Hair headfur?

Some of you might remember my weird thread about birds, and this one is in the same vein of attempting to see what other RPers think when they're designing a character.

This one is fairly simple though: do you consider your character to have humanlike hair or headfur that's designed separately from the rest of their head? While I don't remember seeing any such things in descriptions, some descriptions can be long and may not have added this sort of thing, or others might merely have the bare essentials. Personally, I've realized that I haven't even thought of such a thing until now.

For example, if you were making a mousemaid, would you give her long, blonde hair? A crewcut for your hare? Untidy, tousled bangs for your unkempt stoat?

I'd be most interested to see what other players think of while they're designing their character.
