The Otters Return Home

Moledeep: Mole Hall

The room today, has two stoats! Kentar...and Chris! Looks like Garnet trusts him with his son again, since he's bouncing and playing with the little one, not seeming to have a care in the world. First time he's been in a good mood since Bale and Robin showed up.

Will had spent part of the night and most of the day checking locks and making a list of all the food and general supplies Moledeep has on paw as well as trying to plan out at good defensive strategy against attackers. He's not very good with strategy and walks back into the hall from the storage chamber to work on this problem more when he sees Kentar and Chris. "You're awake. ... and happy. .... Doubt you or Garnet heard what I was trying t tell everyone last night?" He sits down a the table with a crumpled sketch of Moledeep he'd made. It's rather crude but later he can ask Kluna to draw a nicer one if he needs to.

Christopher laughs and claps his paws together as his father bounces him on his knee. "Heee!" The dibbun giggles. Kentar peeks over his shoulder to his brother, smiling some. "Hey Will!" he then tilts his head. "No...what is it?" He asks, smiling. "Oh! By the way. I've been working on a cake recipe that Aik might be able to eat when he gets back...what do you think? You want to help me with it tonight maybe?"

Will sighs, "... maybe. .... But ... come sit down so I can talk t you. .... You're not gonna like this but you have t know anyway." The rat motions at the chair across from him.

Kentar tilts his head. "Alright." he shrugs a little, thinking Will might have broken something or gone somewhere without permission again. He keeps a smile on his face as he slings Chris carefully onto his shoulders, the dibbun giggling more as he sits down, pulling him off his head, spinning him around and sitting him on his knee, facing Will. "What's up, Will?

Will chews on his lip a bit before starting, "Yesterday I was washing some dishes in th kitchen and dropped some of them and they broke. So I cleaned it up, wrote a note for all of you in case you wondered where I'd went and walked up t th Abbey t make some new dishes." He pauses a little think over what he has to tell the stoat next.

Kentar laughs, still bouncing Chris on his knee. "What!? Oh Will, you bad little rat." he grins. "Thats it! No more suppers for you for a week!" he laughs. "Will. Its not that bad. You made some more, so there's nothing wrong." he smiles.

Will rolls his eye. "While I was at th Abbey I was told one th healers was poisoned and that a beasts in red uniforms for Ashturah have been asking around for a 'Aikuen Tazan' who's wanted by their king for treason among other crimes. They went north of th Abbey ... but they may find us again. Sounds like there's a lot more of them this time then th last time. Killing Snive didn't stop em from coming back t Mossflower but it may have bought us some time at least. Th first group was stupid or something but I doubt this new group will be as stupid ... they probably know what Pa can do t them. .... They must if they want him alive stead of dead. I don't think they know he lives here yet and unless I told them or they got a good look at my blade they wouldn't know who I am ..... but if they find out .... We just need t be ready for them /if/ they come here and more than likely they will sooner or later. Sorry it's not good news. You can tell Garnet an Kluna ... when you want to.

I made a list of all th food we have and everything that's in th storage chamber. I was thinking we could make traps or something so when they come they won't be able t come in th door like Bale an Robin did .... maybe not even th clearing itself. .... though waking up t see dead beasts in red blocking th front door again would be better than them not being dead."

Kentar slowly stops bouncing his son on his knee, setting the little dibbun on the table to sit. There's no more laughing. Seems like both stoats know what it means. "How many and how long ago was it?" he asks. He's gone from father mode to his old safety mode. Slowly, he stands and looks around slowly.

Will shrugs, "Th first time was early in th Spring. There was two dead by th entrance and th ear off another with them ... and Snive tied up in th rose garden. There may have been more but not many more I think they were killed .... I don't know if any of them got away. Pa said Snive would have told where we were if he been let t leave like Pa was going t do before ...... Snive was killed. Some may have got away. That was before we met you back when it was just me an Racky an Pa. Racky slept through th whole thing I think. He's hasn't said otherwise so I think he must have. I don't know how many there are this time but I'm sure it's a lot a small amry at least I'd guess they'd know better than most how strong an all Pa is. ... But they want t take him back t their island alive. But they still would need t catch him and who knows what th punishment for treason is over there or piracy or what Bale wanted you t do or any of th other stuff they say he did. I'm saying he didn't do any of that stuff.

