RW Abbey: Infirmary
Several beds are lined against the red sandstone walls of the Abbey's Infirmary. An examination table, separated from the rest of the room by hanging blankets, rests against the far wall. Tucked into a small alcove is a sizeable workbench with various containers for mixing and preparing medicinal compounds. Against another wall is a desk for use by the Infirmary Keeper. A curtained off alcove behind the desk hides a locked door to the Infirmary's supplies and linens.

Krystal peeks into the infirmary, she had heard Cynthia was here and so she has gone to check on her. She walks in slowly and looks around the infirm
Cynthia has been in the infirm since yesterday afternoon. She has a black eye, a bruised face and a bandaged ear. Unseen is a bruised side and left shin. She is starting at the wall as she lies on the furthest from the doorway bed and looks like she has been crying.
Krystal quickly enters the room and goes over to her" Cynthia?..What happen dear, are you ok?" She sounds concerned as she comes over to check on her.
Cynthia sniffs "My ear hurts, I d..didn't mean to kick her I was trying to get loose. She grabbed me by the shirt collar and brought me like nose to nose with her and then when I kicked at her...I had not meant to connect kick and it was not that hard. Just..just she scared me a moment and then someone else..her uncle..yelled at me and..and had this look like Kyran use to and I had these flash back and it was horrible and he didn’t stop her from biting my ear and punching me and kicking me and I didn’t do anything after the one accidental kick and even tried to tell her s..sorry and she was not listening to me"
Caleb quickly makes his way into the infirm sure enough what he heard of his friend being here is true, "Cynthia!!" He then goes to be by her side.
Krystal frowns "Who is her and this uncle?" She is a little startled when Caleb runs into the room and then calms down as she waits on a reply.
Cynthia frowns" Lilymoore..s..she hates me, she said it was my fault Caleb left the one time and I ..t..tried to explain it wasn't and she said stay a..away forever and I said..no" She sees Caleb and has tears going down her face."Y..Your s..still my friend..r..right?"
Caleb blinks "Lilymoore...did this?!" He then goes to hug Cynthia, if she allows, “Of course I am your friend and never would stop being your friend." He frowns and seems to have mixed feelings on just how he feels about his sister doing this" Your be..ok and I know and..and others do too not your fault and that’s the past and should be forgotten and put aside."
Krystal watches the two as she speaks "Did someone let Benar know of this?"
Cynthia frowns "I..I don't know"
Caleb frowns "He SHOULD know, he needs to know"
Krystal says, "I could tell him if needed but have not seen him today"
Cynthia suddenly hugs onto Caleb as he had hugged her and starts crying onto his robes, it’s not be a good day for her and yesterday was much worse.
Caleb nods, he is then hugged back and rubs Cynthia’s back "It’s gonna be ok, don’t worry Cynthia" He will hold her close, even protect her if need be.
Krystal asks, "But, why did she do this for?"
Cynthia has a simple answer, "She..hates...me" Talking between sobs.
Caleb sighs "I...well grandma can talk to Lilymoore or the abbot can as I am unsure I want to, I might get mad at her, she hurt Cynthia like really bad"
Cynthia frowns and just keeps hugging Caleb and for now being quiet.
Krystal says, "Well, I am sure...the abbot be best to have a talk with her, you said you didn’t mean to kick her and you even tied to say sorry and..well she kicked you, hurt your ear and bruised your face. Yes she needs a serious talking to and soon"
Caleb nods "In the meantime Cynthia, you can recover weather it’s in here or your own room. And don’t worry I will always be your friend no matter what and protect you if needed"
Cynthia listens to both of them and sniffs as she wipes away tears and goes to lay back down, she tenses up a little as her side still hurts. She frowns and stays quiet.
Krystal says, "Well I am sure where ever she is most comfortable, she can stay there"
Caleb says, "I wonder if Friar Lacota would care if I took a day off, I could keep Cynthia company and try and help her feel better"
Krystal nods "I am sure he would seeing as what happen and your Cynthia's best friend, she needs a friend right now"
Cynthia rolls over to face the wall and pulls the covers over her, she is not feeling all that great right now and any bruises and her ear still hurts.
Vesper timidly shuffles in, shoulders hunched. She looks around, but does not find the face she is looking for. She does, however, happen in upon a very battered mouse maid, and she blinks in surprise.
Krystal sighs and lays a paw on Cynthia’s side "Its ok, you rest now dear. I am gonna go find father, let him know what happen" She then exits the room.
Caleb watches her head off and sits in a chair by Cynthia's bed to keep an eye on her.
Vesper approaches Caleb. "Excuse me, " she whispers, hoping to not disturb Cynthia. "But have you seen Angela around recently?"
Cynthia jumps a little at the sound of a voice but relaxes, slightly, when it’s not whom she thinks it is
Caleb looks over "Ummm..Grandmother is busy with something, not sure what sorry. What did you need miss?”
Vesper rubs her paws together. "It's to ask her about helping out in the infirmary. Abbot Benar said she was the one to ask. But... I'll come back later, perhaps now is not a good time?"
Cynthia looks over at the voice and shrugs. Her face is bruised and she has a black eye, a bandage on her ear “She...might be back later.."
Caleb nods "I can let her know you wanted to speak to her"
Vesper says, "Yes, I would very much appreciate it Caleb. In the meanwhile, there are some chores that need doing, and it's my turn, so I'll be off...Take care, you two. And feel better soon, Cynthia."
Cynthia seems to feel a little safer with Caleb here and allows herself to fall asleep.
Caleb watches her and stays by her side.
