I just wanted to clear this up for everyone since sometimes we have a tendency to let our IC emotions color our OOC emotions. I have no hard feelings against any one on the MU and want to make that AMPLY clear before we start fighting. We're all in this together and the more we work together, the better the MU will be for everyone.

I don't want this to be a huge deal so I'm posting it here. If you have ANY questions, please contact me IN THE MUCK as Zephyr. I hardly ever look at this website.

As far as Camp Willow is concerned, all vermin are to be viewed with the utmost suspicion. They generally are not welcome in the camp and if they enter, they will be treated in the following manner:

Any vermin species that are accompanying a party from a KNOWN peaceful group (e.g. Ferravale, the Abbey) ARE allowed in WITH their weapons but they will be viewed as highly suspicious, REGARDLESS of their position with said group.

Any vermin species from an UNKNOWN group (unknown to the camp) will NOT be allowed to enter and roam freely. They MUST contact an otter who will in turn contact the SKIPPER.

It goes without saying that any vermin (or woodlander, sadly) with malicious intent will be requested to leave. If they do not depart, further action will be taken.

Please keep in mind that the otters of CW are historically warriors and still are, despite our lack of numbers as of recently.

Any player on the MU who wishes can create an otter char and join in on the fun. We welcome everyone. But, because this is a private area, we reserve the right to only allow otters to be a part of the group.

Why am I making such a big deal out of this? Well, two reasons.

We want this MU to grow, right? We are attracting people who have read Redwall and want to live inside the wonderful world that Brian Jacques created. In his world, he had a very definite system of vermin and woodlander. The vermin were bad (and yes, I've heard the argument that there were 'good' vermin in the book. As someone pointed out to me, they were usually very stupid or otherwise damaged and, in both cases, these handicaps resulted in them being more neutral than anything) and the woodlanders were good. When people visit the MU expecting a Redwall world and they see the vermin running around being good, it's very confusing.

Also, you MUST HAVE CONFLICT in order to tell a story. And what are we doing when we RP? We are creating our character's stories. When nothing bad is happening then there isn't anything to RP! Some people might just like RPing about eating food and planting tomatoes or whatever, but personally, I prefer a grittier story. Something with some depth that will leave a lasting impression. By being very strict about our anti-vermin policy, the members of CW will have A LOT to RP about. Plus, you have to admit, that whenever something 'negative' happens, people seem to flock towards it.

So you can talk about us and complain about what we're doing, but in the end you have to admit that at least it's interesting.

In the end, however, it is most important to remember that this is not real life. So while I may be a dictatorial ruler over CW, I'm actually very friendly IRL and would LOVE to shoot the breeze with you sometime. Please feel free to talk to me and ask questions and suggest things. I'm a teacher in real life so my whole world is focused on other people and how I can help them. I don't want us to be divided into two groups over who likes who better and where you RP. I've never won any popularity contests and don't really care. I'm just trying to promote interesting RP that is more than just triviality.

Thanks for understanding.