I know he was th leader of a rebellion against th king of Ashturah and th king kicked him off th island for it if I remember right ... but then he must have changed his mind with beasts coming t look for Pa again and again."

Will nods a little, "Amy's in her room and already knows. I don't know where Robin is ... he might be in th rose garden. It I'll go look there unless you know know where he is."

Kentar pauses. "In the infirmary. He's taken up a hobby of learning about different potions and stuff like that. Get him. You can fill Amy in on what I'll be saying." he says, vanishing into his room for a second.

Will blinks "Uh, ok." The stoat hasn't really said anything yet so the rat shrugs a little to himself as walks into the cellar to get Amy before going to get Robin from the infirmary.

Kentar returns into the hall, his sword now around his waist, buckled tightly. There is also some rope around his shoulder. The stoat sits down and waits for Will to return with Robin and Amy.

Amethyst comes out into the hall when Will calls her, "Did you tell the stoats what's going on yet? I haven't seen them yet today and I've been kinda busy." She'd been mending things for something to do while Will was making lists of things.

Will nudges the maid toward the sleeping hall and nods, "I told him. He wanted me t get you an Robin. Robin's in th infirm. Then Kentar wants t talk t us in th hall. And there might be a cake when th otters get back but I wouldn't count on it."

Amethyst nods a little, "Ok. Bad news means we don't get cake. ... One more reason to not like the beasts in red. Let's go find th extra stoat and find out what Kentar has to say, then." She walks off into the infirmary with Will.

The stoat watches them for a moment before scratching his head. When they go into the infirmary, Robin has just finished restocking some books, onto the shelves when the rats come in. He's a little taller then Kentar so its easier for him then it is for his uncle. "Hey there..." he smiles a little, tilting his head. "Something wrong?"

Will nods, "Yes. You're not in trouble or anything though. Kentar wanted us to get you so he can talk t all of us together."

Robin ohs and sets the rest of the books down, slowly nodding and going to follow the rats into the hall.

Amethyst falls to the back of the group as they make their way back to the hall and she sits down at the table waiting for somebeast to say something.

Kentar is sitting in the hall, waiting. When they return, he motions to the seats. "Since Aikuen appears to be a hunted beast, and we are his family...we're not safe. Even in a location as hidden as this. Until the otters return, there will be patrols. Day and night. Robin, you'll take the night patrol. I'll take the day." Robin only nods, guessing he'll be filled in later. "No one leaves Moledeep alone, and no one leaves without clearing it with me first. I know I might be overreacting, but. From what I've been told, Aik's hunters are...skilled." he sighs. "Sorry if I am going a little far, but. I'm careful. Dibbuns and two fighters here right now, I don't think that we're safe right now and if Moledeep is found, then. Yeah." he scratches his head. From his voice, he's nervous. And he's got the nice task of telling Aik, when they get back, he's being hunted.

Will nods in agreement with what Kentar is saying and then asks, "You think it'll be enough with just you an Robin patrolling?"

Kentar shakes his head and motions to the rope. "No. Its why I'm going to set traps." he says. "I'm an expert trap layer. Or at least, I used to be.

Amethyst asks, "Where are these traps going to be?"

Kentar thinks. "I'm going to set some on each side so the only way anybeast can get in or out is to travel with either me, or Robin, which is what will be happening from now on." he says. Robin nods a little but tilts his head after wards.

Amethyst nods, "Ok. And when are you going to tell Garnet about what's going on? Or your fellow guard here? I'd tell them myself but you seem to be in charge here. They do need to be told ... both of them. Yes she'll be upset but she'll be more upset if you don't tell her."

Kentar nods. "Robin...Aikuen, the otter you've not met yet...one of the otters you've not met yet...is apparently being hunted. IF he's being hunted, then I guess we are too. All of us know where he's gone. So we're at risk." He nods.

Will says, "It's not too likely they know about us. Right now they're just looking for Pa and they were last seen north of Redwall Abbey and we're Southwest of th Abbey. With luck they won't figure that out."

