Either everybody loves Blisa, or they're trying to kidnap her or kill her :P

FV:Town Center

The gravelly path through the village gets wider the further into the village it travels until at the centre of the village it splits off into four around a large firepit just waiting for any excuse for a feast or celebration and still showing the bones and a few broken mugs from the last one around the edges. A large longhouse for meetings has been built on one side of the road, standing important, decorated with carved wood, shields, weapons, furs and a large skull over the door with the large similarly fearsomely decorated house of the chief sitting proudly beside it.

Meek in comparison across the road a smaller wooden building bares a misspelled sign over the door naming it the 'Infermery'. A few trees dot the edges of the clearing but buildings take over in most directions, only the north showing some vegetation within the village walls. To the west houses seem to spring up and take over the land while noise and masses of beasts take over the south around the market and shops. Down the eastern trail the village gates can just be seen with the tavern close by.

Aiden the fox. Blisa the cat and Ferdinand the ferret and a fox friend tinkerer. Some jerks who are trying to cause people hassles. Hudson the wildcat.

The Ferravale main square is a bustling area filled with traders, travelers, and beasts of every sort. However, one beast really seems to stand out in his cloak and cape that would really remind a beast of royalty, though the way he acts does not make him seem anything of the sort. The beasts he walks by really don't seem to be frightened of him, and instead of giving him a wide circle, they seem to be rather comfortable with the fox.

And then the villages royalty does appear. Blisa the young white cat comes walking confidently into the square, her green eyes lighting up as beasts greet her. Her bodyguard, Ferdinand the ferret, is walking very close to her, smiling to those few who greet him, but mostly on guard for danger, his paw resting comfortably on his sabre hilt.

Unfortunately for Blisa and Ferdinand, not all beasts were willing to just leave well enough alone, and so several beasts in the crowd shoot the kitten and her bodyguard annoyed looks. "Spoiled kitten.." Mutters a ferret, only quiet enough for him to hear, but it is fairly obvious to the trained eye that something is about to go very wrong here.

Fortunately, Ferdinand has a trained eye, and so he grabs Blisa's paw and gently shepherds her towards one of their friend's stalls, a tinker fox with enough muscles and bulk to put a badger to shame. The fox is holding up a cast iron skillet he has fixed for a customer to look at, and he smiles as the ferret guides the kitten through the door in the back of the stall. "What's wrong, Ferdy?" the cat can be heard asking.

Even as they move towards the stall, about seven different vermin slowly begin to make their way towards the kitten and her bodyguard, though not too quickly and not too obviously, as they would much rather have a jump on Ferdinand and his charge.

Ferdinand pushes Blisa down into an empty crate. "Don't worry, I'll keep you thafe." Standing back up, his strange golden-eyed gaze scans the crowd, his paw on his sword hilt, ready to draw. The fox tinker has managed to sell his skillet and now he picks up a frying pan, hefting it easily. The kitten mumbles, "I wish Daddy or Basil were here..."

Even through the crowd, several slithers can be heard as daggers and swords are drawn. By now, the vermin group is beginning to make their way towards Ferdinand and Blisa with more speed, quickly becoming spot-able in the crowd. Meanwhile, Aiden had only just noticed this issue, and he is slowly beginning to make his way through the crowd towards the duo as well, though in an attempt to intercept the vermin group.

Ferdinand unsheathes his sabre and uneasily watches the group closing in onto the tinker's stall. "Yeth, I with they /both/ were here," he mutters. Blisa draws her dirk and knife, her green eyes flashing with trepidation. The fox merely pats the array of knives tucked into his belt and smiles. "This'll be fun, eh, Ferdinand?" he says, his voice deep and rolling, like a rockslide.

The group of vermin picks up speed, and now they are pushing and shoving through the crowd, very close to reaching Blisa and Ferdinand, as is Aiden. By now, the crowd has begun to notice what is happening, and there are a few screams as some of the crowd begins to run from the main square, though most beasts that are used to this sort of thing simply go about their business the same way, and of course, the vendors are almost forced to remain, lest their things be stolen

Hudson is in the village, mainly looking for someone when he catches site of what's going on and looks over to the group and where they may be heading to, for now he merely watches.

The fox tinkerer hops over the counter of his stall, smiling and hefting his cast iron skillet. "Well, 'ello, mates. Pleasant day for shoppin' ain't it?" Some of the shoppers start to edge their way over to the group, loosening their various weapons as they do so. Ferdinand resists the urge to smile as he sees them coming closer. They're friends. Blisa can't see what's going on, so she's having to fight the urge to freak out.

Just as the vermin group reaches the duo, Aiden reaches them as well, having been freed from the confines of the crowd. Now, he draws his longsword, holding it in both paws as he moves to stand by the fox even as the seven vermin stop about a body's length away from them, slowly closing in on them in a semi-circle formation.

