Marek flees into the woods, sure he has lost Lee he begins walking north to his fortress in hopes of drawing more plans, it will take months that is for sure, but it will be worth it in the end.

Lee abandons the fight in the Abbey. He sees his enemy flee toward the woods, and after hurriedly telling his friend John to take charge of the fight, he gives chase, taking three archers with him. "Ye can run, but ye can't escape me, Marek. Come back 'ere an' fight me proper, instead o' runnin' like a coward!"

Marek turns around and sighs, as if he didn't see this coming. "Very well, Mr. Lee" He draws his swords. "If fighting is what you wish, then I shall oblidge"

Lee keeps a safe distance. He motions his archers to position themselves within sight, their arrows trained on Marek. "Lower yer weapons, mates... This is between me an' Marek." He hefts Martin's Sword, seeming quite comfortable with it. "If 'e makes a false move, ye 'ave me order ta fire..." The otter watches his enemy. "Marek, Sir... I regret ta inform ye... I resign."

Marek laughs. "I never expected that you were truly loyal to me, Mr. Lee" He charges at Lee with his swords drawn, one up and one down, hoping to confuse Lee.

Lee barely has time to react, but he swings his Sword downward, to block the lower blade. The otter prepared well, however. He didn't forget his chain mail, which is what Marek's upper sword would strike when it landed on his upper chest. "Surprise! Ye'll 'ave ta try 'arder 'n that..."

Marek does not react at all; he simply brings up his sword to block the incoming of Martin's sword, while simultaneously failing to strike through the chain mail of Lee's armor. He is well aware of the archers in the area, but does not seem to be phased by them.

Lee grunts, swinging the blade at Marek's, attempting to knock it clean out of his paw. "Oy, ye don't talk much when yer about ta die, ye know that?" The archers continue to watch, obeying Lee's order not to fire. Nevertheless, they all keep an arrow ready for a moment's notice.

Marek places one sword back in its sheath to concentrate on the battle. "I'm afraid it is YOU that will have to do better than that, Mr. Lee" He flawlessly blocks Lee's attempt to disarm him with a grin. "I mean really....disarming me? Is that your best strategy? You will see why that does not work as well as you may think"

Lee grits his teeth, and steps back, his blade held defensively. "Aha, well trained ye are... We may be at this for quite a while..." He begins to edge around slowly.

Marek nods, as he continues to lead his offense against Lee. "Unfournately for you, Mr. Lee I do not *have* a WHILE" He moves his paw slightly, without Lee's notice, and the archers are placed in such a way that they do not noticed when one of them falls. "If this fight takes that long, I will take my leave"

Lee grips his sword, glancing around. "Oy, neither do I... But alas, I can't let ye escape..." The otter is regretting not bringing another sword beast. "This little distraction cannot last."

Marek grins as you start to notice more archers falling. "Just give it time, Mr. Lee. You know this is inevitable" He holds out his sword. "Shall we continue?"

Lee raises his sword and moves to thrust. "I admit... Ye've outdone me... Hudson were truly an amateur in comparison..."

Marek grins as he quickly begins to overwhelm Lee, metal clanking against metal. "What a finely crafted sword, it will make a fine *permanent* addition to my collection after you are dead Mr. Lee" Now that only four archers remain, they begin firing arrows in panic, some at Marek, and some at Marek's archers in the shadows. "Do me a favor and don't scream. I do ever so much hate loud noises"

Lee closes his eyes, and prepares to accept his fate... But then he hears a... voice, in his mind. "Think of your family, Lee..." The otter's eyes snap open, a new look of grim determination in his eyes. "Ye severely underestimate me will ta live, Marek." He swings Martin's Sword up with all his strength, to slam up into Marek's Sword, and he would begin to slowly stand, and try to push Marek back with the Sword. "YE WILL NEVER TAKE THIS SWORD AGAIN, AN' THAT BE A PROMISE."

Marek falls over, but continues to manage to block Lee's angry blasts. "A lesson in sword fighting, Mr. Lee" He gets up, and blocks another few strikes. "Do not let your anger take control of you' “ He pulls his crossbow out and kills the last archer, before shooing his own away. "It is a foolhardy move"

Lee is literally growling, but he falls back, glancing about. All he has left are gambles at this point, he can't afford to play safe anymore. "Foolhardy, indeed, Marek... But if one can control the anger...." He keeps his distance this time, hoping to draw Marek closer.

Marek takes the bait and falls in closer, the parries of blade on blade are almost a blur now as both strike viciously. "You are right, when you are right Mr. Lee. You are a worthy opponent, and a wise otter. “Tis' a shame to waste a life like yours, but I can't have you ruining my plans"

Lee smirks. "Yer worthy as well, tis a shame, really. Ye'd be a great ally..." It is now the otter takes one of his gambles. He quickly dodges Marek's blade suddenly, then whirls around, the Sword held out, in a bold attempt to slash at his stomach.

Marek barely manages to block the blade, taking a non-vital but painful small slash to area between his rib cage and his stomach. He winces in pain, but manages to strike back at Lee, going for his sword arm, hoping to slow him down, because Marek himself is starting to tire

Blood streams down the otter's arm, and he grimaces, panting. "We're tirin' out, Marek... We cannot fight forever... One of us *must* capitulate..." He nearly drops the Sword, instead grabbing it with both paws. "Surrender, Marek. Yer an intelligent beast, ye've been fought to a standstill..."

Marek thinks for a moment. "Perhaps you are right, perhaps we have fought to an impass....or perhaps" He jumps into the air, with both swords drawn. "You have once again underestimated ME, Mr. Lee" He sails through the air, sure his attack will succeed, only for one sword to stab Lee in the foot, and the other sword to get stuck in the ground, as he looks on in shock.

Lee raises his Sword to deflect the attack, but is as surprised as Marek when it falls short. His foot bleeding, he yanks Marek's sword out, then limps over toward him, both swords at the ready. "Yer defeated. I offered ye surrender, ye refused." He raises both swords to strike. "Give me regards ta Hellgates..."

Marek eyes go wide, but then he grins. "Hellgates won't have me quite yet A noise is heard in the distance getting closer and closer, finally a giant 'CAW!" is heard as a very large Eagle picks up Marek and places him on its back. As the eagle flies off, you see Marek grinning. "You and Mossflower have won this round, Mr. Lee. Until next time.....Goodbye"