The stoat shrugs. "Doesn't matter. Aikuen lives here. If he's found out, we're all going to be affected. Doesn't matter where we are." he says simply. "Anyways. Robin and I will stay armed at all times. Will, you can too if you want, but its not needed. I know the rules are no weapons, blah blah blah, but seeing as I'm the one in charge, I'm waving that rule right now. Weapons allowed if needed. I think its needed." he rubs over his face again. "I wish the otters were here right now. I feel like an idiot."

Will smiles a little, "You're confusing 'no weapons in th Abbey' with what's written on that sign out front. Th rules here say guests can't have weapons unless one of us says they can. Sooo about half of us will be armed in someway now. I think we all wish they were here and you're not a idiot."

Kentar blinks. "Really?" he tilts his head. "Oh. I guess...hah, I guess I misread it. Not very good with reading now that I've been made a Cyclops." he laughs a little.

Will grins, "My writing's not that bad. Side's it's one th first things on there, right near th top. Kinda hard t miss I'd think."

Kentar laughs. "Don't worry, Will, its not just your writing, its all writing." he smirks a little, chuckling.

Amethyst smiles as the brothers tease each other. They both could use it with the way things have been. "Meeting adjourned?" she asks since no beast is talking about the threat anymore.

Kentar huhs and looks to Amy. "Oh! Yeah. Sure. But remember, no leaving without telling me. And watch out for the traps." He says, standing. "Robin, come with me. Will, Amy, you two stay here." The stoat dibbun stands and starts to walk towards the door with Kentar.

"Ok. .... Let me know if you still want t make cake tonight!" Will calls after Kentar.

Moledeep: Tunnel Entrance

Knocking can be heard on the door, along with muffled voice. One is male and the other is female. they sound familiar.

The two stoats were JUST unlocking the door when there was a knock. Kentar heard the voices, but failed to realize who it might be. His sword was out in a second and the door was thrown open. "State your business here!" he growls before blinking at who he sees.

Fira hates doors, lacking the hearing to know anything going on behind them she doesn't know what's going on till there's Kentar with a sword. She blinks before there's a slight frown "It's us" obviously. She just moves onwards, going to help an injured Aikuen inside.

Aikuen is lead by her inside. Aikuen looks in a frightful state. His left arm is splinted and is locked by his side. The area around his left eye is blackened and almost sealed shut. On his right arm there is a long cut, from his shoulder to his paw. On his open back hunks of flesh have been removed. His rudder has been tied to the inside of his leg. He tilts his head at Kentar, "We live here... " not getting why the door was locked.

Moledeep: Mole Hall

Amethyst waits for the stoats' foot falls to fade away before smiling, "The stoats' like to leave. And leave us alone." She turns in her chair to better hear the sounds coming nearer again, "... And now they're back again. Forget something? ... You are not stoats."

Will stands up at the sound of beasts approaching. He stopped himself from drawing his sword when he heard the otters' voices. "You're back!" He blinks as they get closer and he walks toward them, but something's wrong. "What happened?! Did ... did they find you already?!" he asks seeing Aikuen's hurt.

Kentar blinks. "By seasons! What happened!" he shouts, sheathing his sword and going to help Aik to a chair. "Robin!" He barks out. "Get the door." the younger stoat closes and locks the door. "Are you alright? My heavens, what happened?!" he sounds worried. Duh. "Robin, get the pitcher of cold water that's in the kitchen, now!" and he does just that. Used to taking orders it seems. He ignores Will as he starts to inspect Aik's wounds.

Will moves back out of the way and sits back down again. He looks to Fira, "Word at th Abbey is a group of beasts are looking for Pa and want t capture him. They're from Ashtuah. Th order beasts said they left th Abbey when no one there would help them and headed north. They want t take him back t their island for crimes against their ruler. Before that Robin an Bale came here. Robin is Kentar's nephew and is the other stoat you see around here. Bale's ... in th rose garden. Kentar can tell you about that."

