So, I've noticed a discouraging trend. (And just a head's up, this post might get a little ugly. I've gotten frustrated, and even though I'm trying to not spew it all out here, it might leak out of the cracks in my pathetic attempt at self-control. because I'm awesomely pathetic like that :P) People have started spoofing my chars without my permission. And it's not like they have complete RPs where they play my characters doing and saying stuff and whatever, but they are still spoofing them without my permission. Now, I understand that I'm only on at the most 2 days a week. I understand that. I also understand that I'm rarely on when big things in a TP are happening, so if my char got kidnapped, how are we going to know if they got rescued if someone doesn't spoof them? But could you at least p-mail me the log where they got rescued so I'm not just reading the log and, oh look, they spoofed my char without permission AGAIN and didn't freaking tell me. How bleeping awesome. Or you could even, like, plan the event and get my permission the week before when I'm on. Instead of just spoofing me WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Or at least just TELL me. Oh my freaking cow.

And! I know that I'm basically never on for the feasts, and I appreciate that people spoof me so it's in the log that my chars are there. But it's gotten to where it's more than just in 1 post! It's in, like, half the posts that the person spoofing D.R. and Lily and Angela are doing!! (Well, okay, I will grant you that I'm exaggerating. Sorry.) Do you have any idea how frustrating that is?! And, again, IT'S WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. So, I'm putting an end (hopefully) to that. This is the ONLY pose someone can do for my chars for a feast IF I am not there:

Quote: DoraRose leads LilyMoore and Angela to where the feast is being held. Dressed in their finest, as befitting the occasion and season, these ladies look happy and, in the case of Lily, excited to be here. The old healer has even tied colourfull ribbons to the top of her staff. They join their family where they're sitting or, if their family hasn't picked places to sit yet, they pick where to sit and save seats for everyone. When it's time to eat, they get their food and drinks, enjoying the festivities. Dora even plays a song on her mandolin. As the day draws to a close, the trio wander to bed, tired in a happy sort of way as they head off into the Land of Dreams.

That's it! No editing! No adding to or subtracting from that post! Someone can copy-paste-spoof it during the feast if I am not there, but that is the ONLY spoofing someone can do of me for a feast. IF Blisa or any of my future chars (which I may or may not make, depending on life :P) would be at the feast but I won't be able to come on for it, I'll make up a pose for them at that time.

And there's more! People are also twinking on me when I'm on! They say in their poses that my chars do stuff or their chars did stuff to my chars WITHOUT asking freaking permission first!!! Are you stinking kidding me? Now, I understand that I used to have DYN as my status (note the past tense there). Let's take a look at what typing news dynamic-rp brings up:

news dynamic-rp wrote: news - dynamic-rp DYNAMIC RP

First off, dynamic RP means changing the rules of what a 'twink' is from

"acting on another without permission" to "acting outside your character."

This means that in Dynamic RP, you don't ask someone's permission to act

directly upon their character.

This is easily abused, so as a courtesy (and to avoid tons of complaints)

consider that doing permanent harm to someone that isn't interested in

having their favorite character harmed is likely to result in them simply

telling you "Go away!" and complaining, so don't kill/permanently harm

somebeast without asking first.

But, anything less (that is in the bounds of our G rating!) is OK without

asking.

This _is_ dangerous. Only those who are marked with a status of DYN are

able to play dynamically, and only with those who are ALSO marked DYN

status. If a non-DYN twinks the dynamic RPer, they may choose to go along,

but its not permanent if they don't like the results.

For a reference to the concept:

This implementation is publicly joinable, not private, so all the comments

about Nic's particular group don't apply. To agree to play twink-free and

accept any and all consequences, type 'dynamic' and you will be joined.

Be wary--bad dynamic RP will be regarded unfavorably since it will generate

complaints the wizards will have to handle.
