Halyard Village is an entire village. It has a tavern, an antique shop, an apothecary, a fighting pit, a dock, and a town hall complete with cells and sheriff's office. What is it lacking? Players with characters to fill roles!

So I am putting out a call. Not only is almost all of Halyard on the +community system, meaning that you can build anything you want there (within reason), but the above-listed locations are already in existence and are ready and waiting to be moved into. What is more, if someone can think of a type of shop or building that they'd like to see but don't have the ability or desire to build and I think it makes sense for the village, I can build it.

The village already has a tavern owner, but aside from that basically all roles are open. Just a few I can think of off the top of my head:

- Sheriff

- Deputies

- Bartenders

- Shop owners of various types

- Apothecary

- Fishermen (as it is a fishing village)

Halyard does not have its own fighting force thanks to the proximity of the Long Patrol and Salamandastron. It is a neutral village, to the extent that members of all three groups live there in relative harmony - vermin, woodlander, and neutral beasts. It is mostly a case of living separately together, with the north side of Halyard housing one group and the south side the other, while intermingling in the village proper. RP should go accordingly. Scuffles and fights would be common enough, but neighbors should be neighborly! ;)

Anyone with interest in assuming one of the open positions with a character need only reply here with your in-game character and the role you desire and/or contact me in-game through page or page-mail.

Thanks!