Aikuen blinks a few times at Kentar, "Had a run in with my past... I'll tell you later..." Not really wanting to talk about it right now. He is helped to a chair and he rests against it for a minute before looking back up, "I'm fine... just a bit beat up in places..." Fira did do a wonderful job of healing him. None of his wounds seem to be bleeding. He just looks awful. He tilts his head at Robin. He is new. All in due time. He shakes his head at Kentar, "Stop that... I'll go to the infirm in a minute to get properly healed. I'm fine at the moment..." he takes Fira paw and gives it a little squeeze, "We're home..."

Amethyst is keeping quiet all through this. All she really knows is the otters are back. The rest she'll have Will fill her in on later.

Kentar nods slowly and takes a deep breath, taking the water from Robin. "Get the infirmary set up for him." he says. The stoat nods and vanishes as Kentar pours two cups of water. "At least you're alright." he says, holding out a cup to Fira, not really sure if Aik could hold his. So after a moment, he hands Aik's to Fira too. "You both have a lot to explain." he sighs. "But I guess you found out you were being...hunted." he frowns. "Saves us the trouble of saying it." the stoat sits next to Aik and continues to look over the wounds. "Stupid...stupid...stupid." he mutters.

Fira nods slowly to Will before there's a quiet sigh "Better there than here" she looks back to Aik when her paw's touched "After a very long day" Kentar gets her attention with the water and she takes it before stooping, going to help Aikuen back up again "Think explanations are going to have to be on hold for a little bit. I'm going to get him to the infirmary, not sure how good my patching up was."

Will nods, "Ok. .... I'm glad you're back Mum. That both of you are back. We missed you two a lot."

Kentar nods a bit. "Yeah. We're glad...insanely glad." he then goes to help Aik too. "Yeah. You did a good job, Fira. When he gets all settled back in, I'll patch him up a bit better." he nods. "If, of course, he lets me." the stoat sighs. "When you get a chance Fira, I need to speak with you, please..." He mouths the words to her so that the other's can't hear

Moledeep: Infirmary

Aikuen smiles at Kentar, "Thank ye mate... I promise not to be too demanding in the future!" he laughs and sighs looking back to Robin, "Hey Robin... and This beautiful creature who is not paying attention is Fira, my wife..." Fira ties a knot on his splint and looks up. She blinks as everybeast is looking at her she gives a small wave to Robin, "Hey" Before just going to stare as she missed the conversation. Aik laughs and looks to Robin again, making the quick connection of family ties, "So Bale is Kentar's brother... you're his nephew, and you're his uncle..." he then blinks at the next part, "Really?" he goes to eye him right back, with a tilted head. He is very confused.

The older stoat nods. "Robin, please go get some saltwater and some moss..." he says. Robin only nods and vanishes. "Yes. You remember me telling you about Bale? The slaver in the family..." he says. "Well. He showed up while you were gone...him and Robin."

Aikuen looks back at Kentar after the other stoat left, "Yes I remember Bale... and they both showed up..." and he blinks a few times and goes wide eyed, "Were they here to... enslave..." Fira kisses him on the cheek before going to rest against the cot, seeming to distract him enough. And it did. Aik sighs and says, "Well where is Bale now..." he asks.

Kentar Shakes his head. "Not to enslave. Not at first. At first he tried to get me to go back to my...old ways. Of being a slaver...I kicked him and Robin out of Moledeep for it. Then they came back. Tried to kill Garnet and me..." he pauses then sighs, scratching his ear, starting to stitch up Aik's arm wound. "I killed him." he says. "And whipped Robin for a full night."

Will peeks in the door to see how the otters are doing after explaining Aik's condition to Amy. "Hi," he says quietly from the doorway not wanting to interrupt the older beasts yet. It's not like the otters are going anywhere.

Aikuen watches the stoat and nods along, though he may not be agreeing, "Good that you kicked him out... They what!?!..." he then tilts his head, and says, "What did you... You killed him... your brother..." he blinks a few times and looks down before looking back up at Kentar with a sigh, "You did... what you had to do... to save her... Though the thing with Robin..." he just shakes his head. He can't really say anything about it. He sighs and looks up, "Oh hey Will! Get over here and give your parents a hug!" yes he is trying to lighten the mood. He needs to.

