Bandit Interrogates Long Fang

From Redwall MUCK Wiki

With Respects to Dorarose's NPCs.

Bandit the fat bellied head guard fox. Longfang the Ermine prisoner. Mystery guest ???

Longfang is sitting in the cell, far from the bars right now and has claw marks going down his snout that have caked with blood now. He watchs the front of the cell to see if any beast comes by or not.

The sound of locks can be heard as the door to the jail room opens wide. At the door stands a brown furred fox. He has a cloth sack tucked under one arm as he undue's the sword belt around his pot belly. Handing the blade off to the guard by the door the fox enters unarmed into the jail. Dressed in his tabbard and chain main tunic the fox waves pleasantly at the ermine, "Well good evening there laddie! I do hope you find your accommodations...pleasant."

Longfang growls and comes to the front of the cell to try and reach threw the bars to grab Bandit. Fresh claw marks on his snout are seen clearly now, "You!" He says with a growl.

"Me!" The fox shouts rather happily, standing just a few inches out of the beasts reach. "I'm touched that you remember me. I don't remember giving you the new tattoos though." The fox gestures to the claw marks on the ermine before giving a wide shouldered shrug. "Anyway, hungry?" The fox takes the cloth sack in his arms and pulls it back, revealing several loafs of bread. He breaks one in half, tossing one to the ermine as one would feed the pigeons.

Longfang looks at the bread and glares "How dare you do that, and where is the badger huh? " I wish to give him a message."

"Oh, NOW you want to talk. Well, I'm afraid there are no badgers here. Just you, me, and your executioner." The fox taps the end of his muzzle as if he let out some great secret, "Oh did I forget to mention that the penalty for killing a guard is death? But we can talk about that later." The Fox begins to eat the half of the loaf he kept for himself, "In the mean time I can take your message to this...badger for you!"

Longfang chuckles coldly" And old fool came in here, clawed my face and tried to get in here to slay me. Then again he seemed upset over the fact I injuried a family member." He smirks "Zee Winters is one that will die, he doesn't fear me, he is a fool. All this how he will find -me- oh and kill -me-" He smirks,"He failed seasons ago and now he is old and foolish. I will get out of here and I will finish what I started."

The fox talks as he chews at the bread, "Man, you really do have something against badgers, don't you. First you have a grudge agaisnt Zee, then you attack a badger gal on the side of the road under hte shadow of Redwall no less. I would almost call that bold if she wasn't barely out of dibbun hood." The fox leans back on his stool, "Makes me wonder though, why did you attack Marek? Run out of badgers to hunt?"

Longfang narrows his eyes and growls low, "Marek slayed my mate, she is dead because of him. He put a crossbolt threw her!" The nagain he fails to mention how his mate was about to behead a badger, she spits towards the fox, then sneers "My ferret most likely is on the way to my Master Bora, with Marek in tow....as for badgers, Master Bora wishes badgers to all die. And for certain badgers a more painful death. though..." He chuckles as if this is just the grestest news ever, " Bora will be intrested to know, the one who killed his father, is not in good health it seems, oh so sad I heard he's dying...too bad I couldn't speed that up a little"

The fox peers downard at the spit that landed on his boot. "I just had that cleaned..." picking himslef up the fox tosses the second loaf to the ermine. "Right...I'm afraid I'm just not really in the mood to deal with crazy tonight. So let me tell you how this is going to play out. See, you are a kidnapper, bandit, vagabond, and a murderer. IF you don't tell us where Marek is, you will be a dead villain. NOw, normally I would just have you flogged until your ready to talk, but times as they say, are a changing. Basil, do be kind and introduce yourself."

Something beats against the bars of the window behind the Ermine. In the dark it can not be clearly seen until it moves closer to the light. The beasts head is so wide that only one eye can be seen through the bars. It's head is scaled, reptilian, that of a whiptail snake. "Basssilissk..." The snake hisses in delight.

"So I'm going to just let Basilisk here tell you about all the fun you two are going to have in the morning, then we see if you are more willing to talk sensebly. OH, and do eat up." The fox smiles as he turns for the door, "Wouldn't want you to lose weight..."

Longfang looks towards the sound of the.."What in heels gates is that!!!!!" He looks shocked and that thing is huge, well so much for screly ermine, this is scary nightmare. He gulps and looks like he may of wet himself as he presses agasist the wall and just stares, thats all he can do..stare and hope it can't get in.

And the snake stares back...all night long, with unblinking eyes. The fox seems to get a kick out of the ermines change in behavior. Little did the beast know that there were four guards out side making sure the chieftian's daughter's pet didn't try anything stupid...like eating someone he wasn't suppsoed to. The fox shivers. Well, now he can't say the snake doesn't have a purpose in the town, although he has a feeling he will regret the purpose he gave it..."Night, don't let Basilisk bite..." The fox says before blowing out the only candle in the room and shutting the door behind him.

For those who do not know, Basilisk is a snake NPC I created half a year ago that became a bit of a pet for Blisa the cheiftian's daughter. Since Blisa icly uses the snake quite often, and since I am not always on when she is, the snake is actually now hers. Bandit apologizes for stepping over any boundaries by using it with out her permission and I don't plan to make a habit of it XD
