Bandit loses weight...the hard way And oocly rp between Magus and Bandit

From Redwall MUCK Wiki

DO NOT BE ALARMED! THIS IS AN OOCLY RP! NOTHING HERE SHOULD BE TAKEN AS CANNON!

This is just a quick 'what if' vs. battle between Magus and Bandit.

The evening light stretches out the shadows of the Black Gull Tavern. The sound of joyous laughter can be heard as the door to the tavern opens wide. Stepping out of the tavern is a large brown fox. Times have been kind for the head guard of Ferreval. Perhaps a bit too kind.

The brown fox foregoes wearing his chainmail these days, at least until it gets back from the armorer after having grown too tight to wear. Even the blue tabard the fox wears looks tight upon his corpulant body.

The obese fox lets out a belch then adjusts his sword belt, loosening it to accomidate the food in his gut befoe he begins to trot south for home. After a few moments Bandit turns on his heel, heading north in the right direction and stumbling from one end of the road to the other.

Magus is at the tavern today as he had his pet falcom follow the fat fox, its one thing he dislieks being intrupted when he is trying to kill a beast, he smirks "And the fat fox is even more drunk today as he was last night when he upset me soo very much" Goodness his voice can be creepy.

The fox staggers back and forth as the ale sloshes around in his belly. Any more these days the fox walks with a bit of a hunch due to his weight. Rolls of flesh seem to cover every part of the tod from his many chins to his rounded flank and of course around his gut which could easily graze the ground if he were to run on all fours...though running is something this fox obviously has neglected for a long long while.

Bandit pauses on the side of the road to lean his hand against a tree and steady himself until the ground stops moving on him...

Magus walks over and he motions his falcon to jion him "Are you..tried..fat fox?" He asks and smiles oddly "I can help you sleep...." The word slep is drawn out , he looks to the falcon and to the fox as he waits on an answer. The falcon meanwhile looks ready for a snack or a fest maybe.

The fox nearly jumps out of his skin at the ferrets appearance. Throwing his back against the tree and reaching for his sword. It takes a second try to find the hilt but by then Bandit calms down, if only slightly on account of the falcon. "Sorry, you gave me quite the start friend." The fox laughs nervously, "And this isn't fat, my winter coat is just really fluffy." He gives his side a pat, sending a ripple through his body that only causes Bandit to sigh. "Anyway...no I'm good. The night air will freshen me up." The fox, drunk or not, feels the need to move away from the ferret and his 'pet'. He bows his head slightly before he begins to shuffle around them and back onto the road.

Magus frowns "That will not do at all, you see my Master wishs his revenge and that was to kill a badger and you..fat one..interrupted, but I got to thinking, your head may look nicer on a pike than say a badger's and I will simply say..the fox caused me to fail, oh and your body won't be found...will it my pet?" He looks to the falcon.

The fox gulps. His grip on his blade tightens. The fox is calculating his chances for survival if he decided to fight this beasts here, with so much ale flowing through him. THe odds are not good. "Oh...so THAT's how its going to be..." Bandit needs to get back to the safety of the tavern! Throwing his arms wide the fox begins to back away, "Well even condemned beasts deserve a last meal, right? Right? So how about I go back into the tavern, grab a few pies. You're birdie pal will get more meat to chew on and you will get a better rug...aye?" He continues to backtrack.

The falcon will have none of that and goes to block the door as the ferret frowns "But he is so very, very hungry...he needs food before a long trip north."

The fox cringes. His only hope is to fight smart. "Well, I see. Perhaps we can just talk this over and SWORD TO YOUR FACE!" The fox draws his blade, taking a swing at the ferret as he tries to rush past him!

Magus gasps and jumps back, the sword cuts into his snout and he narrows his eyes as he speaks "Its Supper Time!" The falcon is then in the fox's face and at his neck talons out and clawing downwards! aiming to kill the fox!

The fox shrieks in terror as the tallons claw at his arms and chest, tearing his tabbard and leaving scratch marks across his hide. Bandit has to get away! He has to get away! Flailing his arms and sword about the fox makes a dash for the tavern. Unfortunately the bird proves to be in the way of the door and so goes around to the side where there is an open window to one of the back rooms. Salvation is at hand!

Throwing his blade towards the bird to distract it the fox throws himself at the window, thrusting it open and pulling himself inside...until he get's stuck.

The fox can only pull himself through until his thick belly get's in the way, making it impossible to squeeze himself inside. "That...that isn't fair. That isn't fair!" Bandit shouts, his hind paws kicking uselessly in the air behind him.

Magus has to laugh and his laugh is even creepier than his voice. The falcon goes to claw along the ox's backside and then hook onto him and drag him out so he can beck at his neck. "Do calm your self fat one and die!"

The falcon tlts his head and waits for a chance to slice at the fox's throat with his sharp talons, and Magus watches and frowns "Your dying too loudly, please die more quietly fat one"

The talon cuts easily through the fox's second chin. Bandit reaches up, clasping his paws around his wound. "W-hy..why are you..." He begins to gurgle. His thrashing and flailing is beginning to slow. His belly and chest rise with each panicked breath the fox takes as he realizes they are about to be his last!

The ferret smirks "Cuse you stoped me from killing the badger maid, the fates say now death for you." He gets a dagger and goes to stab down at the fox's chest, but he lets the falcon tend to more of the works, before he steps back "Do finish him my pet and eat...."

The fox let's out one final gasp as the knife cuts cleanly into his chest. As the falcon begins to feast on his fleshy meat the fox's frantic spasms slowly calm down and eventually end. "Zinnia...you are after...Zin..." Bandits head falls backward and his eyes glaze over. The last sight he saw was the bird beginning its grizzly feast upon his body.

He passes onto the dark forest knowing that he has failed to protect at those around him...

Magus tilts his head "Yes..for my boss...goodbye" He walks away and lets the falcon eat, he can have teh falcon deleiver a message later he is off to go back to Ferracvale but stops..he needs an ale first and so enters the Black Gull.