Hudson doesn't know who anyone is, least of the ones here so he folds his arms over his chest and watches the fight from nearby.

The fox smiles at the other fox with the longsword, a full head and shoulders above all but the tallest person here. "Well, well, well. Good day to ya. Glad to have somebeast standin' beside me. Now, then," he turns back to the group of fighters in front of him. "Could I interest you folks in some nice, refurbished pots and pans? How 'bout some baskets me missus weaves?" Ferdinand moves into an at-ready stance, sabre held high, ready to kick some butt. Blisa gulps as she hears her foxy friend starts talking. She hopes no one she cares about gets hurt...she crouches in her empty crate, ready to defend herself.

Aiden tightens his grip on his longsword, ready to go to town on some of these vermin, especially for trying to hurt his boss's child. "Aye, we're goin' t' be servin' some well deserved death t' ye criminals, so come an' get it!" He says almost eagerly, ready and willing to do his job. With this, the vermin all begin to advance, but not in a charge. No, they advance slowly with their weapons held up, but all at once, giving the two foxes in front seven targets to work with.

Hudson tries to see just what is inside the stall that seems so important its worth fighting for, so he edges a little closer to it.

The fox tinkerer just stands there with seemingly unending....either nerves, guts, or stupidity. Or maybe all three. It's kind of hard to tell. He laughs and says, "Seven against three? That doesn't seem like fair odds. I pity the ones who find the tip of yon ferret's sword in their guts." Ferdinand gulps, then spies a recurve bow leaning up against the wall, along with a quiver of arrows. Reaching out with his left paw while holding his sabre ready with his other, he catches up the archery equipment. Blisa, the object of this whole fight, is crouching, perfectly still in her crate, her dirk and knife at the ready.

The moment Aiden gets the chance, his arms kick into motion, moving his longsword in a large, almost beautiful arc as though it were nothing. This arc eventually switches, carrying it straight towards the neck of one of the vermin, slicing his neck straight open with the tip due to its reach and prompting the rest of the vermin into action, charging straight at the three from only about six feet away.

Ferdinand yelps and drops the archery equipment. Leaping onto the stall's counter, he slashes down with his sabre skillfully and expertly. The fox roars in a bone-chilling manner and goes to bash 2 beasts skulls in with his skillet. Blisa gasps. then brightens, sheathes her blades and pulls out a slingshot. Loading and pulling it, she leaps up, aims, and fires 2 stones in rapid succession and with uncanny aim into the attacking beasts, then ducks back under the counter.

A rat an a stoat are nailed straight in the snouts by the stones, and they yelp, dropping their weapons and holding their snouts, only to be quickly cut down by Aiden. The two beasts that were bashed hit the ground rather quickly, leaving only two more beasts left. One charges after Ferdinand, who is promptly cut down by the ferret on top of the stall counter, leaving only one left to charge at the two foxes in front.

The tinkerer smiles and leans back against his stall. "Good arm, Ferdinand." Blisa stands and looks at the dead bodies disgracing her father's streets. "Did I hit any of them?" The ferret smiles slightly at the praise, then ruffles the kitten's ears, all the while keeping his steely golden gaze on the remaining opponent. "Yeth. You hit 2 of them."

Finishing with cutting down the last vermin charging at them, Aiden takes a deep breath, sheathing his longsword as he does. "Well...now that's over..." He mutters, looking around at the dead bodies. Great, now he'll likely have to explain to Scioto why exactly seven beasts were killed.

Blisa claps her paws, then suddenly frowns. "Daddy's not going to be very happy when we tell him what happened..." Ferdinand nods and sighs, sitting on the counter. "Yeah. That'th one way to put it." The fox tinkerer just shrugs his massive shoulders and twirls the skillet. "Eh, he'll probably just be thankful that yer safe." The few friends that had been coming to their aid note how quickly the attackers had been killed, and so just smile and sheath their swords. Coming forward, they start to pick up the bodies for transport to the undertaker.

The head guard just sighs, rubbing his snout with one paw. "Don't worry about Scioto. It's my job t' tell him 'bout things like this anyway." With that, the annoyed fox begins to walk off through the main square, thoroughly annoyed with the dead attackers.

Blisa frowns a little more deeply, then shrugs and hops up onto the counter, hugging first Ferdinand, then the tinkerer. The fox gently hugs her back, then goes around his stall and starts calling out to passersby to come and buy his wares. The ferret decides that home might be a good place to be (especially since their friend the snake is there, and he makes a good bodyguard), and so the duo starts to go home. As they pass by the head guard, the kitten smiles and waves at him.

Aiden can't help but smile and wave back when Blisa waves at him. "I'm glad yore safe Blisa." He says before continuing to head off towards the guard house. He needs to start getting some of the guards on different patrol routes and different posts.
