Dad Your Alive!

RW Abbey: Infirmary

Several beds are lined against the red sandstone walls of the Abbey's Infirmary. An examination table, separated from the rest of the room by hanging blankets, rests against the far wall. Tucked into a small alcove is a sizeable workbench with various containers for mixing and preparing medicinal compounds. Against another wall is a desk for use by the Infirmary Keeper. A curtained off alcove behind the desk hides a locked door to the Infirmary's supplies and linens.

Leon steps into the infirm, he is still the Master Healer and so he still needs to check on beasts in the infirm and right now only a couple are here, a guard with a broken arm and..the rat. He checks the guard first before walking over to the rat.

Patchfur looks up and glares, "So..this how you treat guests? Tie them up after having them knocked out?"

Leon speaks as he carefully checks the rat "You’re not so much a guest now, you have seriously injured an abbey beast and had me and another locked up. I have spoken to the abbot about all this so it will be up to him what happens to you"

Patchfur smirks, "Oh. Well in my opinion you should be dead, a simple mistake on my part I don't plan on making again" He watches the mouse closely; he has been slowly getting his paws free throughout the night.

Leon shakes his head, "Well that’s your fault then, if this had been a few seasons ago I wouldn’t be examing you but you will be released and most likely banned from the abbey."

Patchfur rolls his eyes and tests one of his wrists, grinning he gets one very lose and soon the other, he looks at the mouse, "You know, there is someone who might know you at our camp. Then again I serious don't think so, it just some old warrior mouse, most likely dead by now if Morgan has any say over it."

Leon very rarely gets mad, but he has his moments and this is one of them. He gets in the rats face, "Where is he? Tell me now or I have a friend of mine make you tell him instead!"

Patchfur grins, this is all he needed and the fact his wrists are free now he quickly grabs the mouse by the throat, well unless he moves, and if able hisses a demand as his other paw slips out too, "Tell someone to..untie the.." He sees a novice come in who looks ready to scream, "Oh please scream, draw attention. Or untie me"

Leon gets a look of surprise on his face when the rat grabs him, he tries to get the rat's paw to move but fails to do so.

Patchfur watches the novice, "Untie the rest of the ropes or teacher here dies." The novice, only barely learning healing ruses over and unties the rest of the rope and the rat stands, Leon still in his grasp, "Thank you..but I don’t need witnesses, He grins wider as he finds a dart under a bed, bending down he gets it but instead of using on the mouse he uses it on the novice. Yes he might want to flee now as the novice is dead, he looks at Leon, "I may need you to get out of this place."

Leon hears and sees all that happens but is a bit too busy trying to prevent himself from being choked to reply to Patchfur right now.

RW Abbey: Main Gate

You are at the main entrance into Redwall Abbey. The gates are a a massive, double-doored wooden affair, reinforced with iron, and with a heavy latch and crossbar on the inside to prevent would-be invaders. While the gates almost always stand open, you get the impression that the builder of this portal designed it to be nigh impregnable. The entrance arch is amazingly thick, denoting the strength and thickness of the ancient walls themselves, which, despite the upheavals of the past, and numerous cracks present in the rose colored stone, still stand tall and strong. Uncountable pawprints can be seen in the dirt, leading both in and out of the Abbey. Along the bottom of the wall on either side of the arch, weeds and wildflowers can be seen in plenty.

The rising sun brings a soft glow to the old Abbey stones. The air is crisp and a little chilly, and there is a thin layer of dew on the grass and weeds at the foot of the walls, and on the grasslands beyond the dirt road. There is birdsong on the wind.--------------------------------------------------------------------Are you a newcomer to Redwall? The two get to the gate and a couple guards try to stop the rat from leaving he easily punches one out and takes the short sword he had "I leave, with the mouse and you let me or he dies here and now." He says serious tone, "Your reply?"

Leon eeerks slightly as the guard frowns and steps aside they are not risking the life of the Master Healer and the rat can always be found later.

Patchfur smirks "Good choice." He leads Leon out of the abbey as he is basically using him as a living shield and these abbey beasts seem unwilling to watch any important beast die, he chuckles and puts the sword away "Fools" He mutters as they get to the road, he applies just enough pressure and just long enough with his paw , still on the throat, to make Leon pass out. "Can't let you see where camp is"

Leon vision goes black as he passes out but it probably won’t be for very long.

Silent Blades Campsite

This is a well-guarded camp so it would be VERY hard to sneak inside or out. The guards are skilled fighters and there is even a couple hidden archers in the trees or elsewhere. otherwise this camp is well hidden in thick woodlands, weeds and tall trees. There is enough room for a small campfire and a small shed used sometimes. Another area has been cleared where a pole is to chain a "guest" up and a guard beside them at all times. A path leads back out of this hidden clearing.

Exits: [O]ut to [C]learing

Leon had woke up but still couldn’t see and his paws tied behind his back and he was being led somewhere.

Patchfur shoves the Master Healer into a cleared off area, and removes the blindfold grinning like a mad beast. ”Thanks for my way to leave that horrible abbey”

Leon narrows his eyes, “They will look for me, and if you’re going back to try and kill Zork your have even less luck doing it now.”

Patchfur rolls his eyes, “I am not worried about a stripdog, but hey if he comes out to look for you I have a gift for him…the gift of death” He chuckles coldly.

A voice is heard, “I..hope the badger slays you idiot..” Coughing is heard as if one sees the voice belongs to an old mouse, not too old but still pass his mid-seasons now a bit.

Leon turns as tears come to his eyes “Dad?” He still has his paws tied behind his back but can still walk and goes over to him.

Taran smiles and hugs Leon “Son..”

Patchfur makes a face “Happy reunions make me feel like barfing.” He walks off and leaves the guards to stand watch.

Leon leans into Taran, “I thought you left and I wouldn’t ever see you again”

Taran sighs” I..wouldn’t do that..ok at first, I did but then I was heading back and these foul..Silent Blades or whatever captured me, there was some fighting a couple days ago but..” He frowns “They moves the campsite…it moves every few days it seems.” He then pauses and goes on” I am sorry I caused you such worry…where is Angelo?”

Leon answers “His brother and niece needed him, he went back to the village and is supposed to send me a letter when he gets there..he will be happy to know you were found let’s just hope…we both get back to the abbey.”

Taran frowns “It’s..possible but, I could care less where we go from here.”

Leon says “I do..Dorarose and the twins need me, the abbey needs me and I am sure they would welcome you back”

Taran shrugs “I am unsure, I was not the best guest”

Leon frowns “Least you didn’t try to kill beasts like Patchfur did and he did kill one beast, a novice named Tenk, he was studying to be a healer.”

Taran nods, “Well let’s hope Patchfur is dialed with with.”

Leon nods in agreement” I agree” He smiles even in this bad situation” I am still glad to see you dad and that your alive”

Taran smiles as well, “I am glad you’re ok as well and I am sure Angelo will be fine as well, that hare can take care of himself.

Leon nods “I know…” He sighs as he leans beside Taran, unsure of what to do now as the past couple days been annoying, except for finding Taran.."I know”