Kentar nods a little. "I know. That...was...more then I should have. Garnet taught me a lesson. By leaving me." he says quietly, scratching his head. "She hated me for a while. Took her ring off. Didn't even let me see Chris for a while. But. Last night we fixed it. We're fine now..." he smiles then looks to Will. "Hey Will." he then focuses on the stitching.

Will walks over to the otters. He hugs Fira first since she isn't hurt and then very gently hugs Aikuen once he's able to.

Aikuen gives the rat a one arm hug back and then ruffs his head fur, "How ya doing son... Umm... never mind..." as Kentar is explaining it. He looks back over to the stoat and sighs, "Well..." he looks over to Fira, "Don't tell her I said this but... she may have overreacted... I mean come on, leave you... that's... not right..." he twitches at the stitching, "Ouch... careful..." he then continues on, "She also kept away your son... I wonder what made her to do that..." he sighs, as he was hoping that the tunnel would be fine. Guess not. Aikuen rubs a paw in his black eye and pulls off some dead fur, "I'm glad it all worked out... I would miss having you... or her, around... wouldn't be the same... OUCH!" he pokes the stoat in rebuttal.

Kentar chuckles a bit at the ow and grins a little. "I am being careful..." he then sighs. "I don't want to talk about it. But you can ask her if you'd like...She'll probably tell you." The stoat says before breaking the thread of the stitches when they're done. "Aikuen...When...I'm finished patching you up, we need to talk." he says with a nod. Robin enters the room with a cloth, saltwater, and moss. Lots of it.

Will has pulled up a chair to sit next to Aikuen. "Other than," he waves a paw at the otter's injuries, "Did you two have a good trip or was it all bad?"

Aikuen nods at Kentar, "I will... later... after were all settled again. And..." he blinks a few times, as talks with Kentar usually wind him in trouble again, "Yah, sure thing mate..." he then looks to Will and smiles, "Oh it was amazing... an otter's paradise her lake was... Got A LOT of alone time... we walked and talked and had fun... saw her old home, and the rest of the holt ... meet her parents..." he blinks and continues, and points to his wounds "This only happened yesterday and today... a terrible ending to a wonderful.. eh... Honeymoon, as she called it... lets call it that..." he grins at her. Ah, then Robin returns, "Welcome back... let me see the salt water first... then we can get to work on my back..."

Robin nods and hands over the saltwater thing, not sure what to do. So he just sits there. "You know..." Robin starts. "You're...taller then I thought." he tilts his head. Kentar can't help but to chuckle.

Will smiles as Aikuen talks, a little puzzled since he didn't know Fira had parents but he can ask about them later. He turns to grin at Robin's comment, "Did we forget to tell you we have giant otters, cause we do."

Aikuen takes the glass and places it to his swollen black eye. He tilts up and lets the saltwater clean it. All the dead fur and dried blood swim into the glass. Then the salt also seals any cuts or small gashes created during the hit, and the swelling. He takes the glass off and wipes his eyes on the cloth, "That... was painful..." he sighs and looks back to Robin with a chuckle, "Yep, i get that a lot... Taller then the average otter by about... I saw a head... Yes giants even" he laughs at Wills comment, then he points to his wife, "She is just a little under me. Almost as tall... " he then laughs, "You're taller then Kentar... I think that's funny!" he chuckles lightly and goes to lay on his back, moving his splinted arm out of the way, "Okay! ready to play, 'Fill in the holes?'"

Kentar laughs a little. "Hey, just cause I was the runt in the family, doesn't mean I should be picked on!" He laughs. Robin chuckles a little before tilting his head. "So. How do we fix the holes?" Robin asks.

Aikuen laughs at Kentar, "Somebody had to be the runt, guess it had to be you!" he then looks up at Robin and says, "Its simple... and gross, and very painful... but it will fix the holes in my back. Eventually." He explains, "First, wet a pawful of moss in water. Then place it VERY carefully into one of the holes. Just enough where i start to bleed again. Then, pour a little anesthetic on top of the moss, before sealing it up with a bandage. Don't suture... i need to have access to the hole every few days or say to change the bandage..." It sounds like he has done this before, and is not worried. Good thing Fira either feel asleep, or trying not to see what's going to happen next. As she has closed her eyes.

