scoops up and baby and turns him around slowly setting him back down in the water and nudging him off toward whoever is across from her. She's wearing a new dress she's made from the cloth the otters brought back for her, it's orange in color and a big lower cut than her last one to show off her white under fur more. "I'm fine. Wet but fine," she says simply.

Aikuen is pretty much on the other side of Amy, and he scoops up Chris and places him in his arms, going to tickle him a little bit. Fira leans over to Aik and watches. Aik smirks at her and then goes back to Amy, "Fine eh? That's good to hear..." he then splashes the rat a little bit, "And what's wrong with getting a little wet!? Huh!" he laughs. Aik is still tickling Chris and the tiny stoat giggles, and gurgles, trying to say words.

Amethyst eeps as the water hits her, she should have seen that coming. Even blind she should have seen that coming, knowing Aikuen. "Hey, that's not very fair!" she calls over while the water drips from her face, arms crossed over her chest.

Aikuen grins, "Ah much better!... OH, come on! lighten up... you'll dry up in no time! And you could splash me back!... i wont mind!" he laughs a little bit, "Sorry 'bout that, but wasn't it nice... and refreshing from the hot sun!" he chuckles as he leans back, and dips his body in the water. Coming back out and shaking water from himself, "Nice and cool!" he places Chris back in water, and the little one goes to bob around the water again.

Aikuen tilts his head, as he doesn't know if to take that as a compliment, or should he start being worried, "Well... I wont splash you in the... face... anymore" he laughs evilly, and grins, "Well technically I will be your Father-In-Law soon...so 'I' wont splash you anymore" he splashes her again, making sure not to hit her face, "WHOH! Where did that come from! Another freak splash!" yes the otter is being silly again, much to the annoyance of everybeast.

Amethyst scowls a little at the otter. She'd splash back at him but she doesn't want to chance hitting Chris by mistake.

Aikuen smiles a little bit at the scowl, "If you want me too stop I will... Ill stop" he rearranges Chris again, as the little one was getting away. Fira goes over to Aik and goes to place her head on his shoulder, keeping an eye on Chris. Aik grins placing an arm around her and says to Amy, "Nice dress, very pretty... it works for you quiet well!" he smiles.

Amethyst's scowl is replaced with a smile, "Thank you. Your son certainly approved of it."

Will comes into the garden followed by Kentar. He looks over the four beasts in the pond a moment, "Hey, see you finished th pond." He sits down a short ways away with a book in paw. "How's everyone doing? Kentar an I been kinda busy today," he explains with a grin.

Aikuen nods and smiles, "I guess he would!" he chuckles. Chris yawns and starts to paddle slower. Aik fearing sleeping stoat any minute, picks up the little one, and warms him with his arms. Chris yawns again, but refuses to go to sleep without a fight. And starts to get away from the otter. Aik chuckles, "No... Its nap time!" he starts to hum a low song. Chris continues to fight, but finally giving in and he soon drifts off. Aik smiles, "Finally!" he whispers. And then he hears Will and he waves, "Hiya! Apparently so! That's okay, we've had our paws full, with little stoat!" he smirks.

Kentar follows his brother into the gardens then smiles wide as he sees the otter and stoat. "Hehe! So you've been taking care of him just like you said...and heck, you even got him to sleep! And swim!" he laughs, smiling nice and wide. "You, Aikuen, are the best."

Amethyst turns her head toward Will at the sound of his voice, "Your father tried to drown me. Kentar make much progress with th smithy?"

Will doesn't look too convinced at the claims that Aikuen had tried to drown Amy. "He cleaned out th furnace and burned wood in it and says it works. Didn't make anything with it yet. Sounds like he's gonna have t buy some stuff for that before he can make anything."

Aikuen laughs at Amy, and goes with it "I sure did! But she overpowered me! And i had to give in! Almost beat me to a pulp she did!" he says sarcastically. Fira smirks and nudges him in the chest, before waving to Kentar, with a "Hiya!" like Aik does. He smiles at Kentar and waves at him, "Of course i did mate! I told you i would! Though the swimming could still need to work" he laughs, "At least i try to be!" he strokes the bottom of Chris chin, and the little one gurgles in his sleep. Then he looks from Will to Kentar, at this latest development, "Eh? Got the smithy workin eh? That sounds great mates! What yah need to buy?" he grins and tilts his head.

