Getting Flicktail to join the cause!

Characters Involved: Gero, Flicktail

Flicktail walks in with sleep in his eyes,scritching his ear as he ambles in

Gero is Sitting at the table with a few rolls of parchment around, writing things down. The mouse looks up and sighs a bit when he sees flicktail. "Morning Flick..."

Flicktail blink blinks and rubshis eyes..much like a Dibbun would "Isat you Gero?

"I wish it wasn't but yes, its me" The novice replies.

Flicktail says, "Wot a thing ta say, ye be our only Gero...if we didn't ave you who woudl we ave for a gero? wot be wrongs?"

Gero chuckles a bit. "Well...Flicky..." he sighs. "Yesterday we got word of a dibbun from the abbey...murdered on the road..." he sighs, hiding his anger.

Flicktail gets a tear "it not be one named Zen do it?

Gero Sighs. "No...Not Zen..."

Flicktail nods "ye know ere be a mzzing Dibbun, Zen..who doed such a things as kills a Dibbun..where kin oi finds im?

Gero sighs. "I know the beast was a stoat...I dont know his name, and I dont want you going after him. But...I want you in the group that's leaving the abbey this evening to look for the dibbun's grave

to make sure that we've not been lied to..."

Flicktail asks, "not e stoat wot lives ere?"

Gero shakes his head. "I've never seen this stoat in my life before yesterday"

Flicktail asks, "wot e looks loike? ow did ye see im if e were kinnin dibbuns?"

Gero hms. "Thats the problem. The only thing we have to go on is the fact that he knew so much

about the dibbun he killed...and this" he pulls off a wooden figure of a squirrel dibbun. "This was

Legol's...and if That stoat did kill him...we're going to find out..."

Flicktail asks, "Legol?"

Gero nods. "A squirrel dibbun who's lived here for a while"

Flicktail nods "Wish oi coudl ave elped

Gero nods. "You can...I'm taking a group of beasts to go out and find the dibbun...dead...or alive..." he sighs.

Flicktail asks, "but don't ye be in e infirmery?"

Gero shakes his head. "I'm fine. The healers said I'll just be sore for a few more days...right now, this is more important then me"

Flicktail says, "Oi see's so we doesn't KNOWS e be deaders"

Gero nods. "We dont know if he is dead or alive. But We need to find out. I'm getting a group together to leave this evening to go investigate. You want to join us?"

Gero nods. "dont worry...I'll get you a shield..."

Gero nods and then writes down Flicktail's name on some parchment. "Good...thats another one..." he

smiles faintly before sighing again.

Flicktail says, "whoy be we wiatin e may be urt...we shoudl go now shouldn't we?".

Flicktail says, "But we must urry"

Gero nods. "We'll leave right before Dinner is served tonight...I cant risk these beasts lives for

something we're not sure about. we cant go in blind flicktail...it doesn't work”

Flicktail says, "Oi go fer a dibbuns"

Gero nods. "Then take the time to get ready...I dont know what we'll find, or what will happen...so..."

Flicktail says, "well o course ye doesn't " he paces

Gero sighs. "Flicktail...Thank you for your help..." he says

Flicktail says, "oi aven't dondid anna thins yet"

Gero nods. "I know...Neither have I"

Flicktail paces 'oh glad ye feels better..ow be e fur groin backs in?

Gero hrms and ahs. "Ah...well. The fur wont grow back until the burns have been fully healed...probably by summer"

Flicktail nods "well ye needs ta keeps warm en

Gero nods. "Aye. I do" he stares at the parchment on the table for a few moments.

Gero sighs. "I'm going to rest up for later..." he says, packing the parchment away. "I didn't get much sleep last night...so...Have a good Day flick...I'll see you later"

Flicktail says, "oi won't gets no sleeps neither"

Gero heads to the stairs before stopping and sighing. "I'm sorry Flicktail...We'll find the dibbun...I promise" he then slowly heads up stairs.