The two stoats nod and get to work. Kentar slowly runs his paw over the back of the otter slowly, over the holes absentmindedly. "Dad used to do things like that." he says quietly before sighing a little. "Aik. You...I'm so jealous of." he chuckles a bit and when the wet moss is handed to him, he gently and CAREFULLY places it into hole until it starts to bleed again. He then pours just a bit of anesthetic on that one before going to do the other holes the same way.

"Is that what it's called? Guess it must work otherwise there wouldn't be much of you left by now." Will says as he heads for the door not wanting to see this part. "I'm gonna let Amy know how you're doing," he says as he makes his escape.

Aikuen grunts as the holes are filled. It hurts like there was no tomorrow. But he grits through to answer, "He used to shoot barbed arrows into a beasts back... and then yank'em out..." he shrugs as that would make sense. And then he can feel him bleeding in his back. And he growls and grits, with a few curses throws in for kicks. He looks to Will, "See yah Will..." and he sighs. Getting hurt is just something this otter has gotten used too. But then he is confused, "Jealous? Why? That your not having your back filled with flora?"

Kentar sighs and deep down, he's enjoying hurting the poor otter. He doesn't show it at all though. But his brother was right. He would always have that evilness inside him, no matter what he did. So he carefully applies the moss and then the anesthetic before bandaging Aik up. "The fact that you can take pain. I can't. Not very well anyways." he nods then shakes his head. "No. My father. Got some sort of sick pleasure from carving his face into slave's back. It was his version of branding. Very...painful to listen to."

Aikuen shrugs, "That's just because I'm used to it. Its more of a curse..." skipping that part, "I'm sorry to hear that mate... about your father..." he shakes his head at the branding, going to rest his head against the bed, "Ouch! Okay that hurt... Thanks mate... for doing this... I know it's gross... Do you mind helping me change the bandage every few days? I'm going to need somebeast to do that for me..."

Kentar nods a bit. "But still. I'd kill to be immune to pain." he chuckles a bit before nodding. "I don't mind at all." he says and once the bandages are wrapped totally around the otter, he stands and washes off his paws. "So. Robin. Can we have a minute alone please?" Robin nods, stands then leaves. "Aik...I know its really not the best time to talk about what I am going to talk about...but..."

Aikuen groans and stands up going to sit on the side of the bed, "Thanks mate..." He then uses his free paw to grab on to Fira's again as she sleeps. He give it a little rub and she smirks. Aik smiles and looks back to Kentar, "Well im all patched up now... What is it you want to talk about..." he blinks weakly at him.

Kentar thinks for a moment. "Maybe it should wait till your feeling better..." he pauses then shakes his head. "Just. Rules I put in place today." He says. "And one of them applies to you more then anyone else here."

Aikuen tilts his head, "Rules?" yep he was right, he was in trouble again. He sighs, "What rule?" he asks.

Kentar grins a little at the sigh. "Well. When Will came back from the abbey yesterday, he told us that those red cloak wearing freaks were after you. And since you live here, we're all in danger. So I appointed myself head of defense." he chuckles a little. "So I put rules in place. No one. And I mean no one...goes anywhere without telling me or Robin first. And second, and this is the one that applies to you more then anyone else, is to never go anywhere alone. And that means you and Fira too. After this...I don't think..." he pauses. "I don't think you can handle yourself around Fira as well as you could without her around anymore." he states bluntly. "I was thinking it over when we came in here. You got...mangled, Aik. The old Aik I don't think would have." He's only looking out for him. And he hopes he's not stepping out of line.

Aikuen eyes the stoat and almost shakes his head, "First, I will tell you where i am... IF I go outside... thats fine... but not Robin... for obvious reasons..." he then eyes the stoat once more, "Secondly, I'm going to have to decline that other rule... True, I will never go alone again" he sighs, "I know I can't handle myself as well with Fira... As I have the feeling to protect her... But she picks up the slack... She helped me this trip... And without her... I would have died... if I was by myself..." It's not what Kentar said, it's more of how he said it, "That was not mangled... that was more of a bad day to me... I'm fine Kentar... I really am..." he sighs, "Me and Fira will never leave alone again... I'm sorry, but you cannot put the rule over our heads... I know your just trying to protect us... but even after this little trip... I'm not going to go and hide in the tunnel for the rest of my life..."