Kentar laughs. "Metal mostly." he smiles. "New metals, a few hammers, tongs and things like that." he says before sitting at the edge of the pond. He takes out his pipe and lights up, breathing a cloud of smoke into the air. "Ah...Nice night out."

Amethyst nods, "Yeah." She can tell the baby isn't in the water anymore so see no reason to stay in the pond herself. She does not have her staff with her since it would be a danger to herself and others in the water so she feels around for the edge of the pond and pulls herself under the safty ropes and out onto the grass. She just lays there a moment before trying to sit up which takes a little trying since she's tired from sitting so long and climbing out of the pond not to mention being soaked. She sits by the edge of the pond not saying anything just humming softly to herself to fill the silence.

Will watches Amy climb out of the pond but seeing that she's doing ok by herself he doesn't go over to help her this time. In fact he picks up his book he'd brought with him and starts to read it again keeping his ears turned toward the others should they ask him anything.

Aikuen watches as Amy leaves the pond. He responds to Kentar, "Yep sure it's ... Almost bed time for little Chris..." he recradles the little one in his arm so he can takes Fira's paw with his other. He smiles at her, and then sniffs the air, "Whoh... What is that?" he looks over and can see that Kentar is smoking... something. The otter just tilts his head at Kentar, and then he looks to his son for explanation. And Will is reading a book... a book from not around here... But the rat is too far way to read the title anyway. The otter just shrugs, and says aloud, "You guys have a nice time? What yah do?"

Kentar chuckles a little. "It's called smoking, Aikuen. " he chuckles a little then nods. "Yeah. We did. I...Will. You tell him what I did." he smiles before standing. "And after that, I'll take Chris to bed." he chuckles.

Will huhs, having gotten lost in his book reading of the blood thirsty feats of Cluny the Scourge. "Oh sorry. Kentar built me a kiln ... the oven kind. It's real nice, still waiting t see if it works or not. Just need a wheel now but probably have t buy one or find a some beast that knows how t make them."

Amethyst is quiet, just enjoying the evening.

Aikuen gets up and hands Chris to his father, "Here yah go mate, the little ones pretty much out for the rest of the night... It was fun having him, just ask if you want us to have him again!" he smiles and winks at the stoat, "And I know what smoking is... just didn't expect you to be doing it!" he shrugs and walks over to Help Fira to her feet. They both walk back out of the pond, stepping over the rope, looking surprised "Kentar did all that? Way to go mate? Since you did all that, I'll pay for the wheel! No! I insist!" he smiles

Kentar smiles and takes his son. "Yeah. Heh, its relaxing. It helps a lot." he smiles then goes towards the entrance. "I'm meeting Garnet tomorrow in the woods. You can watch him then.' he grins before vanishing. "Night all." he calls back.

Amethyst has nodded off still sitting up by the edge of the pond, Chris probably tired her out.

Will puts his book in his pack and glance over at Amy's who's fallen silence and grin a bit seeing she's fallen asleep. "Yeah he did. ..... I should go check it and put th fire out before I go in. .... Amy's sleeping looks like. .... I'll be back in a little bit," he calls over to the otters walking off quickly to tend to the kiln for the night.

Aikuen gives a small wave to the rat, but remains quiet to not to disturb the sleeping rat. Aik looks to the sky, and the moon is shining brightly above them. Aik looks down at his wife, and brushes the fur on her face, and mouths, "You are so beautiful Fi..." he grabs both her paws and draws her close, "I... love... you..." he says very slowly. Fira shakes off the paws and places her own on his chest. Aik grins he places his paws behind her neck, giving a kiss, under the stars. Fira, after the kiss grins, and bites her lip, going to rub the side of Aik's face. Aik chuckles and says, "Come on, there is a little rat... who needs to be taken inside..." He smirks at his wife, before going over to pick up Amy, very slowly so as not to wake her. He chuckles as the otters and sleeping rat maid head off inside. Aik takes her to the cellars, and places her, where he thinks that she sleeps. He then takes Firas paw, and says very quietly, "Night Amy..." then the otters leave the cellars for their own room.
