It has always bugged me that we have no clear convention regarding the seasons. Many builders try and incorporate the seasons into their descriptions, and it's hard to do when there's no clear distinction.

The ~season prop is a great idea, but it seems like it'd be a good idea to have some general consensus as to when the seasons change. I was hoping to come to some agreement in that regard. The ~season property can reflect this, but I'm more interested in the general time-frames. And for that, I think we need to get some player input.

This is what my (personal) season program looks like, roughly:

01-winter

02-winter

03*

04-spring

05-spring

06*

07-summer

08-summer

09*

10-fall

11-fall

12-winter

With the asterisks indicating something other than just a simple season based on the month in question. Does this look accurate to most people? Could we figure out how/where we want to divide the seasons so we have a MUCK standard, like the time?

Programming this into the ~season prop would be good, after we figure out what the standard should be. I'm happy to do it, if MPI is acceptable.
