Day 1 - Cook off

From Redwall MUCK Wiki

Day 1 - Cook off

                                  -------------------------------------------------

This event is a cooking challenge in which competitors must create foods that fit the

title given for the competition. The winner is decided by a majority vote from those

beasts whom taste and feast on the foods.

1) Preparation - We must prepare to feast outside near the pond!

OOC - This part of the competition won't be long. RP would mostly consist of setting

up tables, getting the bonfire ready, and getting the cooks tools and such ready.

IC - This shall take place at the Abbey pond. The bonfire shall be near the pond and

will be made of twigs, branches, and sticks that were gathered up when the Abbey

yard was tended to.

2) Display - And the main course is...!

OOC - This is when the competitors start to cook up meals that will fit the theme,

(A Meal Fit for a Bonfire). Simply, those whom wish to compete shall create a dish

or have a dish prepared to be entered. Be sure to give a full description of your

meal for we shall simply spoof what we have prepared when all are ready to begin!

IC - This is still at the Abbey pond. During this time, the bonfire will be lit and the

foods shall be placed out to on display.

3) Judgment - Dig in!

OOC - This is the most important part! Once the cooking is over, everyone is to dig

in! Once everyone has looked over the meals and found the one they liked best,

we shall 'leave a token' by the meal that they enjoyed. Simply put, one shall

whisper to a moderator which meal prepared they want to vote for.

IC - Finally! It's time to dig in! Beasts are to enjoy themselves on the dishes and leave

a small token by the dish they enjoyed! A moderator will them come by and take

tally of the tokens.

4) Awarding - The suspense!

OOC - After all the votes have been tallied, it's time too announce the winner and

the prize! This part is rather self-explanatory. A monitor shall list each meal and how

many votes it got. The one with the most wins. What's the prize? A large bottle of

the best strawberry cordial, courtesy of Barkus!!!

IC - And the winner is... who knows?!? Oh well! The moderator shall now hand out

a very delicious bottle of cordial, of which Barkus was begrudgingly convinced to

donate, to the winner!! Congratulations! Beasts may then spend the rest of the

night either in the Abby or outside near the bonfire. The fire should last all night

so feel free to sleep under the stars if you wish!
