A talk and a lie
This RP was going on before I brought Blisa on, so that's why the log has quite a few poses from before Blisa shows up. I hope you enjoy! Also, sorry this is kinda long...
FV:Entry
The scent in the air notably changes within the village compared to the sweet fragrant flowery smells outside the east gates. Stale air, rotting food and the occasionally not particularly pleasant smelling inhabitant all assault the nose until it gets used to things. Mercenary guards patrol the high wooden palisade wall separates the vermin village from the outside world, the only break in sight in the form of the main gate to the village to the east. North of the path one of the few stone buildings in the village stands a little run down, now an inn it butts up to the side of the tavern and boasts many beds available, at least that's probably what the sign says, much like the building it's old and the beast who wrote it has probably died of old age long after the paint was last touched up. West finally buildings begin to spring up everywhere and the path widens into a large clearing at the centre of the village.
Exits: [F]erravale [Inn], [T]avern, [Back] to gates, [W]est
Astra is in the fighting pit, she has already won two fights but the 3nd she is losing badly, she stumbles out and frowns at a fox what been fighting her as she holds her side and looks at a bleeding paw.
Scioto is walkig up the path as he now slows and raises an eyebrow,he walks over now and looks at Astra.
Astra sighs, she notices Scioto and stands up better, she walks over"Fightig pit, lost 3nd fight"
Scioto walks over closer, "Well can't say its the best place to go"
Astra shrugs,"Sorry...sir, probally the last time, I am rethinking sleeping in the guard house, bit noisy and loud at times."
Scioto rasies an eyebrow, "Thats to be expected, the inn would cost too much so not sure where else you could stay couple days till a small place is ready to dwell in."
Astra starts to ask something then thinks better of it, "I guess I can put up with it a couple days sir."
Scioto nods, "Was there anything else you needed?"
Astra shakes her head, "No there wasn;t just long past couple days"
Scioto asks, "Long how?"
Astra sighs, "Just long, nothing you would likely understand"
Scioto shrugs, "If you say so, there isnt another problem is there?"
Blisa comes running up right at this moment, her ferret guard right on her heels. Leaping, she hugs her father hard, smiling. She actually seems to be in a good mood. "Hi Daddy. Hi Astra. How are you?"
Astra shakes her head, "no, no trouble just thinking..." She smiles at Blisa "Hey" she says softly.
Scioto hugs Blisa,"Blisa, you look to be in a good moood, I am glad"
Blisa smiles brightly. "And I'm glad that you're glad." looking cheerily at Astra, she asks, "Thinking what? Thinking is very good for creatures." The guard smiles at this little bit of logic, but other than that stays in the background.
Astra smiles, "nothing too important just something on my mind."
Scioto says, "Just so your behaving Blisa"
Blisa blushes slightly, then slips over to Astra's side. Hugging her, she says, "Can you please tell me?"
Astra frowns"Well..can't really but, hey least I live here now in the village"
Scioto speaks,"As long as it doen't effect work as a guard, I have sommething to deal with, chat later" He walks off.
Blisa jumps a little. "Yay!" she waves to her father, the turns back to the other adult. "I'm so happy that you live here now!"
Astra watces Scioto head off and sees both glad and sligtly upset, she turns back to Blisa"Yes, I will soon have my own den, in couple days till then I sleep in the guard house"
Blisa holds the adult's paw. "What's it like in there?"
Astra sighs, "Loud and I can't sleep well,but thats ok, I have no where else to sleep a couple days"
Blisa frowns slightly. "Why is it loud?"
Astra says, "off duty guards playing cards or just talking or drinking"
Blisa's eyes widen slightly. "I thought they weren't allowed to get drunk, even when off duty."
Astra says, "well cat drink on duty, dont know bout off, liked it better at your place but, its ok'"
Blisa frowns, then sighs. "I'm sorry. Why can't you stay at the inn? I'm sure they'd let you stay for free since you're a guard...you are a guard, right?"
Oakenpaw walks in skipping along quite happily.
Astra nods "I am a guard and the inn is expesive"
Blisa looks confused. "Why won't they let you stay for free? I mean, who knows when you'll save thier lives?"
Oakenpaw comes over with some drinks for Blissa and Astra "Hullo"
Astra looks at Oakenpaw, "Service outside? Not really thristy right now" She shurgs at Blisa, "Dont know, its alright though, guard house is ok for two more days and not goig to ask to stay elsewhere"
Blisa smiles at the hare. "Hi! Whatcha got there?" cocking an eyebrow at Astra, she asks brightly, "Where are you going in 2 days?"
Oakenpaw says, "this is Blackberry cordial...." he smiles and sits down "wanna try some? and I Never charge Ms Astra a farthing"
Astra says, "to my own small den here in the village, it will be ready then and I can live there"
Blisa jumps up and downs a little. "Oh, that's great! Can I visit you?" plopping downs beside Oakenpaw, she takes a cup from him and goes to try the cordial.
Oakenpaw smiles as he lets her try the sweet drink. and gets some meadow cream "maybe later we can even play some?"
Astra shrugs, "That be up to Scioto,not me on visiting"
Blisa smiles at Oakenpaw, reaching for the meadowcream. "I'm sure Daddy will say yes. Will you come and visit us sometimes, too?"
Astra shrugs, "I dont know on me visiting or not, not always the best idea"
Oakenpaw doles out some meadowcream for her "Have you been having a good day Blissa?"
Blisa nods, eating the sweet cream. "It's been better than other days. What about you? How's your day going?"
Oakenpaw says, "My day is always happy when I see our Blissa, you bring Joy"
Blisa blushes and giggles. "Really?"
Oakenpaw nods "yes relly...do you not see how I smile whenever you come in?"
Blisa shakes her head, still not certain, still not quite believing him.
Oakenpaw says, "well you wantch, watch my face and yer fathers when you come in....I love you Blissa"
Blisa smiles slightly and nods, then turns back to her snack. "This is yummy!"
Oakenpaw chuckles and gives her a snuggle. Oakenpaw asks, "so haveyou beenbeing a good gel?"
Blisa giggles at the snuggle, then freezes slightly. If she says 'yes', she'll be lieing, but if she says 'no', she'll have to explain herself! What should she do? She chooses to lie, and hopes desperatly that nobeast notices. "I've been good..." her ferret guard raises an eyebrow, but at the moment, says nothing.
Astra has let them do most of the talking.
Oakenpaw says, "well that's good then" he givesher a hug and says "I must go check on the Informary...good eve all"
Blisa sighs with relief and waves good-bye to the hare. He bought her lie! Hooray! Turning back to Astra, full of confidance, she asks, "What did you say? I forgot."
Astra says, "just not sure can visit you or not"
"Why couldn't you?" Blisa asks, sipping her cordial.
Astra shrugs, "I wouldnt want to be a brother and sort of started to...well it doesnt matter now, does it" She smiles a little.
Blisa smiles back and asks, "Started to do what?" What a problamatic thing curiosity is.
Astra frowns, "To..ummm, welll." She is unsure how to explain it so sighs, "Not important"
Blisa frowns also, then stands, gulps downs her cordial and meadowcream, then waves. "I just remembered something...it was great seeing you again! Please come and visit me!" and she's off in a flash. Groaning, the ferret guard smiles apolagetically at Astra. "I'm thorry...I need to...yeah, I need to follow her. Thorry." and he, too, is off in a flash.