Kentar sighs and nods. "Me is fine. But only if you go outside the lands of Moledeep. And Aik. I can put that rule over both of your heads. And I have done it." he says simply. "I will force either me or Robin to go with you and Fira. Its not a matter if she saved your life or not, its a matter of the fact. You can't fight as well as you used to anymore. You've got a family Aikuen. Fira, Will. Me." he says. "If anything were to happen to you, how would we feel? No. Either Robin or myself will be going with you and Fira anytime you leave the area. Sorry Aikuen. Until you show me that you can fight and protect yourself again, its final." he says.

Aikuen sighs and looks away from him and thinks for minute. He then looks back at him. He knows where is getting at, but its still not something the otter approves, "You can... TRY... to put it over our heads..." he then looks to Fira, "I will follow that rule... but dont expect me to be happy about it... and im filing a formal complaint..."

Kentar nods and then grins a little. "Thank you." he says. "I have put it over your heads. Follow the rule, when the danger is gone, then the rule is lifted. Right now, since your in the condition you're in, I'm in charge. I have the weapon, I have the strength. And I also have the desire to protect my friends and family." he says. "The complaint is noted." he nods. "But it's a complaint, so don't expect anything to get done without doing the proper paper work." he nods. "Wow, I sound like a shrew..."

Aikuen laughs, "Yes you do sound like a shrew... Motion seconded and carried" he chuckles a little, and nods a little bit, "You may have the weapon... but you will never have the strength... Back in the day, I'd be in field duty right now... and even though I'm like this... I could go a few more rounds..." he chuckles, "But, we will tell you if we leave Moledeep, and YOU can follow us, if me or Fira... or both of us leave... But not Robin... I don't trust him yet... sorry, old habits..." he takes a deep breath, and looks back to his wife.

Kentar nods. "Alright. That's all I want to hear." he smiles softly. "Trust me. If I was still at my village, and my father was still alive. I could be missing a head and I'd still be forced to fight." He laughs. "Yeah. Armies. Not fun." he nods. "Anyways. Robin...Robin's a good kid. Just had a bad father." he nods a little. "I've sort of been wondering what you'd think of him when you got back. If you'd make him leave or anything because of what his dad made him do...

Aikuen shrugs, "He may be the greatest kid in the world... I still don't trust him... not yet... and so far, what I've seen from him, he is... a little odd. But generally good." he then tilts his head, "As long as he doesn't practice what he did, or try to enforce it here, or act out against the others, I'm quite fine with him staying here..." he then stares at him, "But if he ever hurts Fira... in anyway... No questions asked" he frowns as Kentar knows what he is talking about

Kentar nods slowly. "I agree. Odd. But he's scared of me. Ever since I whipped him that night. I hurt him more in that night then you got hurt yesterday." he says. "Only...with less long lasting damage." he nods a little. "Alright. If he ever hurts Fira. You can kill him." he sighs quietly. "If he ever hurts Garnet. I will kill him. If he ever hurts Amy, Will can kill him. And if he ever hurts Will...oh well, not a big loss..." he laughs then smirks. "Then we all can kill him."

Aikuen blinks a few times, as he seems so light about killing him. But he shrugs it off, and laughs at the cruel joke, "Heh... " he then yawns and goes to lay on his stomach next to Fira, "Listen Kentar... I know your trying to protect us and stuff... but as i said before, I'm not going to hide... i still plan to go and buy that ship... then this winter, another little something... Never hide in fear, for then you fear living..." he yawns again, "But thanks for helping us..." he plants a small kiss on his wife before going to settle against her, "Its been a long day... I need to rest..." and he closes his eyes.

Kentar nods slowly. "I'm not trying to force you to stay. Heck, I want to to go out and about. But only with me. Have protection. More protection. And the ship idea is a great one. Garnet and I are planning a trip too soon, so..." he then nods. "Good night Aik. Sleep well. And I'm so, so happy to have to back." he smiles a little, then stands, leaving the room.
